#votes
Our voices have been stymied, choked off, obstructed
Forever. Let every single vote be counted and tabulated
All must live up and adhere to the democratic principles
Let the vote counters do their jobs. The real exit polls
Are taking place now.Everybody's votes are important
Everybody's voices must be heard; we are adamant
About that. Let's the hard working volunteers do their jobs
We will have a NEW soon. Let our fighters use the big jabs.
Leave the indefatigable clerks alone, let them count the ballots
Stop the nonsense. Quit acting belligerent in the parking lots
All votes must be counted. Democracy is a meticulous process
Be patient. It takes time and resiliency to see and reap its success
Our voices must be heard. Democracy has its particular finesse.

I’ve felt the stir of resolution
to throw off careless greed.
I’ve heard the soothing voice of reason,
long thought to be extinct.
So pound your plowshares into words,
turn your anger into votes.
Let’s march together towards sanity,
reclaiming fragile future’s hope.

"Perhaps, Martin Luther King never had a dream,
but he had seen a dream.!!!"
This is a description of my theme;
Rhemes of his speech gathered steam,
which stimulate and create a remembered stream,
" I have a dream.!"
Nowadays, dreams are not the ones you get from a slumber steep,
but are those that deprive you of sleep.
I hope that one day our countries will no longer appoint leaders again, based on their individual gain.
Apart from their political parties, they come from,
but due to one single universal party, we are all going to form
Neither, for the agenda of their race, color nor religions,
But with an organized calendar, and tremendous visions.
The day we shouldn't be interested in their background stories;
popularity, prestige, and their wealthy glories.
not even their power, pomposity storied-houses.
Despite being the lineage of dynamic dynasties,
but just a human being with the visionary eyes for minorities'
One who should not focus on celebrities and Hollywood Stars,
but will celebrate with poverty-stricken, take them as the stars,
well recognized as the sons of the Sun'
helping the country economy shines,
Am looking forward to the election days,
The national quadrennial event, Tuesdays.
our voices will bring impact through our votes.
When we shall elect mentors, role models and not our Idols,
Am looking toward the day the financial crisis will fall through
when our leader's mission comes through.
Focusing on the fact of where they are heading us to,
and where they are taking our dreams too.
The dreams for our country's bright.
Rights and freedom for our countryside,
the ease for our forefathers' long century sight.
I can't wait for that day indeed,
my dreams will no longer be just like a dream,
but actually, film-strip with its factual receipt.

We see the wrongs
Yet swim along
We hear blunders
Yet not bothered
We feel the harm
Yet no alarm
We see scapegoats
Yet sell the votes
See what folded arms has done
Are we not undone?

Hey little fiddle
I drink too much
You smoke too little
I met your mom
And your dad
Your little sister is EMOtional
Groundhogs day sad
I talk without reason
Left a bad man
For his treason
Let go of obscurity
To find the one thing I gotta be
Me
So hey little fiddle
Your moods swing from
Happy
Sad
Mad
American Rag-Tag
Glad
So play your notes
Take your tallies
I'll count votes
Hey little fiddle
Check out this finger
For you, right here
In the middle

at times we tend to think
our democracy is safely founded and secure
only eventually we recognize
the need to constantly defend its fundamental rights
work steadily against their stealthy abolition
watch carefully the words of politicians
lest they betray what they pretend to say
think twice for whom we cast our votes
avoid contenders who too often bray
that these were not their quotes
listen to those who have good arguments
do not unleash too easy sentiments
and in the end cast our votes when called
in short
democracy turns out to be hard work
in case we shirk this
we soon pay the price
unfree societies have known
dictatorship corruption vice
have often needed centuries
to remedy injuries done
to find their four freedoms
and to recognize
democracy remains a living promise
a brilliant idea with many faces
always a work in progress

too much interference
has been extensively run
by those who hold
the kingmaker's gun
as a consequence
of this kind of thing
the democratic process
is under a clouded ring
the flow of votes
which were meant
for the out in front candidate
got subverted somewhere
in the ballot box's victory pate
foreign countries meddling
with other country's domestic autonomy
so the results of elections
will satisfy their sovereignty
transgressors are employing
their technics from nations far away
to determine who'll wear
a crowning array

Something happened a long time ago
It immediately changed and shifted the balance of things
Though we can't really tell when it happened ,
Yet the aftermath is here to stay..
Take a look around ,
look again ...
It changed everyone and everything
It changed the way we shop, eat and sleep
It changed the way grownups hustle and work
It changed the manner in which we raise our kids
It changed the way our children run and play
It changed the way pimps walk and talk
It hanged the ways in which pastors preach
It changed everything politicians have to say
It changed the way people cast their votes .
It changed the way our government operates
And more over,it changed people's trusts in the system !
Something very sad happened not too long ago
Changing everything we really loved and valued
Though we have no recollection of the exact time
Yet the scars are visible on people's faces
Take a kin look ,
Look again..
It changed our lives and how we live
And even changed the ways we travel
It changed the way we think and act
It changed the way we laugh and smile
It change the way we love and trust
It even changed the way we plan our future
and the way we spend our earnings .
It change the way we look at our friends and family...
Something sad happened a long time ago,
Leaving us with many many doubts
and many unanswered questions !

Deeds not words!
They cried in their protest
Marching on Parliament
Intent on their quest
To the corrupt politicians
Who recorded their struggle
But denied them the vote
And left them to juggle
Their lives that equaled
Less than their brothers
Where they had no rights
Not even as mothers
As wives they were thwarted
Their wages their spouses
They worked long hard hours
And still kept their houses
Tea on the table
Washing hung out
The children looked after
To their husbands - devout
They stood up for their choices
The injustice they faced
Were imprisoned & tortured
And fired in disgrace
Children were taken
Away from their mothers
Who were labelled as mad
Their opinions were smothered
Yet still they continued
To rally & fight
Secure in the knowledge
That they deserved rights
That equaled the men
That ruled their world
So they took up arms
And fists were curled
When one was killed
That brave young girl
Who in front of a horse
Her body she hurled
Votes for Women
Her banner announced
So simple & honest
The message pronounced
To hundreds of people
Who just stood & stared
As her breath left her body
The women prepared
To fight their fight
Be true to their cause
Take down the men
And change the laws
So thank you to those
Brave women of old
Who did what they did
Without being told
We now have the right
As women, to fight
Without risk to our freedom
And stand up for our rights!!

DUMPY TRUMPY
Dumpy Trumpy
Sat on his ****
Lumpy Trumpy
Infamous ****
He is not a friend
To the left or the right
And has no live dog
In the political fight.
Dumpy Trumpy
Pats his own back
Bragging how he is
Way ahead of the pack
Of half-witted politicos
With nothing to offer.
He thinks he will win
On the strength of his coffer.
Dumpy Trumpy
Made a big jump.
His gold plated ****
Made a sickening thump.
He waved his money,
He figured it’s enough
To sway the competition
No matter how tough.
Dumpy Trumpy
His Mussolini face
Deaf to the meaning
Of public disgrace;
He figures that even
If the GOP rejects him
He has lots of money
He’s sure will protect him.
Dumpy Trumpy
Plays to the stands
Of wingnuts and crazies
In disgruntled bands.
He’s sure if he curses
The current regime
He can be President.
At least that’s his scheme.
