Raksha Bandhan..."Sweet relation"
"Happy Raksha Bandhan to all"
Brother sister has relationship with nectar and poison.
Both fight each other always,
But mutual love also reflects in those quarrels.
<<<<>>>>
My dear brother,
The precious gift sending by god,
When i 'm so short,
In kidding way,
Everyone says to my brother,
You give your short sister to me,
I will give you toys, chocolates, ice creams...
But he was not ready to give anyone.
He loves me,
In childhood a lot.
"perfect sweet relation''
Every thing he share with me like toys, chocolates etc.
And always give the biggest part.
He is my hero,
But i fear him a lot
On the occasion" Raksha Bandhan"
I prayed to god...
He always with me...
My dear brother,your everloving sis.
''Happy Raksha Bandhan to all"

Happy" Raksha bandhan"to all
"perfect sweet relation"
Thanks for reading.
The bond of love The bond of Trust
The festival which truly celebrates
the bond between a brother and a sister (siblings and cousins)

Celebrated in the month of August on a full moon day(purnima)
Known as Rakhi Purnima

Rakhi-The sacred thread ,
which the sister ties on the wrist of her brother .
This festival is known
as Raksha Bandhan

Raksha - means to protect
Bandhan - To be bound (Bond)
Raksha Bandhan - The Bond of Protection
A festival celebrated by Hindus all over the country.

The Celebration
The sister buys a Rakhi for her brother
Prepares or buys sweets for her brother .
On the auspicious morning ,
The brother and sister both deck up in their traditional fineries.

The sister readies a plate full of sweets ,
with a little vermilion soaked in water
along with a few rice grains ,  to be applied as vertical mark (tilak) on the brother's forehead.
Believed to blessings from the lord .
A lit lamp for aarti
and the Rakhi(sacred thread) which she ties on the brother's wrist ,
wishing him the best .

The brother in return promises to look after her and presents her with gifts .

* This is not a poem , more of an account of the festival and the celebration.
With time and distances it is not always possible to bring in the festival together.
However, the sister mails across the Rakhi  to the brother, as I did :)
*

Have beautiful memories of this festival from my younger days , celebrated with siblings and cousins alike .

Thank you all for reading !!
This year ,The  festival is on 7th of August , that's today .
Happy Raksha Bandhan to all brothers and sisters ..
Familial the ties siblings we are
Brought up with love care discipline and protection
Values inculcated deep
Respect and love we all each other
Hold it strong in the heart
Hurt we can never bring to each other
Stand together in testing times forever
Raising high the baton of love today
Passing it on to the generation next
To relay it in the timeless tomorrow
Raksha Bandhan - the festival of the bond of love and protection, shared by brothers and sisters .
The sister ties a sacred thread / amulet on the brother’s wrist , and prays for the well being and protection of her brother.
The brother promises the same and showers the sister with gifts .

Maa
Jab aankh khuli to amma ki
godi ka ek sahara tha
uska nanha sa anchal mujhko
bhumandal se v pyara tha.....
uske chehre ki jhalak dekh
chehra phulo sa khilta tha
uske stan ki ek bund se
mujhko jeevan milta tha
haatho se baalo ko noocha
pairo se khoob prahar kia
phir v us maa ne puchkara
humko jee bhar ke pyar kia

Mai uska raja beta tha
wo ankho ka tara kahti thi
mai banu budhape me uska
bas ek sahara kahti thi
ungli ko pakad chalaya tha
padhne vidlaya bheja tha
meri naadani ko v neej
antar me sadasaheja tha

Mere saare prashno ka wo
fauran jawab ban jaati thi
meri raho ke kaante chun
wo khud gulaab ban jaati thi
mai bada hua to college se
ek rog pyar ka le aaya
jis dil me maa ki murat thi
wo ramkali ko de aaya

shaadi ki pati se papa bana
apne rishto me jhul gya
ab karwa chauth maanta hu
maa ki mamta ko bhul gya
hum bhul gye uski maamta
mere jeevan ki thati thi
hum bhul gye apana jeevan
wo amrit wali chaati thi

Hum bhul gye wo khud bhukhi
rah karke hume khilati thi
humko sukha bistar dekar
khud geele me soo jaati thi
hum bhul gye usne hi
hotho ko bhasha sikhlayi thi
meri neendo ke lie raat bhar
uss maa ne lori gaayi thi

hum bhul gye har galti par
usne danta samjhaya tha
bach jau buri najar se
kala teeka sada lagaya tha
hum bade hue to mamta wale
saare bandhan tod aaye
bangle me kutte paal laye
maa ko vridhaashram chod aaye
apano sapno ka mahal girakar
kankar -kankar been laye
khudgargi me uske suhag ke
aabhushan tak cheen laye

Hum maa ko ghar ke batware ki
abhilasha tak le aaye
usko paawan mandir se
gaali ki bhasha tak le aaye

to be continued ........(next part may be in next week)

Mujhe dar nahi hai Duniya ka
dar nahi hai andere ka
dar nahi pyar mein kone ka ya
pyar mein ko kohne ka

Mujhe dar nahi ghum hone ka
mujhe dar nahi girne ka
mujhe dar nahi hai harne ka

Kyuki bhai, mujhe pata hai ki
jab zaroorat pade
aap kade honge mere baju iss duniya ke samne

Andere se aap bhi darte honge
par rahoje mere sath
mujhe darate hue ya pir mera majak udate hue

Jab pyar mein kohi hui main
gussa zaroor karte honge
par chedne ka mooka nahi chodoje

Jab pyar ko he koya
rahoge pass
thamke mera hath

Kabhi kabhi mein rasta bakat ke ghum ** jati hoon
teri gabrahat ** ya na ** teri baduri ki lambhi kisse me
par kisse ke akhar main
tum hamesha mujhe dond loge

Mujhe dar nahi hai Duniya ka
dar nahi hai andere ka
dar nahi pyar mein kone ka ya
pyar mein ko kohne ka

Mujhe dar nahi ghom hone ka
mujhe dar nahi girne ka
ya pir harne ka
kyuki bhai, aap har maane nahi diye mujhe.

I've got a handsome brother
Like I have, you may have to
Each day, I weave off his negativity
By praying to god sincerely
His life stays longevous
Never shall he get upset unnecessarily
This thread, is a protection virtue
Never get upset, this heart gets upset to
Whether am far or near
Don't you forget this lives praxis
Brought 'rakhi' with love to tie on your wrist
Brought you lots of sweets and gifts
Let me embrace your forehead with sandlewood powder and wave this lighted lamp upon you
Tying this thread and serving these sweets
This day comes once a year with treats
My brother, remaining years of my life
I wish, be bestowed upon you...

*Raksha Bandhan*
Hai ek salona, bhai hamara
Jaisa hai mera, shayad waisa ** tumhara
Roz mein uski nazar utaroon
Bhagwaan se mein prathna karoon
Jeewan uska rahe salamath
Kabhi wo mujhse, bewaja roothe math
Hai ye dhaga, raksha bandhan
Dukhi math hona, dukhta hai maan
Mein paas hoon ya dur
Tum bhul na jana jeewan ka dastur
Layi hoon iss rakhi mei bhar kar pyar
Barfi, jalebi, peda aur ye uphaar
Tilak lagaoon, arti utaroon
Dhaga bandhoon aur methayi khilaoon
Din ye saal mein, ek baar aye
Bhai, meri umar bhi tumhe lag jaye...

☺️🥰😊

RAKSHA BANDHAN

A rakhee is a  beautiful bond of love,  faith n care

By tying it, a sister, shows  her love and care.

It also is a reminder of the lovely times, siblings share;

Beautiful memories,  love, fights,  squabbles, those a bro n sis share

A simple thread of cotton or silk, enough is, to say, "Bro I care for you"

"Bro. Keep that love throbbing,  irrespective of where I go, I will always love you".

"Bro, may God, you and your family alwayyyyysssss healthy  n happy keep "

"May He protect and guide you; and under His wings,  you safely keep "

From
Your loving sis.

Hey sister with love
Wish you this day all above
The bonds present on this earth
God is great; we are brother sister in this birth

Hey sister with love
Wish you this day of wonderful bond that,
Binds us and makes our attachment strong,
Realizes my duty first to protect you ever,
To be with you forever & lose you never
Next, to support you at times of joy and sorrow
Help you at any moment now or tomorrow.

Hey sister with love,
I want you to be with me,
To make this bond eternal &everlasting;
Would u agree with me that it won’t be at all contrasting?
This day we may not be together, it doesn’t matter
Whatever the reason may be, we couldn’t gather
Rather make this celebration non-materialistic
Beautiful in its own way, uniquely fantastic

Though we fight or argue   for while
Let’s make our relations as long as Nile

I know that at moment I am insane
Promise you that it won’t be same,

I Pray to God that we always be one
Let’s enjoy this carnival with lots of fun
Hey sister with love, Happy Raksha  Bandhan.
Wajah bewajah
bina baat hi kabhi bas,
log rootha kyu karte hain ?

Kyu
apni hi ummeedon ke tang jaal mein
din raat,
yun hi ghuta karte hain ?

Jaane anjaane
hum  “humare” “apno” se
wada jhootha kyu karte hain ?

Zindagi ki daud dhoop mein
kuch saathi bante hain
toh kuch
choota kyu karte hain ?

Dilon ke rishte
Aksar toota kyu karte Hain ?

Yeh roothne manane ka akhir silsila kya hai
Kai baar mile aur bichad gaye
Bhala majra kya hai ?

Iss banne aur sawarne ki
Iss tootne bikharne ki
Aakhir dawa bhi kya hai ?

Hey Nath,
Yeh das tumhare charano mein
Gira hua hai pooch raha
Mera dil hi kahin behaya kya hai
Ya paap ka ghada shaayad bhar gaya hai

Iss bhava bandhan mein phansa  hua
Meri karun pukaar suno
Kukarmo ke daldal mein dhansa hua
Kar raha chitkaar suno
Davagni mein jal raha
Bheesan hahakaar suno

Daya karo ab hey Bhagvan
Ya ban Narsingh sanhaar karo
Aap ki sharan mein ab yeh dushtt
Iss neech ka uddhar karo
In the quiet thread of Rakhi's grace,
Lies a bond no time can erase.
A promise wrapped in silk so pure,
Of love that forever will endure.

Beyond the playful jests and cheers,
There’s a truth that whispers through the years.
Life teaches, in its gentle way,
That bonds of heart can never fray.

A sister’s strength, a brother’s shield,
In life’s great battle, neither yield.
For in this bond, we truly find,
The lessons that reshape the mind.

When storms of life come raging through,
It’s love that guides, it’s love that’s true.
And like the Rakhi, strong yet thin,
It’s the simple things that let us win.

So cherish every thread you weave,
In bonds of love, choose to believe.
For Raksha Bandhan’s silent art,
Is life's lesson: protect the heart.
Written on occasion of Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi .. for those who don't know .. Raksha Bandhan is a traditional Indian festival where sisters tie a decorated thread called a "Rakhi" around their brothers' wrists, symbolizing protection and love. In return, brothers promise to protect and cherish their sisters. It’s a day that blends playful sibling rivalry with deep familial bonds. While it started as a brother-sister tradition, it's evolved to include anyone you care for, celebrating the idea of safeguarding each other. Essentially, it’s a day where love and obligation intersect with a dash of cultural flair.

Yaha rishton ke jaal mee aapko fasaya jata hai... Aur jab aap uss rishte ke bandhan mee bandh gye aap toh aapko apne matalb ke liye uksaya jata hai....
Jab matlab bakhubi nikal jaye toh aapko wapes see bewakoof banaya jata hai... Aur yee silsila hai jaari iss duniyaan kaa waah re duniyaan tu bhi na jane kitne rang ek girgit kee tarah dekhata jata hai....

Na puchoo haal uss saksh kaa jo apne sakshiyat bhula kee dusre kee kaam aata hai... aur anntt mee usee saksh ko ek pagal kaha jata hai... Waah ree duniyaan tu bhi na janeee kitnee logic lgataa hai.
