"ideals" poems
“please be naked” she stands in her doorway wearing just a gown, I walk in the house, dumbstruck by beauty, up in her room undoing the bow, the shield simply slides down caressing her curves, stroking down to the floor, intertwined bodies craving the touch of the other, joined as one in the gentle acts of love and lust, romanticised ideals of perfection and soft rhythm, delicate groans as two become one, the broken poet, for the moment, is gone, my drug addiction of you, just wanting more, As my heart bleeds, love begins to pour. “please be naked”.

Loyalty it's an odd word isn't it? break it down Loyal simple enough you have your side and you stick to it but how about the T that caps off the word the intersecting lines almost standing for intersecting ideals and ideas I think that's significant because in this world people are always loyal until the end where going a different direction is the smart thing to do

Loyalty
I wipe marker off the board, and I have a painful tendency of quickly growing bored. I can't erase the ink-spots lingering in high-up corners; to spare the self-defeat, I teach myself how to ignore them. Ignore the marks, and stains, and pains pretend I'm wiped clean, all the same with little left to lose or gain: I leave them; growth is self-restraint. Perfection is a non-existent notion, so they say; yet, unobtainability is all I can create. For in my mind, these false ideals make tame desires stray, and self-destructive pleasure is my antidote to pain. I think I'm like a little plant of stunted growth, just seeds to start, my plantpot made from breaking hearts: before I grow, I say I can't.

Plagiarism of worthless ideals, that you so ignorantly hold high. Shaking in amazement, how can you call your self alive? Totalitarian, lethargic lifestyle. Ignominious displays of disaffection. Constant contradictions; out of your mind. Caught up in the clouds, cognition of mania and level debauched. Up to high to realize, you're an “open mind” with locked doors. Maslow, Skinner, and Darwin alike, turn in their graves, over your lack of evolution.

You don’t need to try so hard. You can wear the clothes you want. Do whatever you please, Express yourself the way you know how. You can wear those heels Just because you love them. Your true friends will accept you And all your little quirks. It’s time to let it go, Let go of all your fears of judgement. Stop caring what people think of you, It’s none of your business anyways. You are who are for a reason. You’re crazy, eclectic, A miss independent and a little rebellious. You like to defy the norms of society So why aren’t you doing it? Let go of all those rules and make your own. You’ve always stood for the outcasts, Paving your own path, Cutting the trees blocking your way. Why care now about fitting in When you’re a shining gem? You were born to lead, to conquer. This is your destiny, you’ve always worn Your individuality just like a badge. Don’t become submissive, Stop looking for approval, You won’t find it anywhere But inside of yourself. It’s the self-acceptance that comes first, There’s no better friend than you. Go on, look in the mirror. Remember, you better like who you are, That is the person you’ll be stuck with For the rest of your life. Enjoy all the strangeness, All the weird parts of your personality. There’s no refunds, no exchanges. You are who you are and that Is perfection; no matter what anyone says. Accept who you are now, Accept all the growth to come. You can accomplish even your Wildest dreams, those shooting stars. It’s time to just be, Time to stop leaning on societies Ideals and march on out With head held up high. Self acceptance is all you need.

You weren’t worth the Hundred dollars it cost to Keep you in my car.  Princess got poached by the League of Losers with Pedestrian Ideals. I’d spit venom in your direction, if  Poison meant anything to you. But Akin to most things, so sub-human, You miss the world moving around your Ever pulsating veins, and repel these Toxins with a slip of the tongue. Around you I could line Bodies of those you’d loved and left. Each clasping hands with one another, Privy to a specific type of pain, only you can Deal out. And In the center of the circle you’d Stare, stunned by your state of Affairs, and flings. Collectively concerned For the safety of your Rotting consciousness. One by one, I could set these men On fire, and hand you a place  Where your head could be danced off. Drunken and diving heart-first into The burning lake of a  Surfable crowd. Since that’s All we are, serfs. I hope the fire gets too close to your Gorgeous face. I hope the Love you receive is no more likable Than a few more licks from the flames. The scars couldn’t sideline you. No one can stop ****

Over time I built the box wall by wall day by day composed of dreams and desires ideals, beliefs, and goals Over time it kept me safe and where I wanted to be within the boundaries of what I wanted pushing me to succeed keeping me in line Over time it became a prison trapping me in, not letting me out leaving no room for growth no room to move to change, improve, or to fail Over time I took it down wall by wall day by day removed of dreams and desires ideals, beliefs, and goals Over time replaced by the openness of being whatever I want to be able to let things go and to make mistakes for to err is to be human and with that I was set free

Urges through the night, a blade dancing with its mistress, discarding what has summoned up in her way alike a ****** crazed devotion, Scarlet tears make their way down her cheek, washing the sand off as the pillars around begin to collapse alike cards one by one at the time, Phantoms rage as a pure flower appears to commence blooming, The warped moon embraces the shadows of such fools as it rises, Actions with not much meaning seek their rampage as the battle field becomes frail and soulless through this sleepless night of lunacy, When the flood of realisation arrives she will be swept away unlike the wise who make a more solid, stadfast decision. How trecious, Does she want to take a dance with this cruel world she rampages on, are her ideals fitting for this battle she is about to win for now, Drenched in blood and impurities of her work, her mind remains pure, innocent, not even sweating one thought to the consequences, Mercy nor compassion are unlikely to be granted in this darkening realm, not to her dancing knife or her lunatic ****** devotion, Time is moving, as she sacrafices her soul for her actions, Taking another dance in this distorted dark ~ Umi

A pulsing electricity Fuels your computer Which takes you to websites You'd rather not visit But that you visit Anyway It's that same electricity That fuels the cameras Which we covered with boxes, A last ditch attempt To reconcile ideals With the world We really live in And when you think about What fuels our hearts And concequently our minds You might Come the conclusion That we Are not products Of the modern world- The modern world Is a product Of us

July 4th, 2018 Where the land of the free has become obscured by the shadow of oppression, Its' silhouettes are the monsters children are afraid of under their beds. How, fireworks remind so many gunshots Self-proclaimed nationalists cannot stay loyal enough, to know what would be good for this land. This land of the free, no longer belongs to the home of the brave, but the cowardly. Family & children born unto what we deem unattached, from the roots of this soil, they are not welcomed for lady liberty's "borrowed" arms to embrace them. When each artifact was sculpted from an immigrant's hands, but we've warranted their tribulations are greater than stars on our flag. If those stars stand for detainment, tragedy, and fascism. I do not proudly pledge such ideals, embracing my heritage of greats- who journeyed over on ships across seas. They are the stars of America's history. —V.H.

Birds have their homes. This bird made this world, Its own home. When other birds struggled To make friends beyond their homes, This bird made followers and comrades, Transformed them The perseverent leaders of a challenging mission It put its foot on Argentina and Set its victorious fight in Cuba. Availed losses in Congo Voiced and breathed every millisecond Struggled recklessly for a mission, Freedom, peace & prosperity of all its fellow birds Beyond borders. The most superior of the superior birds With an infinite and complex strings of cunningness Put an end to this bird in Bolivia. At the end, the bird failed Fell a prey for other selfish birds. As a root that fell and Buried itself in the soil with an infinite power. To give hope and shelter, To all those who come under it, For the near future and coming generations The bird died! But its mission ignited the phoenix flames In its bird comrades. Got them to fight for Every drop of Injustice, Imperialism and hatred That came racing towards them As an inescapable bullet Their hearts raised in spirit When every drop of its thought Hit them more fierce than The world’s most powerful atomic bomb. The bird died. But its ideals for the mission Rekindled the fires in their heart. Being born an ordinary bird, Fighting for the most demanded & toughest mission, Its thought and principles Set new leaders to fight the unattainable mission Now, looking the most possible Within an attaining distance The bird lived its life, An ordinary and the most challenging one. But transformed a phoenix, When it left the world. And created more of Daring Phoenix warriors; Attain a world filled with peace and happiness.

Her crystal clearer than her vision; she provoked bemused derision as she breathed intolerance toward all who would not dance her dance. I want to compel, all the people to tell, of their travels, their hardships, b and times that went well. The love that was shared, and hate that was bared. Is a part of your life, if you truly cared. Twas fear that berated the souls of the earth. With pain contemplated, the flame lost its hearth. But when claims no one stated, begin to unearth. The stains we created, start losing their worth. For what is fear without worries to fuel it? Darkness may make it, but governments mule it. Realize, this fear isn't real, and misinformation, is all you've been fed. Then you'll start to ponder, is this life even real? Is there any legitimacy, in all the things that they've said? There is nothing hiding in your closet or bed. And there are less evil people, than in the news that you've read. This idea was created, so they wouldn't be blamed. But you won't be jaded, you cannot not be tamed. The people that faded, that still are unnamed. You fight for their memory, cause they'd do the same. You Stand for their ideals, And keep them all close. Feel all of the feels, cheerful or morose.

This Fear isn't real
I truly believe that one of the reasons that the US is despised and condemned world wide is because of such views on such characteristics as: honesty, integrity, independence(this includes not thinking in a collective mindset which we do as a culture, everything is apple or windows, pepsi or cola, republican or democrat, people need to think for themselves stop claiming and just be), persistence, determination, morale, empathy, tradition/heritage, learning, chivalry, discernment, and humility. Instead of utilizing and perfecting these people of this nation and similar one's have become: prideful, dependent, drive-less, imprudent/unwise, insulting, ignorant(willfully so), objective, biased, crude, mediocre, and surface oriented. In turn we have neglected the responsibilities we have of ourselves. This has resulted in physical, mental, and spiritual capacity regression on a mass scale. Most people have no idea what they are consuming in their daily dietary intake(I mean really know what all the ingredients are and what they do whether positive or negative). Most citizens have also become, literally and according to the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization, mentally incapable and completely inane as compared to even 15yrs ago. We have forgotten how to have a community to the point that neighbors don't know each other anymore. We have exchanged the truly important things in life like knowledge and wisdom for wealth and appearance. We have completely forgotten how to survive without the aid of water treatment, electricity, and useless objects. One of the worst of all things we have stopped doing, is being involved with our government; instead, we have put our trust in them without oversight, and this is why we have been losing our liberties. I believe, just like Benjamin Franklin stated, that any individual who sacrifices even one liberty for safety/security... deserves to have all of their liberties eradicated. In conclusion, it is time to return our societies to ourselves. We need to relearn the truly important things in life and start living with ourselves, each other, and nature as we must to thrive. It is on us as a people to repair what generations before us, and our generations are doing; lest, I am afraid, our children and grandchildren will inherit the same ideals and expand upon them until we regress to the point that insolence, ignorance, and imprudence is the common norm... we have already begun to accept these. Open your eyes to the truth, at first it will be painful and difficult, but than you will be set free. WE THE PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR FUTURES AND CHILDREN'S FUTURES.

*Poetry moves from within our souls, It's emotions pouring out Covering us in rhymes and flow, Like rain from the clouds* ***Infinite letters, words and phrases In various permutations we play Collaboration between heart and mind Breathed into these pieces that we lay*** *Touching lives with our written form Healing with words, what's poetically true Freedom of expression, thoughts and ideals Crying out in ink, until our sadness is through* ***Similar in thoughts but meander through individual routes We all sing the same but to different rhythm and tunes Inscribe our innermost but to varying worthy causes We all draw inspiration but from the same loyal moon*** *A different form of art, yet art none the same It's in the eye of the beholder, so they say Poetry is life drawn in pen, it's not an erasable game It truly breathes life, looking forward to each new day* ***We proudly fly our diverse flags United under one banner We revel in words of poetry In the hopes they'd last forever***

Poetry Breathes Life (Collaboration with The Girl Who Loved You!)
Derartu, Haile, Tirunesh Kenenisa, Meseret, and all With a similar footfall! Displaying a superb Long-distance athletic feat When many superstars Awe inspiringly you beat And as a result of it When your sought-for Fought-for And nation- prayed-for Dream proves a hit And also with kudos A stadium full of people opt You to greet And when spectators Accord you a high five It is for your country's  flag You  immediately dive! Also on the podium while Ethiopia's row-wise Green,Yellow and Red Emblazoned flag, Shoulder high, Soars above You express Your  umbilical cord-tight National love With tears that Trickle down each of Your cheek, quick. Is it because Reminiscent of Each living hero With a life sacrifice That brought colonial Aggression to zero? Is it because The bounty of the land You grew up Seeing first hand? Is it because The cherished corner You cut in the heart of The poor but prideful Ethiopian neighbour? Is it because The unity in diversity That showcases Ethiopia's identity Or citizens hospitality? Is it because At heart strings a tug Or ,among others Gratefulness to Your iron-strong lung When you hear Ethiopian anthem sung? Is it because a secret another Deep down you harbour? Is it because the Fertility Hope and Sovereignty ideals The flag advance, Also Ethiopia's being A beacon of independence What is more The nation's renaissance Which in a curtain of mist Before your eyes dance?

An overriding national feeling
I find Myself Among common folk Amidst the real deal Throwing beers back Gulping shots Admitting false guilts Believing hateful ideals Bad things Happen when not In the right mind You can't remember What went wrong Or What went perfectly right But she remains Beautiful in my memories Absolutely breathtaking In my Lucid dreams As gorgeous as a Leonid Afremov painting Like a hailstorm in august Unexpected but Gorgeous Like you My dear

Gorgeous
*Man and woman, though different Are equal in the eyes of God. inexplicable though true but still Unacceptable for some perhaps Man is the highest of all creations Woman is the most sublime of all Ideals. God made for a man a throne, for a woman an altar. the throne exalts, The altar sanctifies. Man is the brain. woman is the heart. The brain fabricates light while The heart produces love. light fecunds, Love resuscitates. Man is the code. Woman is the gospel. The code corrects As the gospel perfects. Man is the genius while Woman is the angel. The genius is undefinable And the angel is immeasurable. Man is strong in reason but woman is invincible in her tears. Reason convinces the most stubborn Just as tears soften the hardest of mortals. Man is the ocean And the woman is the lake. The ocean has it's pearls that adorn; The lake has its poems that dazzle.* ***Man stands where the earth ends; And woman where heaven begins.***
