"corinth" poems
there once was this guy named oedipus of whom it was prophesied that his mother he'd marry, his father he'd **** at a place where three roads were tied. his mother and father discovered their fate and tried to dispose of their son but he ended up in corinthian lands and their efforts were all undone. then a drunk guy ruined his happy facade and to an oracle oedipus went who repeated to him the dank prophesy; he fled corinth, not taking a cent. while on his sojourn away from his home he encountered a party royale which rudely pushed him off of the road, and angered he slaughtered them all. then from that blood soaked three-way path he nonchalantly flew not knowing that his father was the man that he just slew. he continued his journey until he reached thebes where a sphinx held the city hostage so oedipus solved the bird-cat's lame rhyme and released thebes from its ******* as a reward, the people of thebes gave oedipus their widowed queen, unknowingly joining mother and son in a marriage that was unclean. after they ruled for twenty good years, during which four children came, a plague was induced by the sheltering of the man by whom was slain in searching him out, oedipus found that the murderer was really he, so long ago. the man he had killed at the place where were joined roads of three. but by finding this out, he also discovered that his wife and his mother were one. he gouged out his eyes after her suicide; in her own bedroom she was hung. as it turned out, oeddy exiled himself but the seeds of his misery were sewn. so he went to colonus and wandered around and this is the end.

I took this job down at the Corinth Mint after my marriage went on the skids, I was bored at home on the DPB* and I was sick of those two **** kids. Jace shot through with this ***** called Glauce, her name brings to mind an eye disease, and her old man wants us out of Corinth even though I got down on my knees. I feel like the serpent who was Golden Fleeced when Jason slipped the snake oil past it, but, since I've been working at the Mint, I can spot a twenty-four carat *******

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 9 Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: 10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. 12 And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus. 13 The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments. 14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: 15 Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words. 16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. 17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 19 Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick. 21 Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren. 22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.

you were built to part the ocean with your golden skin you stopped walls from crumbling and there, under this ancient bridge you understood me. i was drawn slowly through your tides but i wanted to fold into your ocean, and you came back to me: on a shimmer moon as a black hopeful rose, in dreams. you were the softer one. and i only wanted to melt into your ocean. you came back to me in my dreams and with your smile like the sea and the canal       my whole body opened

A Sonnet Of Margarine
Daniel wrote of this, one week is yet to come   Week seven-oh, to this week you will succumb   - The time of Jacob’s Troubles, of woe and pain and doom   This week will be upon you, this week is coming soon   - It will start with an invasion, after World War Three   An invasion of the aliens, you will worship them with glee   - They will bring the Man of Sin, the despot with one eye   You will take his Mark, you will take it or you’ll die   - World War Three is the destruction, destroyed is Babylon   In Atomic Fire, the Great ***** will burn and will be gone   - Jeremiah wrote of this, chapters fifty fifty-one   In just one hour, all her rot will be undone   - But you don’t have to worry, you’ll fly up in the air   You’ll meet your lovey-dovey "Geezus" [1], you won’t have a care   - You’re a lovey-dovey Kristian, you’re so holy and so pure   You’re religious **** Your doctrine is a slur   - You said the sinners prayer, so why are you still here?   Could it be your Geezus, is a lire and a queer   - Paul wrote two letters, to the Church that is at Corinth   Read the second letter…the one that you abhorreth   - Chapter number one-one, the verse is number four Read them to your Geezus, the one that you adore - What's the 7th word? [1] Are you too dumb to read? Go ahead and burn in Hell, you should have taken heed [1] 2 Cor 11:4 - For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
