The Lightning is a yellow Fork
There is a vast Ocean we call the Universe. In it are Galaxies like Plankton. Within them are Stars Systems like Cells. The Stars themselves are like Nuclei, are surrounded by Planets like Ribosomes, Vesicle, Rough and Smooth endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, Cytoskeleton, Mitochondria, Vacuole, Cytosol, Lysosome, Centrioles within Centrosome. And sometimes in the planets are Civilizations like Atoms. Within these civilizations are People, some Positive like Protons, some Negative like Electrons, and some who just don't give a **** just like Neutrons. Making every single thing an Important (but Not Better than the other) part of the Whole System.

of course i ********** every night, otherwise i'd be wondering about the next Laika in space with some next soviet conspiracy Sputnik hovering while i chance abbreviate a change on hairstyling thinking: jeez, this is a little bit too afro frizzy for a brainstorm, maybe i better opt for Jamaican dreads? economics of shampoo usage, suddenly a large bank account. i do get the idea behind treating nouns like albinos... bleach the ******* hang them to dry in Polaroids... while commercial flights fly at a certain height, and the rich buggers fly high enough to jet-stream in the cirrus uncinus bracket... and they lie to children, they're talking about strange satellites... i can't see satellites, not without Galileo's excommunication apparatus, satellites, as far as i am concerned orbit the earth in a non-visible spectrum of the vacuum... hence their orbiting outside of the visible spectrum atmosphere of the earth, i would not be able to see a satellite for the love of Michaelangelo.

Jamaican dreads
Against the saturated Horizon of dawn, Loitering in the dark timbre Of emerging consciousness - Dissipating somnolence And preemptive despair, Tacitly adumbrate the Yawning abyss. Chastened by the cunning and Lubricious nihilism, Igniting fermented provocations, Silent subterfuge; death, By mirth - the inane; Lament of the mundane. Fallow paradigms, accretions of The last gasp - Evaporating empty liturgies Of suspicion; Charity and equanimity - Lost in confinement, Triumphant avarice bearing Descendants Of intransigence; Wielding imperious Schemes of orthodoxy. Pollard fragments of Silken tapestry, Miasma draped depression Abridging; Conversely, Permuted flurries of anxiety Dislodge The vestiges of meaning That abide In brazen equivocation. Tributaries of dogma reach Their confluence, Watershed moment,   Numinous effusion Streams naked epiphany, The precarious vision - A gesture of providence, Certainty and contingency; Gratuitously derivative, life Equals choice. Verdant branches of intention; And opportunity the vine, Live forward - The pen, my voice, Piquant conduit pouring, Exuberant wine. Footprints found in givenness Underline, Penumbrae of my soul; Mirrored silhouettes, Thoughts and words engender; And in verse adorn Fecund soil, Line after line, The cosmos altered, Continuum of permanence - Artist’s art articulating Essence of my imagination, I proliferate, I design Phrases unique, Participation mystique. Christina was standing by the school gym her satchel over her shoulder her hand gripping the strap her hair windswept when she saw you coming she smiled nervously and said I wondered if you’d come this way why? you asked she took your arm and pulled you into the gym and let the door close behind you the gym was empty there were voices and the sound of people passing along the passageway need to see you she whispered why? you asked I don’t see you unless I stop you in the school somewhere or on the playing field if the weather’s nice you gazed around the gym at the apparatus the ropes the mats she continued talking her voice whispering you looked at her her eyes dark and staring why here? you asked we can be alone for a while she said she took hold of one of your hands and looked at it and rubbed her thumb over the skin you’re only 13 you said you’re only 14 she replied she placed your hand to her cheek we’re going to be late for our next lessons you said so? she replied you sensed her lips on your hand her body moving closer to you then she kissed your cheek then stood there her mouth slightly open thank you you whispered she smiled and went out the gym door and along the passageway you stood gaping at the ropes and mats and the high windows and a blue sky and heard voices calling from the playground from kids at play just another moment you mused just another day.

CHRISTINA AND YOU IN THE GYM
I walked into the cocktail party room and found three or four queers talking together in queertalk. I tried to be friendly but heard myself talking to one in hiptalk. "I'm glad to see you," he said, and looked away. "Hmn," I mused. The room was small and had a double-decker bed in it, and cooking apparatus: icebox, cabinet, toasters, stove; the hosts seemed to live with room enough only for cooking and sleeping. My remark on this score was under- stood but not appreciated. I was offered refreshments, which I accepted. I ate a sandwich of pure meat; an enormous sandwich of human flesh, I noticed, while I was chewing on it, it also included a ***** ******* More company came, including a fluffy female who looked like a princess. She glared at me and said immediately: "I don't like you," turned her head away, and refused to be introduced. I said, "What!" in outrage. "Why you ********* fool!" This got everybody's attention. "Why you narcissistic ***** How can you decide when you don't even know me," I continued in a violent and messianic voice, inspired at last, dominating the whole room.

In Society
Here she come Don't catch eyes She's a jaguar in disguise Back on my feet Money in my pocket The apparatus Of social status He buys drinks for the girls all night And he goes home alone and over She's peered down dark Chicago alleys She's driving and planting her garden Sunday afternoons-so hot touching in The parking lot. Blue skies Cloudless She. Is in my passenger sest Her bare feet beneath her in her seat I swear a kiss I'd long in order Patient lips Patient trigger finger Ive thrown up the poison The definition of her hair up And a neck Sunglasses dark Blue veined Blowing kiss bullets In the rain She's dancing to the radio She's playing Shaking like a fool A gun to my head /I don't twitch Looking into the eyes Lisyening. Waiting

Jacobson Gland
I This is the night mail crossing the Border, Bringing the cheque and the postal order, Letters for the rich, letters for the poor, The shop at the corner, the girl next door. Pulling up Beattock, a steady climb: The gradient's against her, but she's on time. Past cotton-grass and moorland boulder Shovelling white steam over her shoulder, Snorting noisily as she passes Silent miles of wind-bent grasses. Birds turn their heads as she approaches, Stare from bushes at her blank-faced coaches. Sheep-dogs cannot turn her course; They slumber on with paws across. In the farm she passes no one wakes, But a jug in a bedroom gently shakes. II Dawn freshens, Her climb is done. Down towards Glasgow she descends, Towards the steam tugs yelping down a glade of cranes Towards the fields of apparatus, the furnaces Set on the dark plain like gigantic chessmen. All Scotland waits for her: In dark glens, beside pale-green lochs Men long for news. III Letters of thanks, letters from banks, Letters of joy from girl and boy, Receipted bills and invitations To inspect new stock or to visit relations, And applications for situations, And timid lovers' declarations, And gossip, gossip from all the nations, News circumstantial, news financial, Letters with holiday snaps to enlarge in, Letters with faces scrawled on the margin, Letters from uncles, cousins, and aunts, Letters to Scotland from the South of France, Letters of condolence to Highlands and Lowlands Written on paper of every hue, The pink, the violet, the white and the blue, The chatty, the catty, the boring, the adoring, The cold and official and the heart's outpouring, Clever, stupid, short and long, The typed and the printed and the spelt all wrong. IV Thousands are still asleep, Dreaming of terrifying monsters Or of friendly tea beside the band in Cranston's or Crawford's: Asleep in working Glasgow, asleep in well-set Edinburgh, Asleep in granite Aberdeen, They continue their dreams, But shall wake soon and hope for letters, And none will hear the postman's knock Without a quickening of the heart, For who can bear to feel himself forgotten?

I sat on the dentist’s chair With an aching tooth, feeling hell The dentist seemed quite pleased As he opened my mouth and surveyed ‘There are holes to be filled And the plaque to be removed It needs a few sittings At the end, you’ll have a set of fine teeth’! His gentle assurance was so comforting And I thought my jaws no more have to suffer The pangs and torments of an aching tooth! He then, in a narrow syringe Injected something into my gum I knew a numbness creeping in Until at last I felt a hard rock within Now, like an expert work man He began his rigorous craft Loud machines began to boom The chair got flattened From 'verticality' I got changed into 'horizontality' And the overhead apparatus came down Like an eagle swooping down on its prey. With blaring lights blinding my vision, I lay torpid as if my body was strapped The doctor took out his steel and hammer And started tapping and chipping Drilling and boring Though numb, I could still feel the pull and tug The crooked forceps and pliers Made all the nerves in my head irk My mouth was filled with saliva And I felt a sprout of blood inside He stuffed some gauze and resumed his work I wanted to yell, ask him to stop But being gagged, I couldn’t utter a word My pupils dilated My lips quivered My tongue got parched I gasped for breath With a mix of cement and sand (?) He began filling and plastering Scrubbing and polishing Helplessly lying on the dentist’s chair, I wondered What whips and stings one has to endure To end the pain and give the teeth a shine!

Different strokes for different folks, but if I stuttered when I spoke, there is a reason why I wrote, and if you think that I'm a joke, then stroke me, stroke me... Empirical lyrically virile and viral a warrior reborn like he's gone out of style, a rage unabated both non-syncopated and internal/external no meter's abated! You wanted an anthem? You wanted a cause? You wanted a figure to even the odds? You thought I was kidding but now you're admitting that I am the chosen whose broken the clause! Rising in status, my main apparatus, the attitude: platitudes lack the finesse! I'm searching for perfect not anything less! I'm raring to stage an incredible coup, there just ain't a limit to what I can do! Melding the milieus of millions and millions of masses who clash for the chance for the cash, when all that was needed was truth to believe in, significance outed, you puppet let's dance! No bragging, no lagging, and no more sandbagging, the hustle is over, your tussle is weak! For soon we will savor the end of your flavor, fifteen minutes over, your outlook is bleak. I'm nobody's pigeon hole, nobody's fool, I've seen quite my share of arrogant tools, but here are the statements that lead me to greatness: love me or hate me, go on instigate me, ignore me and gasp when you hear of my rule! I'm raring to stage an incredible coup, there just ain't a limit to what I can do! Now join me in raising a fist to the sky, and pound upon pressure to powers that lie. Make diamonds of rhyme-ends and squelter your silence to pierce through the casket that left us so quiet. Their reign is run dry, and nobody buys it, let's hit this at home so they cannot supply it. Prepare the artillery pack in your fire, you're gonna need it , if the bars get any higher, now hear from the jokee, I dare you provoke me, you still talking **** well stroke me, stroke me. I'm raring to stage an incredible coup, there just ain't a limit to what I can do! **I'm willing to take it for me and for you, THERE'S NO ******* LIMIT TO WHAT WE CAN DO!**

Hey you there It's not just me in here Oh how I wish you could hear the coconspirator Or see in a single tear how loud the fear of fear truly can be And how I'm so rarely allowed to steer I AM a dark passenger, MY dark passenger A near prison like constricting atmosphere with no breathing apparatus gear Life can be so impossibly cavalier Death is always closer than it should ever appear, regardless of the mirror In my story I have the glory of a lone fourth musketeer With a crowded asylum between each ear So many questions but not a single agreed upon answer will appear And I've yet to meet this so called infallible puppeteer Though the hierarchy is clear, it passes through an auctioneer "Punish thee if thy finds I should ever veer from thy holy 'engineer'" Hell, they can stay put like a headlight frozen deer I'd rather be allowed to be the one to disappear I did not ask to be here ©2025

I am pure subjectivity I am objectivity contained by a brain I am an entity Inside a body I control my limbs And my organs control me The apparatus for my entity I am a being that seeks understanding While remembering who I stand under Those who sneakily seek to plunder The developing enigmatic wonder In my mind's torturous tundra My mind uses my body as a slave But is also a slave to the shame Of my body's interactions Within marginalized factions There is a fight between the two Like the fights between me and you My body won't quit when my mind is through And my mind stays conscious while my body is blue So I'm stuck in a deadlock With a mentality of bedrock Once I cease to be human I can be the perfect judge When my emotions won't budge I'll see things the way most organisms do Inside this zoo Animals have the flu And give it to each other When we communicate through pain The flu actually seems tame Compared to your game Of taking humanity And leaving an entity After you entered me My somber soul left Because of personality theft My mind moves my arms To block the pain My mind moves my feet To do the same Yet I lost these advantages When I had to walk too far My life only got more hard After experiencing your entropy I became a disembodied entity

my heart is wire and sinew processing speeds and generated power a motherboard that beats, beats, beats you're a human, but baby, I'm a machine I'll keep powered until the day my software is outdated my ram slows down the blue screen of death flickers where I never reboot again trade me in for a newer model my feelings are connected to electricity I've already processed my own abandonment and have already grieved your absence in a million different codes of binary I remember your hands on my keys you pushed all of my buttons knew every function inside and out you turned me on and kept me going you are the spark that ran my code but now, despite my own wishes I'm made to keep running I'll whirl and click and buzz and work and for a moment, I nearly believed that a machine could feel love

The slide has a 60 pound weight limit. The slide has a 60 pound weight limit and It smells like freshly mown grass and a Soaked one piece Ariel swimsuit—the pink ruffles that Cling To a toddler’s stomach rolls as she squeaks and squelches down the plastic Into the dark blue Made in China kiddie pool That has creatures from all levels of the ocean together And she doesn’t care. The slide has a 60 pound weight limit and Has visible handprints on the sides from The toddler holding on for dear life before She gathers the courage to balance on top on her own. The slide has a 60 pound weight limit and Sits in that yard for almost a decade at the end Of the sickly green swing set that lifts up out of the ground Whenever the toddler pumps too hard, And is a end destination for the intense races across the apparatus That occur every Sunday noon amongst the Sunday School kids without fail. The slide has a 60 pound weight limit and Under it is one of the best places for hide-and-seek in the winter, When it is almost buried under the glistening snow And the toddler can’t feel her legs anymore but she doesn’t care because She can’t be found. At that age she has no limits, no mental restraints that Cut her dreams off before they bear fruit. The slide has a 60 pound weight limit, And of the world beyond it she is only a Prisoner of fierce fascination.

temples of time coloring my hands my apparatus for creation of things seen in the mind's eye catch what falls from the sky inside juxtapose yourself for once make yourself symmetrical we are a continuity of memories we are a one of many chains of events my protons my codons copies self similar life creating life an ever sprouting flower and waiting on the next turn is one more glimpse at the great mystery think large you are spiraling towards an event horizon every end result of every action will be held on the surface of a point of no return what do you do? with your drop of a drop of a drop of a drop of a drop of a drop of time in an ocean? well for starters learn to swim then remember you're water go towards the shadow of true beauty an arrow of eros to guide your shine light in the sky catching an eye eros in the wind ethos in the mind body aligned i'm not confined except the lack of ethos in my mind and the lack of eros in my heart and the lack of courage in my will find it in everything around you. As the mediums between ideas and sensations we have a responsibility for that which the gods can only be objects of. And we carry it like wishes on the wind towards the point of no return never forgotten, never gone to begin with.

I fell short of matching all of the stars in space with the raindrops that made its way to Earth Instead, I matched the stars in your eyes with the old pain's last breath and otherworldly love's first The clouds have opened back up for business, booming thunder and zooming lightning Somewhere there, the flash of your smile The beat of your heart The coolness of your waters that quench my thirst for you It's natural to look at nature au naturale Like Italians and Nigerians talking with hands as expressive as Deaf lovers relay romantic verses Clear, nimble fingers that massage my soul within the cumulonimbus and nimbostratus Fueling, flooding, fostering the gods' apparatus You The final form of unfinished paintings Give birth to worthwhile wishful thinking On my mind like taxes and teacher's lesson plans A soft brush adjusting to the sky's new hues kissed like ones we've missed or knew A masterpiece in pieces of Vishnu's vision for when he returns to look for Lakshmi Hopefully time will not be Shiva to end this for me How does it feel to be adored by Indra, when showers descend and drench the deepest ditches to force creation of drawbridges for those dire to cross your path again? - Ifeanyi N. "July's Raincoat" - 7.6.21
A Storm Trooper Remembers Lord Vader was always getting bees stuck in his helmet. Eventually he learned to live with them in his way, it was even rumored he kept a flower garden in the Death Star's attic, perpetuating his own affliction. One time pollen completely clogged his breathing apparatus and when he pulled off his helmet we saw that he was wearing lipstick and eye shadow. He claimed it was for a play he had been writing and that he had to stay in character and then he killed a bunch of us and claimed that was in the play too. Another time we caught him smacking his head against the wall cursing Yoda, bees flying everywhere, we shot at the bees for hours but inevitably didn't hit any, why did we even have guns? One time the dark lord was speaking fondly of his annihilation of Alderaan when huge globs of honey began to bubble from his mouth piece. It was really hard to take him seriously after that but I mean you had to, bees or no bees he could still choke the life out of you from across the room.

A Stormtrooper Remembers
Searching for Galileo,     the race to be first home, In a sea of patients     we climb the probability tree,     walk upon the shore collecting       memory shells, We win the little wars,      lose the big fight, These windows are breathing apparatus,      this ceiling, a blur of tungsten sky,      rain, tears, weep, To rest near to you,      the technicolor sleep,      and I died with you, All farewells are sudden.
