She seems pretty queer Yes she does Something odd Something peculiar Is it in her insouciance Is it in her audacity Is it in her pirouettes Spun with such vivacity Is it in her defiance Is it in her nonrepentance Is it in her reveling so free A form full of glee Sometimes impetuous All times ingenuous Aflame with passion An immersive intoxication Cracking down on this mystery A perplexing dichotomy Let's remove the misfitting pieces In sync with commonplace notions Alas what dismantling of a girl at peace with her pieces What uprooting of a girl at home in her body

At Peace With Her Pieces
Mania. Everything was good when you were with me. I felt normal. The chains bolted to my eyelids where magically gone, like the money in your bank account after a heavy, drunken, stupor & forthright gambling spree. The spear in my side that your twin brother, depression, threw inside me was no longer twisting up my insides. Thank you. This feels like a goodbye letter but I'm actually trying to hold on to you. You give me life. Your twin takes it away and he rash-burns my face in it. I was accomplishing all the things; skipping from one stone to the next without feat. "Flutter your wings and dance," is your motto. But like all good things, you drive me away, knowing that I'll see you again. Try as I might, I remain faithful to you, but you commit adultery every week. Sometimes you demand my time, even when I'm low. I cry for hours with your natural dichotomy, not because I can't decide--I can--but because you and your twin rip me apart in twain, changing my reality as sure as the rain falls in the Amazon. The demons call out to me, whispering evil into my mind. I believe every evil thing when I am not armed with your brilliance. I lose that perspective, every time, and sometimes immediately. Your twin brother and cousin visit me early in the morning right before bed time. If my doubts and fears are real, then my mind's eye is experiencing a real reality, and thus I am as I feel, like a plastic bag tumbling in the wind. Yet, everyone reminds me that I am but a joke and a comic, one which not even you can trust. The biggest asset I lose when you choose to cheat on me is your energy--that precious flow that bears my creative passion. But now I am barren, an unfit conduit that is incapable of maintaining that flow. The demon upon me powerfully weaves its tapestry of sludge that encases my mind. My mind, it's the only thing I have left. And yet, I can never trust it. You've lied to me before and you'll lie to me in the future. But for now, I'll have to make do with your half-truths. Until next time.

*I look me in the eye Then look around me I instantaneously heave A loud silent sigh of relief It’s a heartwarming realization That mine insecurities Are a mere drop in the ocean in the expanse dichotomy of inconveniencing cicumstance That most people willingly or unwillingly Find themselves in A silent inward prayer is all That I hurriedly mumble To He the perfect engineer of life itself.*

Unspoken gratitude*
she would crawl in bed and tell me  she loved me but her eyes were cold and closed like the broken fluorescent that gave off blue sparks she reminded me of an abandoned church what used to be a place where so much happiness and depression was tied together by faith and hope was now a simple reminder of how even the place of seemingly unfaltering hope dies  she was a false dichotomy of existence always present infinitely absent and i could see her try her hardest to make me feel like she was still alive and trying  but every  word she said was her own eulogy

When we think about the choices in our lives When we fight and we bicker and become bitter When we think there is only power or powerlessness If we can realize that there is power and powerlessness Then haven't we began to acquire consciousness In that instance haven't we began the process of choice That there is those who have not have given birth to this consciousness To those who have only lived powerlessness And know nothing else Haven't you owed them part of your consciousness That you have ceased to be one of them Or your mere power has denied one of them That there is no choice for them Because they haven't birthed that consciousness And if you choose power they'll remain powerless Because within you there is no loyalty, right? It is a choice predicated by an erroneous concept of self-preservation It is a treacherous dichotomy; doesn't make sense This is not an indictment of your desire not to suffer Because surely to hold power would cease your suffering But it is this type of power that thrives on the proliferation of powerlessness This conceptual understanding of what it means to have power That is not what we've come learn, but readily ascribe to That a mind and body can cultivate power That can be harvested, shared, communal For the sole purpose of the survival of the other, not the self That that can survive in this world is impossible Its antithetical to the modes of production In which our societies operate and thrive How can workers begin to derive power from their collective efforts How can workers' purchasing power equal the power of the production of their labor How can any community in any corner of the world escape The misanthropic missions of first world free trade capitalism When will we reclaim our escaping humanity When will we cease to keep feeding the system with our minds, our bodies, our labor How much longer can we become fodder, scraps, waste feeding the machine And don't think that you are safe when you have made it When you have entered the circle of dominance Because it is then when you will loose your humanity or die It is at that apex of power that your presence becomes Just as dispensable as that of the powerless Because to maintain that circle of dominance Requires a total conversion to misanthropy The rigor with which your power will be required To keep proliferating powerlessness will give no break And when you become useless, it will replace you So that we must realize that the modes of production That we allow to exploit us In powerlessness, or the semblance of power Can never safeguard our humanity How much further will we allow power to be concentrated So that soon we ourselves, or our children won't have a choice Won't have the consciousness of power just powerlessness

Dichotomy - BAD and GOOD
I notice the tiny pulse of frustration in the back of his neck I notice the way that he sighs and slumps over I notice how his elbows splay out so his face bobs lightly over his desk A buoy dancing over a wave I notice the way he glances at his friends before he answers I notice the way he shapes his mouth into a grin before he speaks I notice how his eyes squint a little when he laughs I notice how they dull when he doesn’t want to listen I notice how his shoulders hunch when refuses to hear I notice the boredom in the lines of his back as he considers I notice the way his leg jiggles as he bounces his foot lightly The ever-present dichotomy of professionalism fighting immaturity Of a thirst to learn, fighting against ignorance, justice calling I notice this inner battle of boyish nonchalance and masculine defensiveness I notice how his eyes dart lightly over his chosen comrades before he writes again I notice the way he presses his forehead into his hand As though he could pull ideas out And read his thoughts printed back on his palm I notice the consistent rubbing against his face with his fingers Phalanges to stimulate the thought process I notice the hesitation before his pen scratches the page Piercing the paper with words he must call his own I notice the claim of responsibility and the toll it takes on his physique I notice the fatigue of struggling to create To feel, to create, to feel, to feel I notice, throughout all the time I’ve been noticing him He has not noticed me once

Today heard I a train, while I smoke my cigarette, I heard a train. The rumbles came trundling over mossing steel street bars, the hooves of an iron horse shattering glass floors- pebbles bickering  like stone woodpeckers on the grounds to come. The wind shudders, and apologizes for the frost on the leaves, the cracks in the ground and the holes in the sky, my cigarette part blur, awkwardness so comfortable, this plastic train i recreate, moments in-between, where we lay down to day-listen. The kinsmen that forgot call blacksmith, scared with his welded skin, protection in battle, drunken dichotomy, a hero ***** dans l’amour. As great the fall of king, the fall of next in line. The only thing to have moved quicker with age, time. Lest we forget, the blacksmith here reside;(unfinished) While the angel hath walk, with long grey and black web moth wings, stalking its sleeping prey, his eyes wide open back, watching the angel pace, infesting the air with despicable knots, its dangerous to stare, but a contest never started is a contest never won, and into the eyes of hell the blacksmith hast stared- to the foot of his bed. Where a three headed dog flap its ice wings to keep hell cold. These nights in particular had been an awful one, and again the tapping, again the train.

Blacksmith-
Our blood is golden wine, I’ve been told to try sweeter blends. My cups lay in my favorite number but the unknown in my shadow still stand. Inside could be my salty songs for a memory that never ends. I pull you down underwater to see just how far you can be from the sand. Eyes wide open to the flame of your being; It’s confidence and conflict that drag me out of my stalemate. A torch to gaze upon something I know to be worth seeing. Whether together or apart we still crawl the same trail to feel and be something great. The oleander and roses course through our veins like the wax that holds together our armor. We’re meant to grow our vines past the heavens. That’s the place that holds serenity and storms that you never have to barter; Where admiration never leads to lessons. To be strong through our valleys when we feel like we’ll never climb back up. In this garden is the place where I can accept your oceans dichotomy. No matter how many wands, no matter how many cups; I’ll accept it completely but of course cautiously. All the eyes can see all the burning in my hands. What could be sparked by nature feels easier to light on my own. Is it gasoline I smell on demand Or has the apple already grown?

Alleged Dichotomy - Notes from a Doctor
The dichotomy of purgatory is sprinkled with the delights and disciplines of a fretful uncertainty and steam locomotives can sound menacing when their pistons seek to establish torque on those rails of pursued destination with mesmerizing force. I know that time is like a fondling excitement, where constellations of perceived energy fields become intellectually categorized into mechanical parts of a metaphysical ****** Universal parameters of death may generate mischievous laughter, which resound throughout the silent galaxies of cosmological meadows. I have to say that geometrical co-ordinates automatically invoke thoughts of plain paper and hot chocolate – small figments of homosapien pastures where grazing is not a realistic occurrence. As we perceive the eternal impressions of epistemological nihilism, let us play the game of religious patience on this checkered board of architectural bliss.

Contiguity Continuities
My feelings on the world are a complex dichotomy. If I could control the world, my rule would be to control nothing. To give freedom and agency to everyone and let every culture and kind shine as they do and **** superiority and focus on growth, not ********** But, not all people aren't as communally minded as that. And though in theory I could change the rules, I can't change people. In its own way, that's beautiful. The visceral strength and resiliency of humanity fascinates me, with the chaotic undertones that lie beneath every eye. I love the spectrum of pain and brilliance it brings. But it also makes a utopian world of understanding and lack of control impossible to keep people safe; because never will there be a human race that doesn't at least have some people craving absolute control. I think this dichotomy within myself parallels my standing with humanity very well. There is something on most every end I can find fascinating: free will, selflessness, unpredictability, tenacity. But also I can never seem to be pleased with how humanity could be but never amount to. Not that it gives me much trouble. I've always kept humanity at an arm's length, choosing books and stories over the flesh-bags in front of my face. The only thing I ever struggled with was not being normal with my human relationships, and trying to make my methods match. My methods won't match because I might as well be an alien for all I care about directly interacting with humanity. Yet, I love humanity, in a way. I could write about human transcendence and growth until I die. I am madly in love with human potential. But I don't love humans. I don't love a species that muscle arms its way into dominance and can be arrogant and small-minded. After all we've managed to accomplish, and we're still start wars over skin color and scapegoating? Its laughable, in a way. I suppose I look at humanity as if I was an alien scientist. I have no way of measuring things or conducting research because I'm foreign, but I can see the greatness in their eyes and am floored by it. Yet I also see the violence in their eyes and am repelled by it. The most tragic, push and pull love of my life has been for this species. I've learned lately I'm okay with being alien. But its strange to find a foothold in a world where I feel constantly at odds and different. But I like strange, so I think its what works best. Between humanity and me, things are complicated. Things are wonderful and painful and all worth the while in its own, ****** way. I suppose all I have is my words and I'll share them, and humanity can listen if it will. I hope it will. I hope it can help people who feel like aliens too, and maybe then being an alien and a human can be easier. But for those things, we'll just have to see.

I am a vast dichotomy of tasteful ideals. I desire to dream the dreams most people deterred. Paintbrushes touch canvases then lift as if unsure if they should grace the world with their beauty or hold back with chagrin. Bodies burrow under blankets with banned books instead of men. I warm myself with beverages in a coffee mug on a rainy day rather than a body lying next to me.

Hail to Thee, Immortal Three Knowledge we sing on laud Aristotle, Plato, and Socrates Philosophy, to be human awed Teach through time, consciously Nod not, what others fraud Socrates taught, Divine Being God not of brutal Athens’ passions Entity of Beauty, Truth Seeing Goodness unseen in day’s fashions Soul for unalloyed agreeing Lessons humanities’ compassion Talk eternal justice, everlasting life Socrates’ Sovereign Right of Reason Clearly mind deceived sense’s strife Invincible perfection be God’s season Thus, our key to knowledge ever rife Priests who find this, absolute treason No church or Socratic school A barefoot man roamed to teach Socrates mocked for looking a fool His speech not one to simply preach Plato witnesses a martyr’s drool Cruel hemlock, words did so breach Handsome aristocratic youth Plato Followed Socrates’ Eternal Wisdom But soon to find his own credo In Medara to find Euclid and freedom Egyptian geometry to provide dado To Plato life, expression; not a system Eternally an artist, Plato did develop Philosophic circle in Academus groves Bring Athens, world knowledge envelop Discretions of sensations, be not oaths What man may be, an animal jealous Plato’s allegorical cave found in droves As Plato once be Socrates’ disciple So too, to Plato would Aristotle be Passing comprehension archetypal Successions of genius’ visions do see Aristotle taking it step further, as vital To science of hands-on discovery And this is where we see a parting Of two distinctly opposing philosophies Plato being at odds, with science starting Aristotle’s truth, finding no apologies Things not happening by chance imparting Frivolity of duopoly, dichotomy to Socrates But a new era has surely now dawned Science exploring an invisible atom And the seen and unseen correspond So to Aristotle’s, Plato’s, Socrates’ datum Brilliant new philosophies have spawned An abstract notion of conceived stratum

Let's just say mom had two sides. She was a true dichotomy, a great example of the perfect yin yang mother. On one side, she did the best she could, clothed us & fed us, cleaned up our cuts, did a bit of homework & taught us about Jesus. On the other side, she did her worse. She lied, connived, ****** a couple of my high school friends & showed us the devil.

YinYang Mother (Mom)
split mind dichotomy between my head and feet running away, leave towards the sea explore the depths, explore me the shore is suffocating and time is draining my ankles feel burdened carrying all this dead weight let me float into the unknown let me scream at the waves let me unfold let me be reborn again

Red faced and wasted I saw you naked And fell in love With your ancient body Gone is the impulse to run And all i can do now Is to write simply Lies and truth Mixed together Like oil and vinegar We are fumigating Our own bodies Remove these carbon copies And quietly daydream About the faces of lost Summer lovers Fundraisers say goodbye To yesterday's vacations Just as we long to cry We catch ourselves Smiling for a moment What do the turtles wish to communicate Are we awake in our shells Or have we fallen into the spell of limitation Consternation and ************ Facts and figures receive their adulation While we attract only tender triangulations Please finish up your investigation I blame you for instigating this comedy A catalyst of abomination and dichotomy Which followed me into retirement Let's give banquets back to the government And return to ancient lands Devoted to camels and drunken apologies It's apocryphal Pornographic phantasmagoria Fantastic fan-fictions Describing sacredly sadistic rituals Glorious duality Radically alters our expectations Yet manages to satisfy your frustrations In dissimilar situations We liberate our agitation and consternation Over magazines and barnacles We are more conspicuous Than an empty gap in the sky Made by two constellations Taking a long vacation Intrepid sailors raise their sails And navigate by stars and compasses Renaissance dancers are porous instigators They initiate our imitations We dream of political sovereignty To remediate these tragedies I breathe warfare and cleanse the air Of apathetic non-negotiaters Harboring criminals like butterflies Sometimes the means do justify your eyes Targets never argue And bullets never lie Finances and fiancées Certainly have some value Yet we underrate our skies Miles of lost continents Drift out from your skin We begin an embargo Hoping in the future we will win Metaphysical furniture Effects the state of mind you're in The record players turned down But you heat me up to begin

SUFFERING was a word invented by a man with a silver spoon and fork, with a nice brain that matched their junk a brain that didn’t whisper i love yous in the middle of the night when you’re trying just to get some sleep but your mind echoes self-love where you can’t get it. and that word is whispered to the back of my head to the front of my chest inbetween my thighs like maybe you’ll make a difference if you express sympathy for a body, just a body that oozes what you would call misfortune. but i am not your headline; people like me are not your story, you put me down with black ink on white paper and your dichotomy echoes the insincerity in your sincerity the way you cannot understand that when you put transgender or gay you expect it to mean tragedy. i am not your tragedy **** do not chain me to a stereotype i am not “your trans* friend,” a unicorn that has been trapped and ****** of silver blood, my ****** chains me to a history of hostility and scars that i have risen ABOVE. i see your face fall when i say my body is beautiful, and hear your hitching breath when i tell you i am just like you a being with a body who is trying to see the glory in mismatched parts imperfect scars and i am not SUFFERING i grabbed the word from the dictionary and shoved it down your throat.
