"enlight" poems
He is the sun to the lonely sky,
She is the wild wolf of the night.
A quiver in hand and a bow on back,
She makes her way while leading the pack.
Harmonizing to the tunes of the golden lyre,
He is the God whom all admire.
With the silver bow and the golden sword,
Defeating the Python he forged his path forward.
Apollo is the light to this glooming world,
Artemis is the moon-light that glowed and burned.
The twins of Zeus both fierce and strong,
Through different destinies stayed together all along.
The Goddess of the hunt walks with pride,
While the God of Poetry lives to enlight.
Medicine mixes together with wild,
When the sun and moon in the cosmos align.

Can you determine the Cause of this Spite
By Twin Connections of Mistakes long past?
That which must be Forgiven; And Enlight
To soothe those Swollen Muscles at long last
I think there was a Page which left unread
Caused many Translations to poison us
That Philosophy: If Thoughts can be dead
Then reinstate that Puppet in a Bus
Who knew all his Movements were Concepts formed
And those Ring-Joints dictate his every Move
But this: Illusion and Concept conformed
Thinking these are actual Gifts from Above.
My Point, is that all these Frictions we had
Were Real Illusions; And Concepts bad.

The cypher was real, in fact it was authentic
Everything I mentioned, no doubt I meant it
Though I discuss topics that aren't debated
Everybody in the crowd smiled and related
I guess that's another one of life's contradictions
Kinda like the Qur'an I got for Christmas
But my mama encourages the pursuit of knowledge
Whether it be at work, in life, or in college
We understand the meaning of perspective
And if you don't you should at least respect it
Cause though you rap, and I write poems
We both have the power to enlight domes
The two are closer than it may seem
It can be underground or mainstream
Just be true to you, and be humble too
There's no telling in things you might do.

I see you put a ring on her finger, so you made her your wife
So she's the one you want with the rest of your life.
And that's alright baby.
You chose the better woman for you
But does better make it right baby?
I can't tell you about her heart because I've never been in it.
But I can tell you about the beat of your heart when you hit it.
And when our eyes unite
The fires of desire enlight the flames to ignite
Damsel in distress
You used to be my shining knight
Despite the shadows lingering over the battlefield indicating this might be too dull for you to fight.
So now we just avoid eye contact outright.
But baby you can't tell me that her ***** is this tight.
She's got a maze of expiration dates between her thighs, and I wasn't lying when I told you that I'd never let you out of sight, and I won't.
But don't look me in the eyes and say you love me if you don't.
It's okay baby.
If you need to get away I got a place for you to stay baby.
Foreplay in the doorway,
I got a couple roles for you to portray
While she's upstairs sleeping
Say,
Remember those days baby?
You'll always have a special place in my heart because you've always had a special place in that dark pink treasure chest.
I gave you the keys so you could come and go as you please but it seems we left a few things unaddressed.
Reassess:
It's mine too.
Sharing under the protection of my bed sheets,
The complexion of your ********
The collection of our affection,
There has been redirection to our connection.
There is no love in making love if we're using *** to untie knots.
Tell me what's the point of holding on to something that is not.
But I'll hold on to your memory.

i write to enlight
myself to survive
the path i chose
to have in life
so i scream
please
who could hear?
or see?
or relate
to the kid who
hides alone
at the break
high on
the steps
that are made
from within
his soul and craved
in an art form
so he could have a home
to bear the storm
coming to reform
the norms
of his instincts
Masked
so he keeps distant
Blind
trying to keep a link with the
Mystics
and it works
since it's
from within
the layers of the skin
that makes my head spin
every time i remember where i have been.

Eternity is reached when your thoughts
Find every question answered
And every emotion dissolve into peace
When you randomly hold every lesson life brought
In time with the rhythm of HIS
Love-
Eternity eludes the soul still yet
For life deems present on a bet
And past is stained to never forget
In the future hidden
The evolvement into enlight
Where you were created
In
Eternity

Where do society's extremists abide?
Rallies and Racists go side by side.
BBQs offer up well-done bigots;
On Jordan's lap dance the zealots.
Dogmatists rant in wild front rows,
True believers don't put on such shows?
Sexists cower in coastal Compounds,
Sects marry often in Salt Lake towns.
Troglodytes tan beneath southern suns.
Sepratists hold their final stand
On this side of The Rio Grande;
Fanatics occupy far Left and Right,
Partisans Op Eds are meant to enlight.
Mysoginists grab till they have blisters,
Huns and louts date brothers and sisters.
Philistines take our private spaces,
And whistle-blowers can't show their faces.
Of all the ists I know and abhor,
The musicist is a bigoted boor;
A connoisseur I abjure,
Who chooses tunes he insists
Are superior than my interests,
And disses tunes I like best.
So now I'll lay my needle down,
I've turned the table that goes round,
And plead musicists won't hesitate
To enjoy the tunes... don't discriminate.

Our World
Is our delicate time and space;
it drains us, yet sews
all its wisdom in lieu.
As an honorable thief,
does it give and it take;
yet, the World, it refuses
to learn or give due.
The World dons scarves
as dark as the night
as to peddle its eye
round a vanity, fair.
These beautiful veils
of deceptive insight
do shamelessly shade
the reality there.
And, so, the World speaks
a fallacious demise,
and helpless are we
but to learn for a season.
So, painfully teething,
oft made is the choice
that's ironically borne
by the curse of it's
R E A S O N .
Our Life
it is fickle, and its hurdles, astute,
are hidden from sight,
lest we brace for an err.
Erectors of kingdoms
and heroes of lore
have knelt in submission,
though truly, they bear
as successors of wisdom;
and, hashing the mind
will lessen their fears
and their Love beatify.
For, whereas our Love
will instill in us purpose,
this World, of its greed
shall indemnify.
Blind to this study
are those who are jaded
by a constant
societal scrutiny—
what spawns of a whisper,
one so oft mistakes
as factual precept
or a mystery.
And, as nature's allowed,
through the pain of what's seen,
born of this mindset's
a fear that
M I S L E A D S .
Our Fear
can be weakness or a tool to enlight,
and those of the weakness
shall suffer the blitz;
the absolute's waning
shall surely bevex
such disdaining and hopeless
a reckless dismiss.
Misplacing this fear
makes a host most deranged
and the doorway to
failure falls wide.
The fear of critique,
and of silence and death,
all are but wrought
of the fear of one's life.
For lesser is known,
such siring mistrust,
though, all but uncommon, herein.
And, those who fear
are as ignorant sheep,
but those who do not
fall astray to the spin.
Yet, let ignorance be noble;
for denying Love's endeavor
be ****** as boiling waters
F O R E V E R .
Our People
fall short of the brilliance of babes
to pursue a suggestion—
a swindling so grand.
So, of what mystic gall,
so bold to demand,
has the World to serve
as the Heart of man?
The wise do not place
fear in death or the World;
they take solace in faith
and fear not this affair.
Their fear has been placed
in the face of greatness,
relieving an ignorant
soul of despair.
For only in death
is there absence of question,
and far beyond crossing
will peace enrobe the wise.
So, sharpen your motive
and look to the skies;
for alongside the answer,
therein, lies the

Two point one million kilometres per hour
Is the speed at which we flow, in Space
As we live our exotic eventful lives
On seemingly motionless grounds
Firm and solid beneath our feet.
One thousand six hundred seventy five
Kilometres per hour is the speed of those grounds,
A spherical dancer pirouetting endlessly to enlight
The marvellous show alternating day and night.
Rotations we do not feel, dizziness incomplete.
As speed is constant, momentum numbs
Our senses, though it is unable to deceive
The winds and ocean currents, only tangible proof
Of our movement, incessantly blowing and running
Yet bound to Earth for neither to escape.
Air deflecting between high and low
Pressures, to move extra heat elsewhere,
Balancing temperatures, to talk about the weather,
Offering seasons to render
Our terrestrial little planet an inhabitable one.
Elegant harmonisation, Coriolis Effect,
Universe orchestrating sophisticated laws
Setting the rare conditions, for wind to blow,
For us to exist.

The messages on the pavement YOU don't care to read,
the hidden truths YOU don't dig to see,
the careless lives YOU lead,
the empty promises YOU plead,
the self-righteousness YOU exceed,
will lead YOU down a selfish road to nowhere.
This is YOUR fight, light, plight, right, and sight.
ENLIGHT, and goodnight.

But why, after a Year's Half-Pie debate

Still, your Latined Face we entempt to bait

How can we, for such Troubled Mercy's Will
One day these Settled Chains we liberate
One day, when all these Windy Flags be still
One sole HER our Acceptance contemplate.

Then lighter it be for us to Expect.

Pessimism has led him nowhere in life,
Rather than succeeding in life, he finds himself stuck in demise,
Feelings of deprivation have not but shattered his pride,
Sheltering on his flaunts, he is far more distinct than delight,
Vandalism of his thoughts wipe away a lot but suffice,
Atrocious eyes replenish all his sight,
Darkness before his eyes, leading to suffocation, consequently paralyzed,
Rigid hold and strengthened heart just hold on tight,
Imprudence never lies in soul but lurks behind the night,
As daylight conquers the spacious roon making everything so ever bright,
That rage and devastation which once at its epitome and height,
Disappears fading slowly and gradually in white,
Memories a paradox, growing vexation, if I'm right,
Proceeds to grasp hold on with all might,
As again the sun sets, changing your true form alight,
Revenge can evade the divinity of a knight,
Bringing venganence and enmity in a catastrophic fight,
Obstinate expressions, recalcitrant furry full of fright,
So much to normalize and then fortunately enlight.

Those stars you see are dead
Only blackness there instead
Sights that enlight hearts and heads
Are finite delights we misread
And those TV shows and media spiel
They're real profits for fake ideals
Our lives are dull, at worst ordeals
And to appeal to the way humans can feel
Cuts the thickest, if slickest, business deal
So we divide ourselves into groups and sides
Find the one that best describes what's 'inside'
Who we are is defined by who we stand beside
With as much control of the pride or snide chides implied
As we have over landslides or mountainsides or the tides
In the age of the original, the individual
We shun the biblical, the ritual, the miracle
And turn to the visual,
A new kind of digital Fictional
Where the miserable are invisible
The political are cynical
The habitual criminals reciprocal
And the principles hypocritical
Those stars you see are dead
That's what the phycisist said
Even sky has us misled
When the truth that's spreaded is dreaded
The truth we bred is embedded
The easily read are easily led

Which road should I take?
that lead me to the place
where I can fulfill my Destiny,
where i can find, What's inside me?
What is the work, I should do?
For which I born to
What will please the hunger inside me?
What is my success key?
What's inside me?
Countless stars glitter in sky
in this darkest night.
But which of them will be the Sun?
that made me Enlight.
I want to know!
Stand out of row
To find the true me
And find, what's inside me?
