Over a period of time difference of opinion leads to debate following which mutual understanding might take place. Somewhere down the line, something might click, then signs of mutual understanding will be there in offing. Mutual understanding will bring the much needed change, a change that's desired, since it also fulfills the need of hour. If mutual understanding takes place, then nothing like that since it moves in the direction of drawing a line of conclusion, which is the only reason because of which the debate commenced. If mutual understanding is still a viable option, yet far away, then it’s time to keep negotiation apart and away from been a part of the debate. Finally difference of opinion can lead to something positive and healthy, if the debate that is ensued following a difference of opinion is in the right direction, in right spirit, focus remaining on point of concern, substance with regards to what’s going on in mind is not disturbed in anyway, most importantly the debate is held on proper grounds. Difference of opinion is also a sign for something constructive, if the mind is determined to make sure that the odds which are going to come along the way will not only be handled and tackled, but also taken out and taken away from the way of getting things done. Finally it’s difference of opinion that makes team work interesting, if it is taken in the right spirit at the given moment in time.

Difference of opinion is part of teamwork
In my heart, you are an asset But in my mind, a liability You are an entry I can't forget That's slowly shaking my equity. Loving you is an understatement For a beauty's carrying value And so I made an adjustment Of the love that I must issue. But your heart had a preference For someone who's not me Who can give you more dividends Than a hopeful ordinary. All my hope was expensed For such unrecoverable loss And the business I've commenced Resulted in an opportunity cost. And so you went depreciating Ending this going concern There's this pain accumulating From a romance unearned. Now I'm left here to close All the journals I've made Correct the errors I chose For a love that I would trade.

“T'was the night before Christmas ...” and Santa was busy. The reindeer were antsy the elves in a tizzy. The missus was tending the ovens like mad And turning out cookies to make children glad. The wood chips were flying the sawdust was thick The workshop was bulging with toys from St. Nick. Contractors from Sega, Nintendo and Sony Were working on games (and a robotic pony). Iphones and Ipads (with virus removal) Were packed in their boxes and stamped "Elf Approval". Last minute touches were added with flair While elf stylists tended to Santa's white hair. Elf tailors were making some last alterations To Santa's red coat and his waist tribulations. The weather was fair as the weather-elf stated The routes were approved and departure was slated. Bells had been polished and harnesses buffed While repairs were addressed for the hoofs that were scuffed. The antlers were festooned with ribbons and bells And the reindeer were covered with elf flying spells. The clock approached midnight as Santa was seated. The countdown began as the flight crew was greeted. H-hour neared and the tension was growing. Outside it grew cloudy and then, began snowing. But Santa just grinned as the weather-elf winced. "Don't worry, my friend.   Our time has commenced." For the weather was nothing to Santa's conveyance. His reindeer and sleigh were immune to"delay-ance". With a whirl of his whiskers and a flick of his wrist The reindeer were launched in a flash of white mist. And I heard him exclaim through his teleport ray: "ALERT TSA. Tell 'em I'm on my WAY!"

A mock pack of sea dogs Lay on the hot, white shore; Their wrinkles said They'd been too long In the sea. Next to them dozed a tyrian crab Whose sleep in a foot-trace deep Commenced to crumble In the green rumble Of a lecherous tide. Then a dark, awkward sound   (Not too far from the drowsing crab) Was heard. He came forth from the mountain To sun himself on the shore And send the frightened rocks   Back to the deep. the journey
We had come to see him, the aging Tenor sing. He was as good as he had always been. But half way through, a woman appeared, Moving gracefully in bare feet upon the stage. Entering the ring of bright spot light near him. Long blond hair, falling loose around her neck, Held back both sides by Turtle Shell combs, Reflecting the light. Adorned in but a simple, low cut black dress, Her with a face beautiful as a new spring day. Held in her left hand an ebony hued violin, Touched fondly, like a well accustomed old friend. Her right hand holding a bow, ready and waiting. The Tenor’s and her eyes met and conveyed a message Only they understood.  Then starting slow and low, The full Orchestra commenced. The woman in black Brought instrument up to her chin, lovingly resting her face upon it, as if comforted by it's touch to skin. The fetching violinist, like a graceful reed, In summer breeze, began to gently sway, Laid Bow to strings and a transcended beauty, The voice of both her Instrument and from within she, Emerged through her fingers, completely filling the hall. With eyes closed, the slight movements of expression On her face registering the feelings the musical notes made, As if those gestures too, guided the bow's musical cords. Slender precise fingers lovingly caressing the strings. For nearly a minute, she and her violin played alone. Her actions of body, hands and head in concert, To her music, unavoidably hypnotic it could be said. The Tenor started to sing, and yet my eyes stayed Locked on her, as if no one else in the room was there. The blond woman in the black dress owned the stage. I have no idea how long that piece of music lasted, I could not attest to what contribution the Tenor made. Fully my attention and eventually my heart belonged To that lovely, evocative young woman in the backless, Little black dress. It’s true that I may never see or hear her play again, I know not, even her name. And yet, I’m sure that I will never forget those Few minutes mesmerized by her magical spell. Hopelessly caught in her enchanting web. With me sitting, third row, isle seat left, Worshiping as I did, at her so pretty, Slightly ***** naked feet, the striking Blond woman in the black dress.

An exchange of temptations that led to a hidden ordeal On an act of carnal ecstasy made to seal a deal The gamble to see if it’s worth lending a piece of the soul While trembling inside for the choices that would soon take toll The signs of deceit slowly surfaced but were shrugged despite suspicion Until a hasty flight provoked inner unrest and affliction Vivid memories of a previous torment come back haunting Knowing full well the Succubus affinity for betraying With logic and reason as both weapon and armor Against an enemy not easily made for capture Bargaining on a final bet that her grip be brought to nothing To release the mind from seemingly rotting The bargain commenced along with foreseen treason The sought peace only a hollow victory in a silently echoing frustration In total silence with a feeling that heavily burned A mental wall built to signify the lesson learned Screams of pain of the innards locked away in reticence Occurring to just seemingly mock the brilliance With great resolve brought by the treachery writhing in virulence Came the vigilance of avoiding such penitence And to never again taste the Succubus’ Sting in Silence

Succubus Sting in Silence
And the day sends bursts of gold and brilliance to the coming night. Beautifully engraving divine colors through the horizon. The rambling of magics, mysteries, and charm has commenced. The whispering of the leaves, the spirit of spring. The lighting beacon of my love and resilience. Nurturing my dreams, unfurling my new-found wings. An amorous night to soar, an idyllic moment to fly, While I await for the moon to join the sun in the same pastel sky.

The Serpent squeezes the mundane egg, for a moment in time, …to begin the ages, turn the wheel, and so begin the rhyme, The circus has commenced, a dancing, swirling motion, …a pit of ghastly horrors, seen as a vast deep ocean, …or celestial or cosmic, as some would have the notion. Some of them were large, although some were also small, …and grotesquely figured or disfigured, a scary monster’s ball, …and trudging, stampeding, stomping or slithering down the hall. There they danced, sang or prattled, where giants fought and where they battled, …thunder unto heroes rattled, with awful screams so frightening, and terrifying lightning! Scaly, hairy or feathered, wet and fiery or weathered, …conjoined, twisted or tethered, slithery writhing together, Kingu and his wife, some say it was t’was his mother, …his plan was war and strife, pitting brother against brother, A ******* existence and so morally depraved, …a state of sickly persistence, they found themselves enslaved. Then abounding voice of heaven, that divided night by day, …brought forth a princely king of Luke; the warrior Marduk. Fourteen engaged in combat, the one against thirteen, …and thus aligned with the ecliptic, at night they can be seen,   Sloshing in the Apsu, beaten with the club, …slain and torn to pieces, cutting channels of their blood, A north wind sent them to their places, fixed on Tiamat’s wheel, …and the starry constellations, did Marduk bring to heel.

When I was young, I chased only fun, My head all filled, with stupid. I wrecked some cars, Got into fights, Broke some bones, never learned my lesson. There was back then, A guiding Light, That tried to shine From within my Father. He knew the ropes, Had run the course, He'd even been in prison, But me, well, I was too **** dumb" to listen. We butted heads, The Old Man and me, I remained too stubborn, to heed His hard won Sage wisdom. To me back then, his words, sounded silly, at my age then, I reckoned I knew everything. When he died, We all cried, After all he was my Father. But gone is gone, And I wanted fun, Off I went to find it. In a bar, the "Memphis Star", A guy pulled a knife to stab me. In a full blind rage, I triggered my hate And stole that man's Life forever. All hell commenced, and My Everything changed forever. Now as I sit here thinking Within this rank prison, I dearly wish that to My old Daddy's wisdom, I would have devoted, more attention. Tomorrow mornin', A Hangman's comin', and at the end of my own rope, I will be surely hangin'.

My hungry lips commenced to talk To your lips in language hungry, As my tongue began to unlock The well of  your  language sundry, Necking your North African mounds, Halting at your salving shell pink, To sip and sup your winy words And faint and wake and rise and sink In the waking sleep of your fire To pen my Sufi desire, And die in the dunes of your body. © LazharBouazzi

The dermatologist demands a pre-summer scan of my visual delights fully magnified. Peering into places where no one else has ever peered, even me, reminds me that this is a potentially "disruptive" process. Eye don't know what his eyes have seen.   He works in silence pin punctuated by the occasional mmmm or throat clearing rumble. Snappy removal of neutrally colored gloves signify conclusion, he opines as follows: "Were you aware," he inquires, "that the lines, the furrows on a your forehead correspond to the life your have lead?" "You have three, deep deep tracks, and that's a fact." Yes, eye know, and each one is a tree ring notation of my existence. Each a different year, each a different moment fearful, a death and a birth, a passing, a regaining. No, not children or parents, illusions. Markers of our lives are the birth and death of our illusionary, our revelation minutes, that measure and scribe what dug those furrows is now officially, no more. Until we start anew, a different Pretense, a channel commenced to commemorate. Living the dream, they say, aren't we all, eye think, and so inform him. The doctor did not bill for this visitation.

A Full Body Examination: Tree Rings
Tricky sentences flew after moonrise, A battle commenced under moonlight, Swings and beams chased eachother Like fireflies dance around lovers It was a sight to see unlike any other I enjoyed the chase as if I were further, To be honest I didn't realize it was such a fight until I saw my hand disappear to reveal the moon.

Four Years. Four years of high school basketball: has come to an abrupt halt. You see, we'd swag into the locker room. Pump up the tunes. throw on the black air Jordan jump suits and whip out the pre-game moves. The three coaches walked in We listened to the pre-game speech Popped a couple altoids to "keep it fresh" then slugged a bit of water The warm up commenced Lay-ups Three on Two Shooting One more locker room run. Jersy's on! But right back on to the court Where the fans anticipate. Just a few more shots Now one minute left Time for the National Anthem. "Gentlemen remove your hats." Pre-game nerves suddenly sink in. "Oh say can you see." Thoughts about the game fill my mind. I look at the crowd, and my loving team mates. "And now for tonights starting line-up." Names announced. Team has last minute words one. two. three. "swag" ....Tip-off! We were so good. So athletic. A team with 8 returning seniors we were such ballers Conference Champs District Champs But we couldn't beat them "The best team in the state." We weren't sad about the loss though. We were sad that we had to leave this team. This team that we'd been with for four years. We loved each other more than anything. The final moments in the locker room were bittersweet. Tears of sadness, tears of joy We accomplished so much, but above all It was about the memories we made together.

*Superimposing marks On red, swollen lips Bit and bled from chattering teeth That tolls nervous as a cuckoo clock chirps. A bumpy road with Spidered cracks Like a well dried jerky strip Wrinkled, and tough. Bit and chewed With no bones underneath And no guts to go forward. Warning skies Of red in the morning. And thunderstorming nights That flash with lighting so intense You'd think an old-age photo party was commenced way up high. And rain so furious You'd think the clouds were tearing themselves to pieces.* -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a cloud, I think I should add That we aren't all fluffy and white Nor scary and dark. Our seasons do not come easily For we undergo much To make it "rain." And even more to keep it calm. Thunder is not a weathering crash, It is yelling from another room. And the lightning flash, rage, That leads to liquid pain. The hard pressed wind that tosses your hair Are witheld screams until tolerance level reaches maximum, And snaps. Like that old willow's trunk, Wrenched from the earth, Because the sky is powerful And we are only along for the ride. But, there is sunshine that warms our tops While the bottoms are in shadow, wrought in darkness that writhe along uneven surfaces. But, there is moonlight that makes us gleam, Like silver was sewn into sides. But she is not always there, And as her light fades So Do We.

“reminding me to remember what has yet to occur” ~for Jean Fisher~ *this poem title lay fallow now near four months; the poem title, a riddle in and of itself, my inability/reluctance to bring it to a spoiled fruition is simply and sumptuously explained, no idea what it meant and cause I got an F in future-telling in 8th grade, when we still believed anything, even hap-hap-happy was a possibility all day long fits and spurts; a sad poem rattles around in every part of my overcast Saturn day, this last eked out September pretend summer weekend, bereftness so powerful, that the weather is slapping me down, hard, for begging, gray grey sadness in the windless stillness asking, why, do you deserve it? the death of summer is a tree ring completed, a marker of nearer-my-death that I dare only utter to my pillow, hoping it won’t betray my statelessness to whomever makes the bed and plumps up them pillows up into squealing my hidden   truths and trust birthing the past is easy and not what the title, words I wrote somewhere, is asking for; no so more straying and to the scribbling and pecking do I attend that title commenced ironically at the end of May when the summer man feathered his mental nest once more and now my blindness clarified. now when summer commences, was I not secretly reminding myself of what was sure to occur - that troubles will come in cold and snow, and no longer will the little house by the sun bathed bay be an available antidote to the real toxins that grow stronger* this then was the clarion self-hint to prepare, reminder to self for the summery summation-end inevitable, for the perfect ending of this poem now that I have accurately predicted my future the title has borne its bittersweet fruits

Soggy, forgotten rotten eggs. Sink side. Gobbledy gnus cruising, fast acting cheetah be cheetah for the eggs are scare and the Time is new. The few are no longer fastened tightly to these hatchlings, the weather is near and all the tides are complicated. I could stand around in my underwear, but there isn't a single night song or nightengale that would hear me. There's a thud on my head and a knock on the door, I can't sing my best, or try to impress thee. All of these letters un rest to the sound of your voice, even in calfskin a vegetarian can begin to have trouble breathing. To the cables that untie thlemselves to a broom in a paradise, Pacific, galore. Forgot to. Invested. Contained poorl and drunks stowed in the holograms of hand-me-down prisms, here comes the infectuous lonely ol' lamb. This is the ewe song that sings you to sleep, keeps the sweat in your underwear. Where there is hunger there are poor but my gold chants forward to this Armageddon's sway. If it means it in Greek than it does in cyrillic, if it's toxin you have rotted your bell. Inside my pink, neon briefs is a tale of insanity, where I had tried to squeeze out every ounce of relief that commenced while I was asleep. There was only ever one of us that ran with the turmoil that romance does. Terminal two, Arizona-flu, carried through the ORD concourse I heard a saxophone tune. Final approach, a yawn. I'm home drinking ***** at 9:00am with my PJs on.

Drinking ***** With My PJs On
In the town of Forgotten One might always forget But our story unfolds surrounding King Hatchet He was an evil and determined king King Hatchet would often have thoughts being the one thing “I am the King to whom you must respect otherwise, a very high torture sting” The citizens of Forgotten weren’t surprised of the King’s words The message echoed out, and it was heard? But who would defy the king? It was a man named Defender He called out King Hatchet to come outside the castle Now anybody who challenges the King is automatically put to death But Defender was a skilled warrior, and reigned as a champion However, King Hatchet knows all about Defender, but doesn’t care how skillful Defender is But let the challenge begin It will be death to the finish Whoever is the victory will be distinguished So King Hatchet and Defender picked up swords and commenced in the fight There were cheers on both sides being sheer delight Swords grasped together, and when Defender pierced the arm of king Hatchet, there a scar and some blood Yet, it didn’t cause the blood the pour like a flood However Defender was steadily swinging his sword in not missing a beat It was determination in there not be a defeat Suddenly King Hatchet felt to the ground, and Defender had his sword at King Hatchet’s throat The message, “Defender was the greatest swordsmen throughout Forgotten” But Defender let King Hatchet live, but only after announcing, “Defender had won” Cheers from the crowd’s The hourglass of victory A chapter that prior could have been considered a mystery Once upon a time, storyline far more than any book could ever tell A moment in making a child’s heart’s swell The closing chapter ended with dreams into the night But for now good night, sleep tight, and don’t forget to turn off the light.

we went to Little Blue that summer in a bum'd car. riding in extravagance we couldn't afford. camping in the Oklahoma ozarks, we brought liquor. the two of us drank a half-litre honey whiskey and twenty-eight of thirty Pabsts. your chick only nab'd two. we were sunk from that point on. i vomit'd behind the car, and there were left retched handprints. left were a phantom's handprints, having been drown'd by their hedonism. the bikers partied along with us apart from us. they ask'd to use our hatchet, that's the way we met. men share tools, and that was the only instance of civility for two days. we ran feral. rip'd shirt to ribbons, wrap'd them 'round a stick, soak'd citronella, commenced adventure. returning,    two hours time gone; returning,    scratch'd and bleeding; returning,    we lit their paths with    torch burning a primal fire; sleep, pass'd out by fire in lounge chair. been in this spot before, knew to bring a quilt and mine was the only one. startled awake, fire nothing more than nightlight embers. raccoon, sitting upright, stared from his high perch of a picnic table. apple in paws, nibbling, he mock'd and monitor'd. i swiped at it with a stick, missed. said **** it. slept in the car that night.

*I lose myself deep in thought. Still I took what darkness brought. A war commenced, my mother fought. She lost her grip, her soul was caught. Here I am, a dark brainstorm. A silhouette set still waiting to take form. Seems like everyone is fighting but me. I could be anyone in another reality. Wish I could take a pill and be invincible. Takes power to make everyone incredible. I'm an animal without instinct. Potential in a lockdown precinct. Yet I swim through the deep end from the end back to the beginning. I will find my purpose for living.*
