For days I have been silent
Not out of fear or shame but out of loss

theres a part of me that hurts everyday when i stop and start thinking about you ..........its my heart,,,,sometimes it feels like a heart attack ,my chest gets tight and it feels like a knife is stuck in it and i cant pull it out.
if i do then i will surely bleed to death.
sometimes i lay in bed trying to go asleep and i have to just take a deep breath to hold back a tear cause i remember something about you that makes me smile.
i dont belive it will ever get easier i dont belive i'll ever get over you
and i dont belive i'll ever fall in love again.
i do belive someday im going to break alot of hearts and look back years from it and wish id broke more ...
i know i wont ever forget my mistakes ..but by remembering them ive learned theres room for me to be a better man.....i want to belive you still think about me and smile i also want to belive you still love me despite all the tears i caused you ,,

As i sit on my knees its vary clear the pain will never leave the sadness willl keep playing with your heart your life will flash in front of your own existence. The cold chills that run down your spine. The love you lost leaving you numb and deeply hurt and broken. Addiction you fill the emptiness deep inside your soul. You tired there no point of careing when everything you creat gets destroyed by people during the day. The money you make seems to slip away when you fall inlove. Control overe you with now escape you want to be loved and held tightly cuddled. But dose love really even exists dose it even have meaning dose it have any real feeling. You see it was never about the dance.
That went on all around me no matter if I slept or was wide awake. Their busy life, their needs and expectations whilst yours simply ebbs away, forgotten.
Some days it was like swimming through a sea of souls all touching yours trying not to sink themsleves. Each one screaming for a different reason.
Then as the day ended I had reached the shore, now alone. Yet drowned in their needs, their fears. I was lost.
Some pick up others emotions without knowing. Their problems like sap from a tree. Sticky and eventually trapping like amber the very soul that was there to help, taking their life slowly.
So we build walls out of fear and protection to preserve what is left.
We arm ourselves with the fully automatic "NO!" and "I Can't". Emotionally lethal from almost any angle. But not love proof. Shooting down any careing or passion of any kind. But for those tricky situations where the wall is breached or they find a window and see the you inside, you hid and camouflaged with confidence and bravado, there is the bomb.
The it's not you it's me bomb. Once deployed you implode and the outer shell sends a blast wave purging the emotional landscape. Anyone who dared to approach now simply a shadow to you.
