*** DEATH AND RESURRECTION
I slip my tender toes into your familiar bind, your pink laces twist up my legs and animate me. En pointe, my toes are perched upon their boxes, and your silken arms embrace my ankles as if I walk on nothing. Fuetes swing you around and I am a circus ride, turned into painted porcelain, a spinning doll. I spend months with you, scuffing your soles, tearing your cloth, burning your laces, stretching your lips. We become old. One day they will put us both in a tiny fabric box, only to spin when it opens, only to dance at the soft tinkling of a bell.

~explaining light to the blind~ ~for Suzy~ the insanity of even attempting who among us, the sighted, has the capability to clarify an animate inanimate, an untouchable invisible, that can be folded, bent, travel universes unseen at its own chosen speed, even to another sighted and to the blind... imagine then light as something that be recognized from the inside only with in- sight ~***think of the continuum from warmth to steel furnaced heat, that is an element of what is light, the sun cheek kissing, the furnace of chests when you grasp another’s body first time think of light as water, the faucet spigot a measured pouring, that can overshoot, the stream behind the house, a toe tickling masseuse caress, a dam’s waterfall endless crashing, a sea, wave licking sudden raging dangerous blend these sensations that belong to all, and you’ll know light better than most, indeed, light is for those who cannot vision except from the inside with a sight that can be touched, felt, imagined, and which the sightless command better than us ordinary thoughtless indeed light is as simple to understand as   abc, which you have never seen, but creates the words that we all use even share***~

Small and observant, this girl child already loves her solitude. Dark eyes taking in everything for much later, long hair a little mussed-up, tumbling over feet pyjamas, she stands quietly in the doorway of her little bedroom. Across old parquet floors, into spare white rooms she gazes at the grown-ups in their party clothes, secretly planning that someday she will be one of them. Plain white origami birds, suspended from the high vintage ceilings, hand-made from her poet-mother's typing paper, are the only decorations. The soft, indirect lighting, all invented by her father out of simple things, creates a perfect visual tone. This quiet inventor has also chosen jazz he loves to animate the evening for his friends. These grown-ups in their party clothes, yellows, greens and reds, puffy skirts, stiletto heels, men in simple suits, white shirts, thin black ties, talented painters, holocaust survivors, intellectuals, talking, laughing, smoking too much, martini glasses in hand. What stayed with her most was the music, and the way it brought the whole world right to her. Jazz from here in her native city, Soft, sultry Bossa Nova that her soul knew even better. Only some of what she saw that night became the life she chose. The intimacy of observing, of silently forming words around what she saw, talking and laughing with friends, loving passionately, getting scorched to the bone, and the music, the music.... The music would always stay with her, leading her across wide expanses of this beautiful old world to the parts of it that she would someday taste, and see. Her life would become the stretching wide open of her heart. To love it all, to write about it all. to give this back, someday, to the music, and to this big, beautiful old world.

Through the forest of trees from your lips I can read your unspoken words. As each leaf falls the view becomes much more clear. Words that once reverberated through the forest seem as lifeless as the fallen leaves at my feet. I await a rush of fresh air to stir and animate the dead silence around me.

Unspoken words
Sweeping past the lineroom yards With a long hand held broomstick Malayandi was a daily sight, A hard and indelible insight His quiet mouth a taco Betel leaf and tobacco The sweet red rose scent Animate his hands to accent Rhythms in the dirt puddle strokes of savage broom Frolic along sewage groom Gargle alongside marbles Rake up ripple giggles Babbling bubbles fling Driving mild stink flakes To spread morning Knit into a dead neat serenity. On festival seasons vacations Instead of grooming the vassal comes blooming with big vessels Collects cooked food in measures From each and every homestead People pour in quiet leisure Rice in a *** of metal Curry in another kettle Filled with reverence and pleasure His heart is brimming sure All different kitchen meals In a single container appeals All children of the same ranch With many a range of community A bonehomie of unity The children heard from their friend his daughter They'd preserved All those food in cold water And all the while They'd eat from it too This collected meal for a week or two This made the children to look up at them With same respect due to a national anthem Are they more advanced? With knowledge enhanced In matters of life and cleanliness? Malayandi was unaware That his humble duty covered Sweeping as well grooming The children's hearts With arts of rare sensibility.

Malayandi -the Saga of a Sweeper
See the Rabbi.  See him tormented by choice.  See his people.  See them wracked by hate.  See the others.  See their anger radiate outward in glowing spokes, exploding firebrand in a tinder city. On a night like any other, the moon at sixth house, fulcrum of pinwheel zodiac, the Rabbi, awash in lidless starlight, rises somber and makes his choice.  And when the sun is furthermost, he and three of his others gather at the murmuring riverbank where the brown clay is most pliable and begin to dig, sifting rock and root from trundled earth.  Hours spent exhuming the clay, molding it, kneading its muscles, tracing its veins, baking its skin in the starlight.  More hours spent in whispering prayer, the words bent and somersaulting over themselves like tumbling books. See Truth drawn on its forehead, life etched from clay and word.  As the sun rises, so it does, wavering at first, but steadier, lapping at the river, and their faces move slowly across the water.  See the Rabbi speak to it, his words winding its mechanism.  See it stride past the ghetto, wade through the market, and into the borough, siege unto its own. See the others scream for mercy from the kiln of its stare, from their flaming tenements, their crumpling rooftops. See it wade back through the market, past the ghetto, back to the riverbank to kneel in the underbrush.  See it tilt its head to the lilt of a stranded daisy caught in a vagrant gust.   See it caught, too, and see it see.  It sees the colors of Eden in the ferns.  It hears the river churning sediment, fossils, gravel, whirling over driftwood.  It touches moss on a rock; gently rotates its hand to let a grub complete an oblivious circumference.  See it sit in silence. See the Rabbi meet with the others, then his others.  And on a day like any other, when the sun is at its apogee, they slip down the riverbank where it still sits, still.  It ignores their autonomous logic, their homunculus rationale.  They are perversions of variety cloaked in righteous intention.  So it remains. See the Rabbi and his others gather at the murmuring riverbank, shadow conclave in shifting sunlight, then rise somber and decided.  They pin it to the earth as the Rabbi chants, invoking the void in which forbidden knowledge spirals.  It squirms under the power of the Word, mind-forged manacle as incantation.  See the Rabbi draw to a close.  His hand is arbiter, swooping down to smudge Truth from its forehead.  What is left but Death. See its hand crumble in its passage as it reaches for the stranded daisy.  See the colors of Eden darken in its eyes, its own body the dust that denies it light.  See it collapse into itself, the clay that was once animate spilling onto the riverbank.  See the Rabbi and his others shimmer then fade into city grey. The daisy stands still.

I interact with myself constantly So understandably, it’s exhausting The voices speak so compassionately Why would I ever express outwardly? Empathy tree stump to sit just the one I stand on this pedestal to view you My frozen expression needs warmth from sun Only then can I ask “How do you do?” Animate mixes poorly with my buzz The vibrating heartbeat… all I have left All else is a blank canvas, just because I’m trapped on stage, all I have is mind set Leave me alone, I want to be myself My one care is for what can’t speak itself

for logic to work, certain coordination words must be excluded from ever attain a thesaurus privilege, certain words must attain the same consistency as numbers already present, for worded logic to work, certain words cannot entertain synonyms or antonyms, and must be freed from the shackles of sophistry. can one animate object truly objectify another animate object? i ask, because this supposed feminist narrative of man objectifying a woman seems rather bogus - as i have to reiterate - can an animate object truly objectify another animate object?            i "think" (i.e. "i" deny) this to be highly unlikely, near impossible...                   i am innately inclined to the puritanical observation, that i can only objectify an inanimate object, point being: a man can no more objectify a woman than an animate object can make an animate an inanimate object without having to subject himself to hammering a nail into a plank of wood: using a hammer. how can an animate object (a man) objectify another animate object (a woman) - without, first of all objectifying a part of him as quasi-inanimate, namely his phallus?   women do not seem to be complaining about objectification of a woman, rather, a man objectifying his member -   and isn't that the point, to posses an object that you're not subject to obeying?                              once more how can a woman be objectified, when in fact man is attempting to de-subjective himself from his genitalia?                          an animate object can't objectify an animate object -                             since the contradiction is: both are in animation...                   the only time objectification happens is when an animate object subject an inanimate object into a purpose... a hammer is hardly a woman, while is hammer one-dimensional,    a woman is either mother, sister, vice,       a one night stand, a girlfriend, or a wife...    women are never objectified -    they are subject to the self-objectifiction of man, by man alone... and if you think that's post-modernist jargon, let me spell it out for you: T, O, G, E, T, A, H, A, R, D, O, N. objectification happens when an animate object subjects / encompasses an inanimate object into a subject of the animate object's intent...         unless of course you care to disclose a fetish for necrophilia... since only in necrophilia are women actually objectified.

Glass is cheaper than the stone skin tattooed on their foreheads. The palace, a splendid fantasy, half built when the idea will be abandoned. Freedom is a powerful nuisance! Their only sin is looking at the world through rose-colored glasses, make people feel at ease despite distress and disease. The right wing redneck reactionary republicans continue religious slaughtering. *This nightmare scenario should be nixed,* said with a sneer, I hope they’re wearing warm socks. Still, I couldn’t crack the code. Changed envy to admiration to cultivate mystery rare as it is rewarding. The weird thing is the high-end whiskey collecting dust on the on the shelves. Nothing short of astonishing, like the space farers gazing back at the home planet. Distant. They fascinate people. Animate the inanimate environment. Isolation above. Looking back I am ashamed of the mess we are leaving our children and grandchildren. How to allocate these limited resources? The key is to engage. No easy fixes.

objectification is very much a cul de sac, it's a one way street... to objectify is to allow an animate object a confirmation of an all-pervasive control... objectification = the inability of an object to become a self-serving subject - no hammer ever managed to self-serve itself into a role of a screwdriver... to be objectified is to have no self-serving subject, i.e. a self; how can a woman ever be "objectified" when she subjects herself to both the object (that's her body) and the subject (that's her mind) - or, objects to the object stated - whereby by "objectification" there's a reinforcement of being subject to the object... her body, which reinforces her subjectivity - when man is prone to objectification, as pronouncing his extended members, a woman is prone to subjection - irony on the ob- prefix, wasn't it ever reverse infatuation? sure, not all the subplots appear in being "objectified" - but at least being "objectified" does not equate to being subject to a man's will... if you can't deal with the "extremes": is being "objectified" as bad as being subject to a niqab?! besides the point, i can't believe that one animate thing can make another animate thing objectified - in the purest sense of: deeming an animate thing inanimate to be: a thing observed without a self-serving self-aware ******

#The house yawned at him as he trudged to the gate a warm wind rose from his bowel and tore his heart out the walls reflected an emptiness as if they too mourned with him *the one face less the one soul pouring heart's all kindness forever gone* paused the son his eyes grew wet with moisture of rain the house would never be the same again!#

(for the unknown You) – Sweep up a mound of achievements; layer dogwood and newspaper beneath; find a small, secluded shoreline to sleep an endless sleep; shovel money (in at least twenty currencies), some status and fame onto the funeral pyre’s unremembering flame; write furiously with computer or pen, fill out the days’ whitespace with enthusiastic fantasy; revel on a fallacy (or three); win the gladiatorial games in the Corporate Arena; rediscover a bit of ancient folklore; set up nice altruistic societies to make orphans feel infinite; plant a little garden – give guidance in its growth; build four or five fine-but-small boats with richly decorated keels; fight for something worth believing, though I’m still unsure what that means… A(my) guess: lyricism and poetry and prose, musical composition, simply being kind and open; A suggestion(for You): lay Your hand on a patient’s slowing heart in a cancer ward, catch their tears with a jar and meditate on better things to do; give the old folks a laugh; steal the Elgin Marbles back for the Greeks, or, for the memory of ancient Greece; find where lay a psychopathic fascist’s bitter ashes and give them to the conspirators for closure; (for me) place letters on the graves of John Keats, Percy Shelley, Wystan Auden and William Yeats; rescind, abolish, annul, invalidate my station in God’s dysphoric, existential reverie; heap up beautiful words and send them off to sea inside a laptop on a cellophane-wrapped raft; (for both of us) think thoughts uplifting; smile thirty-three times a day (or more); plan for the future of ourselves and others; give just a bit of love to our mothers; sweep the kitchen and the city streets for free; by your garden plant a tree. Beyond these things for us to do, be proud-yet-humble, open-eyed and acquiescent; just accept; all things inanimate and animate, accept.

This late hour, when I empty myself of all experience, you shine alone like a pillar at the center of my being. You arrive like a shadow at night: silent spring of love, you flood my being like moonlight flooding the room in darkness; Silent snow of the drowsy noon, you cover all my wayward tracks and I see only your benevolent steps guiding me on from the door of my solitary home. You are the lighthouse to my soul lost at the high seas of life; I live by your banks and draw pitcher-fulls, Señora, you animate every love that nourishes me.

Spanish Guitars A few years ago, in 2011, I went to a concert of young classical guitarists.  Just before or after, I don't recall, I saw an exhibition of Picasso's guitars at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC (http://www.moma.org/visit/calendar/exhibitions/1101). This poem ensued.  This is one of the lost poems I mentioned, recently rediscovered on an archaeological dig. Spanish Guitars two weeks pass. I have seen two guitars one of wood, one of sheet metal. both were alive, both were inanimate both birthed for display, useful for granting pleasure and heating up le jus d'creation products of a tradesman's craft, animated to pierce my brain and pleasure me with the realization that when you see what I see When you, you hear, What I see we all perforce speak but one language, an alphabet of music, art and love A young, oh so most beautiful Croat guitarist girl, Ana, coaxes an urgency from her love, the blonde wood, she takes Piazzola's notes, as if they were Picasso's thoughts and set them within so days later, the resonance plucks at my temples Picasso, like a little boy, collects collaged bits and pieces of life's stuff most ordinary, postage stamps, playing cards, wallpaper, pieces of cardboard, cutouts from Le Journal, and with fingers delicate sticks and glues discrete notes, individually nothing but pieces of this and that, bits and bobs superimposed on faux woodwork, presenting an instrument tooled to conjures up a milonga^, the sounds of angels dying, a fandango of trembling tones a sonnet of sounds, celebrating human touch upon animal, strings taut, feasts both, a banquet, a  triomphe of sounds that tutors my senses to hear sheet metal guitars imprisoned in museum glass gush sounds of parallel lines and delicate contrasts, A duet of animate, inanimate Virtuosity All is clarified. One language. Many dialects. Both, Spanish guitars. ^ a milonga has many meanings, but here, refers to a Argentine tango dance party

.the moral obligation, to be cognitively dissident; which has to align with Heiddeger's da-sein at some point... a piquant fervor for reality as: static, yet at the same time moving in the realm of the Titans / orbs - time, is a concept that has to match up to the orbs... otherwise all this space... whatever the wind, the clouds... is just static... inanimate... time could only be derived from animate objects, which became subjects which became momentum... the rest, the rest is just space, and its excesses of the vacuous night... space became a probing mechanism, an investigative vector, posit, charge. now you call me a germanophile... like a Caligula or some odd **** kennts ihr selbst:     know your self... which is a reflective form of the reflexive Anglo counterpart: yourself. so i noticed... whenever i become, really, and i mean really reactionary (not angry) i tend to drift into writing in my native tongue... funny... mother tongue, fatherland...    but it's the opposite in Moscow... motherland...    and the epitome of the Cyrillic?                 well... there was a St. Cyrill...             but father-tongue just sounds so ****** stupid in English... maybe in German?    vaterzunge...               well... sure as **** that sounds better than mutterzunge... but hey, preferences preference preferences, not everyone says: om, om, ooh, chocolate,        when taking a bite of a ****

Insane doctor
I’ve always had certain thoughts that manifest as forbidden plays performed privately only in a mental stage I always swore to keep unspoken, unwritten and eternally unprocessed in hopes that keeping it ineffable and far away from explanation would shield it from the soul-draining burden of legitimacy. But the longer I keep these things an embarrassing secret, and the longer I insist that in my every thought lies shame best kept suppressed, the more I realize that maybe the reason that I, like every animate creature stumbling through their earthly existence, have come to condemn an abrasive world for never understanding me, stems from every human’s destructive habit of refusing to understand the parts of ourselves the world will never accept. And what we never realize is that we are the world— sponsoring our own oppression and feeling as responsible as every snowflake in the avalanche.

FOR one throb of the artery, While on that old grey stone I Sat Under the old wind-broken tree, I knew that One is animate, Mankind inanimate fantasy'.
