"coldblooded" poems
She had always been on guard with her feelings. She never let her emotions rule her. Yet that night… that night was not different than any other nights. She still felt lonely. Yes, he was there she felt him… inside her he touched her but it was too superficial. He touched her, she felt him, but that’s it. Their bodies collided, but never their soul. Inside, her whole being was bleeding… aching… longing… for that gentle, genuine touch from the other but all he gave her were fierce and mighty stabs of uncertainty. Yes, it was pleasure, but it only lasted so brief that when she opened her eyes he was gone. She needed someone to complete her. She thought it will be him, but he was just another coldblooded bandit. Stealing… destroying… everything he can off of her, leaving her wrecked and sore. She lay there… her heart shouting in pain rhyming with the silence of the night. She lay there… her eyes closed, but her soul wide open. Waiting…. waiting for someone to pick her up. Waiting… waiting for everything to fade into oblivion.

Dysphoria
A sharp tongue with shark teeth and a malicious smile with venomous saliva. The reptiles eyes are like an alien planet. It's soul lost within the depths of it's pupil. It's like seeing tectonic plates shift as they leave a black scar across a sandy red desert. A reptile's eyes. Dragon scales cover my skin. For this world is filled with shattered hearts, it is like stepping in broken glass, I should protect myself from all your scars! I've grown coldblooded from these cold emotions. Icy stares and frozen thoughts. Because your souls are trapped in arctic ice, drifting in the same tides every day of your cryogenic lives! Witness the fiery eye that is the Sun. It shines dimly behind radio active clouds. Particles of chemical ash act like a mirror spitting back solar rays in the face of God! The arrogance that is man! Earth radiates golden shadows and the reptile is denied of heat. I am forced to store my dragon's breath inside the belly of my beast.

Dragon's Wisdom
Iron dinosaurs eat all living things Tearing it up by it's roots Chewing it up and spitting it out Digesting nothing but destruction Iron dinosaurs are ruthless Coldblooded to the core Wired in effeciency and primal in need Descendants of the lizard king Living for the chaos of all things Available for the shiny things and with a complimentary discount too Iron dinosaurs The stonemaker's creation Yearn for a place to adore The bonehead collectors To abruptly reshape the trampled mold To form it with maximum precision and in spirit level The last letter of the book will contain the wisdom of the path the world took Paradise or destruction One will not have seen the other And cannot distinguish the two Where we are now Depends on the eyes that look

The day fell cold and lonely, A broken glass, a hotel floor, These scars still serve as a reminder, Life can always hurt much more. Lie to me, please lie to me, Just make me feel ok, Nothing will matter in the morning, I was never meant to stay. We turn and burn and never learn, New days, the same old times, Wherever you pray, let’s go there now, Forgive us for our crimes. Thick choking smoke sings me awake, She says, “Leave me behind.” I lift my head to ask her what she said, “Oh nothing, never mind.” It was all a matchstick fairytale, Some coldblooded grasp at fate, A redemption burned in effigy, A salvation far too late.

Room 1715
I remember, When I was young I was a princess- Not in the conventional sense However. I wanted to grow up And become- Not royalty- Especially not The Queen. No, what I wanted to be Was the vicious and coldblooded Dragon That can destroy everything Without worrying About someone greater And fiercer coming along To stop me. Even if You just went back 5 years You would clearly Be able to observe That I was a fawn- Still just a little princess. Who can say when This drastic transformation Transpired? I must have started sleeping With my limbs dangling hazardously Over the edge of the bed Near the void- Because I know well enough Something profane did Creep up from the darkness Into me- And now there is No Going back. I mounted These vapors And took to the atmosphere. I soared Up And up And up Until my problems Were no longer my problems And I ceased loving. You’d better believe that I am Gulping these flames And these infernos Are, in fact, Licking away at my insides. I am a great serpent   Borne from something unholy- Guarding my heart In a haze of smoke. There was surely a time When I was light And morality But Somewhere along the way, I stopped caring Took in the dark And the fire To fuel my own desires. But evidently, I am not the merciless drake I so anticipated becoming. Because just the other day I was terror and dread- And today I feel no larger Than a teacup. Here I was, Deluding myself Into thinking That I am a fireball Capable of extinguishing cities. When lately, Every night I contract into myself Fighting to keep warmth In my heart Before I freeze solid again Because they tell you To light a fire within yourself In order to keep warm But They never tell you That sometimes It can scorch pits into your ribcage.

A Twisted Lover
There was an old man who was very depressed He'd failed every trouble and trial and test He wept and he sobbed til his eyes had gone dry He was so very sad that he wanted to Seek emotional counsel for his dismal disorder So he picked up the flute and the woodwind recorder He learned to find joy through music expression He thought he had finally beat his Very hard level in Mario 3 But he failed at everything, even the Wii He did with his sadness once again coincide Til one fateful day he committed To an exercise plan that got him in shape He got slimmer and trimmer and boy, he felt great! He was glad as a songbird and free as a dove And thanks to the splendor of Tinder he even found An overcontrolling excuse for a girl Who caused years of therapy to slowly unfurl As his job, his courtship, and his whole life went south He finally put a bullet in his Resume list of all of his talents He saw each day as an exciting new challenge From raise to promotion to recommendation letter The old man's life had took a turn for the Edge of the bridge that his body fell from Though police say "suicide" there still are some Who doubt the absurd and believe the absurder That what actually killed him was coldblooded Lizard-people who rule the government's workings Putting on a facade while in the dark lurking "The happiest suicide" may one day be explained But if it is the Illuminati will wipe all our

The Depressed Old Man
She's stuck within the ice of space and time She's paralyzed by threats of yesterday Leaving her coldblooded and cased in ice They stole her warmth but she still has to pay Steel she seems to feel makes up her walls but you approach her, warmth within your hands You feel she's frozen. Unfreeze! they say as if it worked that way Just melt! dismiss her as a drama queen But there's a reason she wants you to stay She shivers but can't shatter the cold screen But there's a reason she wants you to stay Because of your hands she feels. She feels less frozen
