mission statement 7 - only i do it
A mirror is never just your reflection, My mother once said The mind has this devilish way of Twisting Things around Making then a lot more or a lot less That what stands before me Suddenly My face isn't my face anymore Instead I stare blankly at a blueprint Society itself has hand-sketched For me. Post-it's on where things had gone wrong Scribbles on things I needed less of Highlighters on places I needed Brighter brights Thinner thins And I just stood there Watching As these self-proclaimed architects Unraveled The plans they had for a body that wasn't theirs. Accepting The new rooms they had drawn next to the ones that already existed, The ones that were always there The ones I made a home out of, The mole on my ear That never seemed out of place Until, The impact of a critical post it told me so. The place where my thighs met I've always ignored, Assuming I was normal But the scribbles that Begged For less of me, Proved otherwise. The marks of stretched skin I considered battle scars over a few calories at a buffet table Nullified By society's architects Disapproved As if it were up to them Invalid Like human came in the form of overruns But I stare at this blueprint that suggests to change me from Floor to floor Head to toe And wonder If the one who owns the lot in which I am Wonder If He wanted to change me anymore than them If He liked the original rooms More than the ones carved to fit the trends If He wanted me to ignore the architects And the drafts of copies And copies And copies Of different versions of me Didn't He want me to accept the mirror for who I am?

Mirror

A trio of communist limericks
Pi, at the end of its endless decimals' grandeur, meets a human being—who holds a mirror! Until now, the number, knowing only sway, has been lost in discovery’s polished way. No more: it begins—on a human—in front of its eye. Patterns and unique precision, patternless waves, new math tides soar, pivot at the cosmos' height, only to bag the ultimate truth: Fathima—the first spiritual woman—mooned there first! Fathima steps forward where nature falls behind, across the dead end, the irrational chasm she strides. For the cosmos' deep mind, Earth, the ocean is but a drop; the rope to the top is the lead—the feminine Fathima’s lock! Raw Fathima moves; in shadow, nature follows, clustering atoms span between the two, only to witness her encrypted, secured fashion— intact, uncharted, yet fully functioning, in Makkah and Medina, while she lived. The red fairies at midday’s spot-on, the black swans arching rainbows in wonder— marvel how Fathima deduces, straw by straw, the maestros’ dream of ascension, potion-polished, taking Ma pauses in liminal crescendos, between past and future, here and hereafter—a circular duo. Limning out chiaroscuro in light and shadow— nothing like it exists, in plain sight or the world in toto! Rainbows shaded in, sparking out, the scent of roses in her veiled black hair: the cosmos anew glinting off her edge, deeper quintessence than dark matter! The blueprint, the intelligent pre-design, rests in her elements. The breakthrough exponent—hidden in her eyes. Yet beyond the masses’ gaze, she remains Zahra—light upon the original way. Truly, only one feminine form has reached across the other end of the cosmos' endless highway, zooming past nature’s hidden gems—the irrational Pi, the complex chasm—a mathematical goldmine. Beyond the masses’ eyes and their painted canvases, shine the daylight and the glowing fireflies of the night. Viva Mankind! Fathima is the Moon at the highest high!

Thugs with Pens & Aerosol Cans Thugs with Pens Hell-bent; not on cultism Just airing the other sentiments That don’t make it to primetime Thugs with pens Not poking out eyes Just venting spleen Sick of the lies Thugs with pens Deserve to be heard They don’t poison your brain With stacks of ***** Thugs with pens And aerosol cans Can change your mind In ******* time Thugs with pens Can make a dent They don’t need to insert Un-readable, un-interesting Covert small print.... Thugs with pens Don’t need no script writers Or advisors nor signatories Witnesses, nor dodgy men With gold plated fountain pen nibs To make amends Or throw in no hidden clauses That secretly **** your life blood Thugs with pens Don’t aim to pierce your skin But make their mark Deeper within Thugs with pens And aerosol cans Completely uncensored champions of free speech The establishment want suppressed, silenced, deleted; terminated. Thugs with pens And aerosol cans don’t Schedule meetings To fix the minutes And schedule another meeting And keep ‘minutes’ As square angled And unproductive As formal conversation Thugs with pens Aim venomous ink At headless politicians That squawks like chickens Bending over For the ************* Bank-beefing corporations, Controlling the masses With ***** little catchphrases And mounds of munitions And illegally enforced restrictions On your movement and free expression Honest men Have nothing to fear From Thugs with Pens & Aerosol Cans These “thugs” seek asylum From countries Where the law’s Not bought and bent Thugs with pens & aerosol cans Are made to wear monikers and masks Thugs with pens Don’t turn on its own Neighbours and citizens To perpetuate myths: A ****** ************* lie… A thing that never happened! I'm not depressed I just lack what society coins Common sense I live life in all 3 tenses Because the past Is the blueprint of my fences That reign the present in And I might as well live in the future In case it never does begin For sanity is not measured by statistics The majority's vote does not determine what's realistic For selfishly we work as a whole Only as convenience To reach our own goals The size of our ambitions Define the status of our positions Although this would never reach admission Independence gains ground by submission Failure is measured by how well we cope With the reality of our situations And the absence of hope Success however Is measured by distance Between the final outcome And our feeble existence As we try to conquer life We digress from our true motives Doing whatever it takes To prove ourselves devoted The ballots were never cast Yet we take pride that we voted For the notion that our drive Is all that's keeping us alive Is hidden in our conscience Cuz we don't need it to survive Life is constant, set in stone Yet we are continuously changing Spinning towards the unknown Oblivious Until we're all alone With the thoughts in our minds Releasing the binds Which tie us to the perception Built up by deception That we begin living the moment we are born When instead we don't awaken till we win the war For you can not understand a revolution until you are free Yet you can not be free till you have a revolution

internal conflict
One star lit night I sat down to write, A Little short poem about dragons and kites Though In nature they do differ still the similarities remain, One’s found in a fairy tale adventure the other in a child's small hand to entertain.   One has sharp teeth and a mouth that spits fire, One holds a boys dream of a future aviator to inspire. They both have long tails, though ones lined with ribbons the other lined with scales And magic wings that lift them up higher over the highlands and vales While catching a ride on the back of a strong wind gale One lives in a cave and the other a toy box, One sleeps on a rock and the other hangs from tree tops. One’s tamed by the pull of a kite runner’s string, The other steered by a dragon rider straddled between its wings. One’s made from myth, legend, folklore and fear, The other made from the design and blueprint of an inventor's mind's idea. Ones made of sinews, muscles, flesh and bones, The others made of a cross wooden stick frame over which cloth is stretched, and sewn. Ones enchanted by wizards and knighted by kings, The other’s to cheer up a child's heart and fulfill all his wishes and dreams. And now out of my head my subjects take flight, Now I do find there's no more to write, Of the different and likes between dragons and kites.

Of Dragons and Kites
I **** the mood in a sour June, opulent misery, scorched Earth, exchanging platitudes with old faces, full of ******** full of hot air. Both sides of the fence at war with themselves, feigning inner peace and profit across the beer garden table. I talk of hangmen and floods, child brides and dressing gowns, my hometown under the mythic spell of collective memory loss. We have forgotten our place in the comfort of our urban sprawl; sirens caterwaul past the high-rise, past the vacant church with locked doors and the homeless on the street. A commonplace emergency, young male suicides, women ***** in the safety of their homes, taught a kindness through physical force, the way the gun drops to civilians in countries saved through the filter of television screens; of dust and distance. I sit and write and think of **** of old loves, anxieties- they call me crazy all the while for not committing to the scene. Now Afghanistan is a blueprint, extended diagram of steady-state destruction, a conspiracy of white man dreams, farmlands bruised by machines of war, by the Big Black Boot, the feeling we have been here before. All the while, the illusion persists, car parks filled with smoke, professional escapists with their 9% lager, bags of tobacco, and the megalomania of art. I **** the mood of a whitewashed June, advertised freedom, a mortgaged Earth, exchanging currency for a chance of peace, the zen garden smoker, the looted mind. Both sides of the fence are collecting bones, at war with themselves, whilst my eyes are red and my philosophies, ****** They call me crazy for dreaming of escape, whilst never leaving the confines of home.

A desiccated brown leaf remembering greener days, summersaults stem over end into the exposed cold dirt softened somewhat in demeanor by the grass and radiant shafts The geese and ducks squawk and honk in the distance Congratulating each other for the day's richness and the way the sun feels on their proud beaks glinting off the water in its way a shimmering band A princely golden carpet forever unrolling and yet complete The sun's spindle weaves gems of light into a gossamer web laid glittering across the water A vision for Moses who saw the true path through the sea Fireworks Forever exploding sunlight Gifted to the eye on clear liquid canvas The wind ripples the waves wrinkles pushed along foaming in the sand Little Kisses on the grainy cheek Star Flashes Communicating ancient patterns Secrets of Existence Coming in Morse code, Fibonacci Sequencing, Sacred Geometry in Twinkling Motion Individual explosions blinking on a natural switchboard Telling the architectural answer Manifesting the blueprint to only every reason why The Last Leaf sings in the Breeze, swinging

Conspiring Swans Plot Amongst The Reeds with Jabbering Ducks Against The Geese
I will drag my knife along your skin, sharp blade down into your fragile, shaking canvas, incising an increasing beat of whimpers and whines. Please hold still. I promise this will hurt. I will expose your clattering bones, rip out your chattering teeth, erase every impugned utterance you muttered against me. I will carve my letters slowly on your unzipped frame, sliding the burgundy blood across to blot clot dot. This is only preparation for what is about to follow. I will puncture your throbbing organs, slash your stretched cartilage with an unwritten script. Before I press further, I’ll assure you, you are still alive. I will twist each phrase, haunt you to believe it is your fault, force you to beg the slightest escape. I will permanently etch my name deep in the frozen chambers of your quivering heart. I will open up the blueprint as a demolition expert, remove whole fractions of your fractured soul, leave you a horrid wreck in the abyss of a mess you just made. You will not get rid of me, though no trace of evidence is left behind. My hands have been clean from the start.

I Can Get Ugly with My Words
STOP CREEPING (Road signs in Australia thus remind us to keep to the speed limit) Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, Creeps in this petty pace from day to day To the last syllable of recorded time, And all our yesterdays have lighted fools The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle! Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage And then is heard no more. It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing. William Shakespeare: MacBeth, Act 5 Scene 5. Creeping, seeping, peeping, sleeping, What’s the common factor through these ‘eep’ words deeming? Shakespeare calls them dusty and aligns them up with death. Our world calls it shadow but it chokes you out of breath. Churches cannot see them so they flout invisible. Jesus calls them idols yet they sound so plausible. Christians follow teachers in a roundabout way. Teachers crave disciples which determines what they say. But these are all poor players on a poorly structured stage. Their stage gives way. They tumble. They rise up in a rage. “Life has not been fair,” they say, and “Where is God in that?” Did they ask Him in the first place? Did they call God up to chat? The churches have no answers. Now where do I go from here? Go right back to the Bible, Friend. The truth is written there. Check it yourself. It’s relevant to eras far and near. Like natural laws it cannot change with fashion year to year. So do not mix the fashion in philosophies of life With Truth that stands forever among raging seas of strife. Counselling in modern terms can get you sympathy, But will it give you backbone for the next antipathy? Feminism needed to support the weaker staff, But now of our humanity it rejects one whole half! And money is too much an issue when it must be said That what is not of love is valueless to Christ our Head. Of all the thousands who are found in church each seventh day, How many can indeed discern the right and faithful way? How many put their lives on hold for truth and nothing less? How many first set out their plan and build their faith round this? Is there not one who will apply to God for his blueprint So s/he can play the part of power for treasure in Heaven’s mint? The Spirit of Truth cannot be found where ideas pull such weight. He’s somewhere else you don’t suspect. Chase Him, and don’t be late!

She Looks Like a Tiger See how she places her paws so lightly, so as not to be heard. Silently, she moves through the crowd, head held high, today she doesn't want to hide. Depicted in peach coloured stripes. No red, no brown, no blue, no black. Today, is the first day she felt it was safe to show them. Asking for the first time in her life, for the world to continue doing what it's always done Lean on her, sing her our our sorrows so she could sing them back and pretend, that we could not see her scars. She has always been the brick wall. The concert hall The shoulder to cry on. The logic you would chase after with your pedestrian problems and she was the designated driver. But when it looks like you're a casual on bridges over troubled waters, there 's no one talking you down from the ledge. She would never have asked you to. Hannah, your name sounds like a semi-permanent tattoo. I hope that's what this poem feels like to everyone who hears it So that every time they think they know broken, they feel cold lines crisscrossing their body and can honestly wonder, was this feeling your blueprint. But I think you look like tiger.   And I know, I shouldn't give time to some little boys who refuse to use her real name because it fits her to well. Callin' her some emo, weak hippie freak. she's just looking for attention. Because when you're the first person to make it through Hell and back alive, you're a liar. A hitch hiker piggy backing on someone else's problems. But her arms served as straightaways for razorblades for nine solid years, and its no thanks to people like you she's still here. You think, she should be ashamed of herself. As if scars are a ***** in the armour. Like she was peer pressured into self-destruction and couldn't resist. No one asks you: "Hey there, wanna cut? Wanna, self-mutilate?" Just like I won't ask you not to hate the idea of someone being that low That every beat of the heart feels a little like ****** assault, and cutting was the best way she could find to say no. She looks like a tiger, and she didn't earn her stripes. People rarely do. But she has earned the right to wear them for what they are; Battle scars. Things she's long overcome. Her head is held high again. Love is like a disease it spreads. Hatred is an itch when you keep Scratching it. It Fester an kills you. When i think about the things I've said. Feelings I felt. I melt inside. It turns my in sides out. My heart combust An I hate myself. Why are I not enough. Denial will have you walk for miles. Sorrow is a sweet after taste of a sucker punch of truth. Loneliness is only a symptom. An that to will pass. I am a enigma of feeling. I cry when the rain falls to hard. When the wind blows in the wrong directions. I'm poetic. I'm also a stepping stone. The men I've let erase my soul an rewrite my blueprint. The salty tears I cry are almost symbiotic. Another symptom. Like a sonnet short an sweet. Running in a circle walking a fine line. Waiting to leap. Is it a crime to work 9 to 9. Roller coaster emotinal train wreck. An I think to myself who will love me. I bare myself to the pit an it asks me if I'll jump. I reply not today. Slumped down I step closer to the edge. I reenact self destructive behaviors daily. Am I considered an addict. I seek validation from namless phantoms. I named them my self conscious. Are you listening my beating heart gets louder. I order cream an chowder. Sips slow on estacy. Love an lust sleep next to me. I'm smothered in one while I'm blocked to the other. Exits are closed off I think where is my mother.  I shudder remembering I'm alone.

Born of fear, fueled by anger This resentment I feel for you Creates abscesses on my soul Poison filled sacs of toxic hate which Rise like bile in my gullet To choke my spirit Much like the dead alcoholic Who's aspirated on His own ***** and phlegm A bloated purple carcass Devoid of autonomy of spirit Self-obsession robs me Of conscious truth Fear - that your indictments Against me will be brought Before the grand jury of The universe and I will be found lacking Resentment - at you for not becoming A willing patron of My brand of truth Anger - at me for my own failings Brought to light Secrets I can no longer hide While my defects are Glaringly obvious to One as enlightened as You purport to be Did not your path to Spiritual perfection Contain the blueprint to Correct your vain sins of glory and Indignant self-deception? Is not your lofty status Grand enough to look upon My humiliated soul with Something less than contempt?

TRIANGLE
Heed these words, write them upon the tablet of your mind for I have returned. When you finally come to the point in your life and comprehend that the dreams with which you have been bestowed are to be used as a blueprint, you then and only then will win remarkable success in what ever calling that you adopt. You will begin to visualize things with a much greater understanding and you will experience sights stranger than you have ever seen before. You will know that these new visions are all true, for you will see that you have been given the ability to pick out and notice clusters of confirmations and on an imaginary scale. The fear of premonitions and ignoring notable occurrences by dismaying them all off as if they are just figments of your imagination is to be avoided. It is not out of random chance, the thought that things are bound to line up from time to time and for no apparent reason or that evolution had a major impact on us to evolve into begins to recognize pattern recognition, but rather, it is to be construed as if you have been blessed with the gift of foresight and you will notice that you are able to think and speak things into existence. Never again will you live with the fear of the unknown for you will know all. The truth of all things will manifest themselves and be disclosed to you in a vivid clear contrast. There will be many people who will find it extremely difficult to interpret what is being explained to them and in the process they will then start to display that they are trapped within there own gridlocked mind and be confused with just your mere presence. You will find that people who do not understand you will then try to get you to conform to what they see, ignore them. Life is but an enigma, one that is full of complex-ed riddles, when you accept to follow your dreams and with an open objective you will then have the opportunity to harness all its power and in return all the pieces of the puzzle will be spread out for you for your taking. Once you find the first piece, you then will be given the license required to take part of this phenomenon so you can complete life's grander picture found outside the ivory tower. You will know with all certainty that you are not dreaming and that what you are witnessing is not a mirage, that is until, the silver cord be loosed, after that, when death finds its way to sting and the grave can then claim its victory, welcome and accept a Re"quies'cat In Pa'ce. "God, I really wish she talked like you, dressed like you; how do I get her to think like you do?" Policing her to be like me will never serve you because the one who does me best, is me. Be truthful with yourself, when you ask her to behave like this, do you dream of me? You cannot easily transpose my image onto your lover, because no one else loves like me, talks like me, dresses like me, can transfix in your mind like me. Do you love her like you love me? He was one of those guys who marry money. And you can grok that in any sense you desire. But be forewarned, my friend, I am well-versed in a multitude of Marry-For-Money manifestations. Take, for example, marrying the Boss' daughter. Come with me, for illustration's sake, Join me in one such dis-functional household: George & Martha's place on campus-- A classic Tudor-revival home, Ivied & plushly-appointed, A coveted faculty perk Which goes along with the gig. And the gag, for that matter. I speak, of course, of Edward Albee's Two perversely miserable humans, Married to each other, to wit: George & Martha, leading lives of Pubis-scratching desperation, in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" She's the only daughter-- Daddy's precious jewel-- Only girl-child of the President Of a small, rural college. He's the middle-aged professor With no great pedagogic or research prowess. His working-class perspective, Viewing the quiet academic life to be A significant step up in genteel existence. Except--and there's the rub: Mere existence is a far cry from Living the good life Dan Draper & The rest of Satan's Mad Men minions Taught him to take for granted. So George & Martha, In terms of core values, Have little in common; More like opposites, in fact: His starvation diet as a child & Her helping out Mom at the Food Bank on Saturday mornings. It's those formative razzmatazz years, He lacked the behavior blueprint, The overwhelming fatigue of acting. He's perpetually memorizing lines, Practicing ****** expressions & Physical gestures & phrases. Guard up, another Oscar-worthy performance, Burton is superb & Elizabeth Taylor Showing us precisely why she is & Will continue to be revered as an actress. George knows she has his number. The thing about the play is the Intense malice the couple feel for each other. For the audience, an experience in stage drama Best classified as an intensely painful morality play. A good thing to remember: Live Theater Adds value to a community. Give generously, please! But I digress.

Popularity  This is something tht I didn't have to have I guess u can say I'm a victim of my swag And whts tht u ask well thts my personality The qualities and characteristics tht makes me  Anywhere I go I leave w/ at least one friend Humor w/ a little sarcasm who can contend   The key to this is to stay ahead of the next man See things happen before they happen w/o pretend Which means u have to keep it real  Be ready for wht ever but still remain chill  Add all these factors up and thts not even a quarter of me Even tho I'm giving u the blueprint equaling me is something u will never be   You see people wait to see wht I'm going to wear  Which makes it hard not to notice when people stare But I don't care cause I give people inspiration  The females sweating me w/o the perspiration  And it's  amazing how some women hang on ur every word  No matter how rude, obnoxious or absurd U will still be heard I mean in all actuality a **** is wht they want  Y'all embrace them inconsiderate ******* types ladies don't front But on the inside to project this persona brings about alot of pressure With ur preconceived notion of who I am w/me left to measure So u can actually say tht I'm being me for you  Even though u believe all my qualities to be unique and true Because to be honest u put me before you In an attempt to negate your own low self esteem  Whether it be an acquaintance or a small association You make it bigger than it seems  Placing me in undeserved high regards Feeling tht I possess the best hand when you hold the trump card You see this is just a brief look at the other side of the fence  And even though it may be hard for me to convince It because of ur interest tht my popularity exist              By: @mr_p3rs0nality
