#weakened
Within the darkness there is a solitary flame. Flickering, nobody but the wind to blame. The wind could do nothing, no, not even faze. Next, the cold and damp rolls right in. Now the blanket of warmth is turned thin. The flame is now much weaker in this gloomy haze. Within these conditions the flame cannot thrive. No, within these conditions the flame cannot survive. Now dying alone in this darkness, no longer the previously warm blaze. These elements can't help who they are. Just as much as a sun can't help being a star. The flame just does not belong here. Where it faces the cold and gloom in fear. It must leave and return, To the place where it can be bright and burn. There it can thrive. There it can surely survive.

The Lonely Flame
The heart is weak now, It's shameful of seeing your face It's screaming out loud, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME? DON'T YOU THINK I NEED A REST TOO?" The smokes and flames bursting out through its pores shows the horrible mid-condition that the heart was in It's poor soul trying to express its feelings with the gasp of its last breathe So weak now, so feeble now, so alone now, so rejected now Why have you treated me so badly, the heart was humbly and meekly portraying As I take my mandatory and needful rest now I want no goodbyes, and no "I should have treated my heart with love and tender cares" I just want to be alone now as I bleed and melt up to the point of my last breathe and then will you see and feel me no longer

A Weary Heart
Strong trees also grow to weaken They stand tall, and broad They claim their grounds, They are known for their astounding beauty in nature, As well as their shelter, and their resources, For as much **** as they can take, The storms they fight, The diseases they endure They still stand strong. - When they weaken, they fall. - Same goes for a Strong woman, compare her to a tree, She stands tall, with broad shoulders. Who also claims her grounds. They are known for many reasons Reason for which aren't always understood For as much **** she takes, The fights, the drama, She still stands strong - It takes a lot to break her down, When she becomes weakened, she tries to brace her fall. - Nothing can brace a fallen tree.

Fallen Trees
When all the eyes are closed, When all the heads are weary laid, When all the lights have been turned down, When the day is at it's end, It is I who waits, It is I who cares, When all the people, In all the world, Are settled into dreams, And it's only the demons who roam, It is I who loves, It is I who cries, I sat on my hands, Watched you walk away, It's such a shame, It has to be this way, It is I who watches, It is I who dies, I am on fire, Burning in your flames. ~LC~

Slumber
There needs to be a change How one does that is an act of courage that needs to take place I must jump from my safe space and into the pool of the unknown I grow weak with each passing day I'm scared I will not be able to keep afloat and retreat back to my safe space shivering with regret But isn't that the definition of courage? The ability to do something that frightens one
