The gentle tone of her teaching, In wonderous melodies, orchestral knowledge from a sweet teacher, Education set by the awareness of harmonizing, delicate instruments, Wisdom and foresight, cast by no other judgement but of a conductor, Whomst hand leads to the ups and downs of the intensity, recognised Ensembling in the beauty of a sinfonietta, sounds flows uninterrupted Let the singing pendulum to your mistress's pleasure fall to the bottom, attached to the chipped illusionists mask of anticipation! To this dance the mascarade does not crack in the shadow of sound, A wise scholar would not sacrifice one topic relevant to learn to the passing time, to her students unfortune that is, cast in pure grief, A wise conductor does the same with musical notes, the story flows, With the moon high in the sky, time stands in her way, questioning her to dance with the devil amongst a distorted, whicked dark, But resillient to the end, tough and with no distraction taking her focus the director of this event finishes the creation of art, an orchestra A craftwoman of tempo and elegance always stands out after all, bringing the musical score to life. ~ Umi

The Consolation of Physics (When I Enter a Woman) Nov. 2014

This is my world, this is my world. All men and women wear eyeglasses. All truths we are tasked to seek on dusted glasses Of windowpanes behind the windowpanes. Ah, we see clearer, said the top, we see better If things are viewed on top, by top, the top Refuses to see, they refuse the refuse. Screen them, screen that. They will not see Them, believe us, trust our hindsight, we have foresight Bring us the microscope, that magnifying glass. This is our world, you’re living in our world. Wear that eyeglasses, we customized them for you.

Rage Is Not Courage
That morning, when I awoke, I had not a clue, That the things you claimed you'd never do, Were exactly what my day was leading too, Though, as we shared that bed, my alarm was right on cue, And as I got up, I noticed I smelled like you. I told my best friend about that night, That for once, holding someone was comforting, felt right, Laying there, with you clinging to me so tight, Was the first time intimacy didn't come with a shock of fright. But, of course, the truth comes out, Stunned, standing, the visage of a lout, So lost in all that's come about. That afternoon, when I got home, what was I to do? So many thoughts, so many feelings to get through, I turned on the shower, watching the dancing water spew, And, just before the water touched me; deja vu, I noticed that I smelled just like you. This couldn't stand, and I scrub and washed till I felt alright, Dirt, regret, and your scent wash away in the dim daylight At last I didn't smell like that night, And didn't reek of lack of foresight. Now, I'm left with only an internal emotional bout, Wondering if I can even shake this doubt, To decide whether or not to keep you in, or out.

Today I stopped to imagine If hindsight were foresight, love languages always matched, and needs were always met If we never hurt each other or let each other down and if distance, time or death couldn’t separate If… If only… How rich and beautiful the tapestry of our connections would be

On Turning her up in her Nest with the Plough Wee, sleekit, cow’rin’, tim’rous beastie, O what a panic’s in thy breastie! Thou need na start awa sae hasty, Wi’ bickering brattle! I *** be laith to rin an’ chase thee Wi’ murd’ring pattle! I’m truly sorry man’s dominion Has broken nature’s social union, An’ justifies that ill opinion Which makes thee startle At me, thy poor earth-born companion, An’ fellow-mortal! I doubt na, whiles, but thou may thieve; What then? poor beastie, thou maun live! A daimen-icker in a thrave ‘S a sma’ request: I’ll get a blessin’ wi’ the lave, And never miss’t! Thy wee bit housie, too, in ruin! Its silly wa’s the win’s are strewin’: And naething, now, to big a new ane, O’ foggage green! An’ bleak December’s winds ensuin’ Baith snell an’ keen! Thou saw the fields laid bare and waste An’ weary winter comin’ fast, An’ cozie here, beneath the blast, Thou thought to dwell, Till, crash! the cruel coulter past Out thro’ thy cell. That wee bit heap o’ leaves an’ stibble Has cost thee mony a weary nibble! Now thou’s turned out, for a’ thy trouble, But house or hald, To thole the winter’s sleety dribble An’ cranreuch cauld! But, Mousie, thou art no thy lane In proving foresight may be vain: The best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men Gang aft a-gley, An’ lea’e us nought but grief an’ pain, For promised joy. Still thou art blest, compared wi’ me! The present only toucheth thee: But, oh! I backward cast my e’e On prospects drear! An’ forward, tho’ I canna see, I guess an’ fear!

Foresight- 10 Words
Seventeen years ago America was shaken to the core. Since not too long after that We've been involved in a non-stop war. Homeland security Became an issue that since then Hoped to assure Americans That such attacks won't happen again. During the past seventeen years Many measures have been taken To make us safe; however, it's time For sleeping minds to reawaken. Lacking foresight, our president Has gone after the people who Have worked to make us safe. The man Doesn't seem to have a clue. Discrediting investigators, Removing them from key positions, And pulling security clearances Because of paranoid suspicions Will only make us vulnerable To future terrorist attacks. Watch how his Republican friends In Congress support him. Political hacks! The president also hates When investigators eye American involvement with The Russian mafia. We know why. It's hard to watch as the president-- With almost each careless endeavor-- Stupidly goes out of his way To make us more unsafe than ever. -by Bob B (9-11-18)

The door to my heart Was always left ajar In hopes that some lovely soul Would make himself at home. I should have had The foresight To keep it closed And lock it tight When you arrived; A charming thief In the dead of night.

The Thief
I don’t understand you You’re not like me I walk with caution You’re flying free I sit alone You yell out loud I hide away You stand tall and proud I thought you were shallow That you lacked a heart In one night, all those things shot away like a dart Then the very next day I had to take it all back You made the same mistake Same foresight you lack You’re contradictory Just a flip of a page From abrasive; young-minded To older than age I still don’t understand you We’re not even close But I hope someday I get you When it matters the most.

I Don’t Understand
it is one desire I have kept away it is there behind Revenge a jealous sister she is there her hair black as vanilla eyes cold and numb she taunts and pulls to reveal the flickering foresight of what is capable what is expected center stage she quivers “Revenge is a thought” “Revenge is a coward” “let me act” “perform” ****** She pulls ****** She yanks pulling at the very thread of desire her sound is dark yet sweet a howl screaming for embrace a performance rhythmically polished with saber and dagger tip toe and pivot she performs the act the act of revenge

Heed these words, write them upon the tablet of your mind for I have returned. When you finally come to the point in your life and comprehend that the dreams with which you have been bestowed are to be used as a blueprint, you then and only then will win remarkable success in what ever calling that you adopt. You will begin to visualize things with a much greater understanding and you will experience sights stranger than you have ever seen before. You will know that these new visions are all true, for you will see that you have been given the ability to pick out and notice clusters of confirmations and on an imaginary scale. The fear of premonitions and ignoring notable occurrences by dismaying them all off as if they are just figments of your imagination is to be avoided. It is not out of random chance, the thought that things are bound to line up from time to time and for no apparent reason or that evolution had a major impact on us to evolve into begins to recognize pattern recognition, but rather, it is to be construed as if you have been blessed with the gift of foresight and you will notice that you are able to think and speak things into existence. Never again will you live with the fear of the unknown for you will know all. The truth of all things will manifest themselves and be disclosed to you in a vivid clear contrast. There will be many people who will find it extremely difficult to interpret what is being explained to them and in the process they will then start to display that they are trapped within there own gridlocked mind and be confused with just your mere presence. You will find that people who do not understand you will then try to get you to conform to what they see, ignore them. Life is but an enigma, one that is full of complex-ed riddles, when you accept to follow your dreams and with an open objective you will then have the opportunity to harness all its power and in return all the pieces of the puzzle will be spread out for you for your taking. Once you find the first piece, you then will be given the license required to take part of this phenomenon so you can complete life's grander picture found outside the ivory tower. You will know with all certainty that you are not dreaming and that what you are witnessing is not a mirage, that is until, the silver cord be loosed, after that, when death finds its way to sting and the grave can then claim its victory, welcome and accept a Re"quies'cat In Pa'ce. As always, Welcome to the show!

foresight
it doesn't matter whether you're on the edge of seventeen filled to the brim with life, or old and grey with eighty six years' worth of stories— we have all been built by the same golden hands of time and carved by the strength of memories. a natural longing for dreams and foresight propel us to move forward despite the storms of the heart or of life itself, in all its ugly, glorious grandeur. so take time to celebrate you: your revolutions around the sun, your tears, all the pieces of your glass heart shattered on the floor, your laughter, your words, and all your golden days. **you are, and always will be.**

celebrate yourself
Stuck in just another graceless night, The darkness has never been so bright, Falling down from an immeasurable height, Afraid of the fall or the flight? There is but a dark road forward, With not many bright souls to light the journey onward, Standing there in silences awkward, Cowering beneath the shadows like cowards, Afraid of all the demons and the horrors. Just another graceless night, Desperate for some foresight, Stuck in this all consuming fight, Forgetting we are our own dark, we are own light.

Graceless nights
Shades of yellow cast on our dreams Skin burning through layers of sunscreen When gifts of foresight weigh on our beings Let great powers grow evermore carefree To satisfy eternity. Empirical evidence against the empire’s truth Makes humankind akin to a neurotic fool Who comes to think that it’ll always nullify Oh for we all must die! Young and old both playing their games Seduced by the baits of short-term gains Unable to afford the bail out of prison Wait for great powers to relieve this addiction To satisfy eternity. Spawns of decadence in the wake of our new tools Let us deter suicide with the poisons that soothe They all say everything will fall, to act seems futile Oh for we all shall die! Whether in shame or in desire Must we forget all we’ve acquired For yesterday’s pride, tomorrow’s glory Shake hands with friends and slain the enemy To satisfy eternity.

adjacent at my right, your thoughts with you are, strewed in opposition, calling out my name, i am the child, you are the adult, why wont i understand, for i have no experience, no life lived, my intrigue provoked, ideal foresight, but that, all they are, questions to actions, tell me im wrong, just an ignorant soul, for i must see the world, the way that you do, and for the sake of the horse, hope the legs can support, the stead in which you ride, for it must be cold, one thousand jen high, should i bow at your feet? as my opinion indifferent, blasphemer, heathen, tell me to seal my mouth, say "I dont listen", over again, you never heard the words, "your hurting my chest", stepping on my lungs, hearing one phrase of words, "you dont listen", but i heard every word, whether i agree or not, is another lore, but ill admit im wrong, will you do the same?, now i'll hope you know, i judge you not, i love that you have opinion, for you are only human, even if the whip strikes my back, ill never stop, continue your attack, for these are my thoughts, you made me this way, you cant change my brain.

She was a Phantom of delight When first she gleamed upon my sight; A lovely Apparition, sent To be a moment’s ornament; Her eyes as stars of Twilight fair; Like Twilight’s, too, her dusky hair; But all things else about her drawn From May-time and the cheerful Dawn; A dancing Shape, an Image gay, To haunt, to startle, and way-lay. I saw her upon nearer view, A Spirit, yet a Woman too! Her household motions light and free, And steps of virgin-liberty; A countenance in which did meet Sweet records, promises as sweet; A Creature not too bright or good For human nature’s daily food; For transient sorrows, simple wiles, Praise, blame, love, kisses, tears, and smiles. And now I see with eye serene The very pulse of the machine; A Being breathing thoughtful breath, A Traveller between life and death; The reason firm, the temperate will, Endurance, foresight, strength, and skill; A perfect Woman, nobly planned, To warn, to comfort, and command; And yet a Spirit still, and bright With something of angelic light.

To A Mouse (By Rabbie Burns)
Seven score and eleven years after the Emancipation Proclamation; I'd like to thank my community for finally acknowledging his memory.   Wanting to view historical document written by Rev. Martin Luther King, logged on and took a virtual trip to our ever expanding National Archives. His views on day of historic speech, "Heartwarming to see this marvelous, gigantic group of people here from all over the nation to give witness." I'm giving credit to ABC news for being allowed to hear the man's words from his own mouth without having to read them in black and white. There's no argument in regards to race differences and that we the people, have miles to go before we are at similar mindset in climate of opinion. Spotlight should shine brightly on how far we've come as we the people, away with all the negatives of no hopes of ever achieving racial harmony. If MLK were alive today he'd see many positive changes and would see his dream is still alive and well though we have miles to journey's end. Yes, Dr. Martin Luther King, you are appreciated as we honor your day. I have many reasons to thank you and all who paid the ultimate sacrifice. My children are allowed to attend any public school they wish without fear. I can now sit in the front of the bus without fear of arrest or a mob beating.   There are no laws preventing me from front door entry of public buildings. Thanks so much! I'm free to date or marry any person of any race I choose. The list above is just a small sampling of all the changes his life evoked. I'm thankful he was gifted to our planet in period of time he was needed. He is missed by the planet and those of us who are grateful that he existed. Dr. Martin Luther King was true Visionary with foresight to see great things.
