#vibrant
Everywhere I could be your scent persists. Vibrant. Brissiling. Blooming out to the edge of sight. This bed of flowers that follows. What fragrant colors fill my day: Platinum, pale gold, indigo as you linger on me, rested in rich black soil. So familiar it seems a mirage.

Color the sky with cerulean blue. Know in your heart it will be true. Paint the clouds titanium white. Use indigo to pigment the night. Oh, painter, your palette is as sharp as your knife. May it guide you towards vibrancy all of your life.

44/6 "An Artist’s Palette"
In a world once muted, sepia-toned and grey, Your vibrant canvas painted a brighter day. A riot of colors, a symphony of sound, Chaos and order, beautifully bound. Your world, a sanctuary, a passion's flame, Each brushstroke a story, a heartfelt claim. Colors reflecting your soul's desire, A window to your thoughts, a burning fire. More than just colors, a language untold, Silent spaces captured, a story bold. The tension before the spark ignites, Electricity humming, a sweet delight. A monochrome existence, dull and plain, Your technicolor world, a joyful strain. Hues and shades, a perfect blend, A world transformed, a loving friend. Emotions poured, a canvas bare, Dreams and fears, a loving pair. A puzzle to solve, a story to tell, Confessions revealed, a magic spell. Desires and ambitions, a hidden art, Deepest thoughts, a loving start. Intricate patterns, a swirling maze, Stories waiting, in endless days. Delving deeper, a new sight, Eyes opened wide, a guiding light. A world transformed, a vibrant hue, A colorful mosaic, me and you. Years carry less, a foundation strong, Youthful audacity, a righting wrong. Irony stings, a sweet surprise, An old man captivated, beneath his eyes. Limitations fall, a newfound grace, Endless possibility, a loving space. Art, a way of life, a guiding hand, New eyes to see, across the land. A sleepwalker, drifting through the night, Now wide awake, a shining light. Brushstrokes speak, a silent plea, Untold stories, wild and free. Drawn into the depths, a loving art, Swirl of colors, a beating heart. The world through your eyes, a different view, Contrasts and contradictions, ever new. A mirror reflecting, a soul laid bare, Confronting fears, a loving care. Self-discovery, a journey's start, Liberation and transformation, a loving art. A kindred spirit, a fellow friend, Artistic journey, without end. Exploring boundaries, a daring flight, A place to belong, a guiding light. Unleashing colors, a wild display, A world transformed, a brighter day. A masterpiece, a loving art, A bond that unites, a loving start. Forever changed, a new-found grace, A part of something, a loving space. A world alive, with possibility, Eternally grateful, me and thee

Don’t call me pretty. I am not a delicate Rose to be plucked At your fleeting desire. 𝘕𝘰. I am Visceral Venomous Vibrant. I am not a willow Bending in the time Of your gusts. A pastel shade Of pink, meant to be Seen, but not noticed. 𝘕𝘰. Don’t you realize? 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦.

Pretty
I need a wishbone or a loophole sick of you and this old soup bowl I thought this plague would fade away I thought your chest was my favourite place tarot cards led me astray, I guess I try to never compress, I try to focus on my dress a ring that makes me smile or a vibrant hue anything to forget about you how about when you made butterflies erupt in my stomach how about when you made me think I knew what love is floating on the shipwreck waiting to be brought to shore these moments allowed me to process and plan for my next project, my next attack you thought you could beat me down think again

think again
my thoughts are tangled like your hair flashbacks of that euphoric night at the fair spilling out our guts underneath the setting sun oranges, pinks, and violets fill the sky your diction tickles my mind underneath the violet skies and your arm around me tight a dream, never thought I would wake up but then I did and the ground I hit hard but then you did everything you knew would rip us apart I tried to stitch and mend the pieces I tried to pitch new ideas I tried to rip my own heart so you could finally feel again but we will never feel again, the way we felt the cards are dealt, this is the end of us never liked to say goodbye but you were never mine just two ships that crossed underneath the setting sun that night

Lawrence Hall [email protected] https://hellopoetry.com/lawrence-hall/ poeticdrivel.blogspot.com                         No One is Your Vibrant Stereotype One’s words and one’s friends are not tuning forks They do not vibrate, and are thus not vibrant Nor are they folksy, colorful, or quaint Curiosities for you to collect Poetic verse is free of DNA An iamb suffers no identity It boldly speaks its rhythm clear and strong And metric feet march to their own chosen beat But If you feel that any culture should vibrate Then go sit on yourself and just…rotate

No One is Your Vibrant Stereotype
Vibrant streaks of green and blue and violet twist in your eyes, like a beautiful galaxy and I want nothing more than to catch each shooting star and leave my wishes on your lips.

as the planets inch closer, stardust trembles. lights of green hues and vibrant blues dance overhead. I'll follow the north star over mountainscapes, oceans, and everything in between to be with you.

north star
is my mood ring broken? or did i forget what it felt like to know you? i often wonder if i've numbed to it all, but maybe my heater just stopped working. all the same, i've forgotten the sound of my name on your lips, the air passing through, like a parting kiss. so why let it be spoken at all? is my mood ring broken? all i'm feeling is small.

phonetics.
That morning Glory Which children spread. Over earth and sky, Lingers like secret sunshine. Permeating a multitude of roofs, A multitude of rooms. On oceanside grey, Their precious feet tread. Bringing refresh of light, With every laugh. I gaze at the sand, With remnant proof that Children of light walked here. When I am still, The Wind brings me Whisper of their joy. Giggling brooks, Shining stars, Vibrant flowers of the field, Cannot compare To the sweet music Of Child's contagious laughter, And the light God gave them, Shining clear through their eyes of bright.

Children of light
Awake to radiant hues Sweet sunrise lullabies Cherry red underbelly Take me to your home in the cold night Let us dance a fearless catwalk Don’t hide in silence Let’s dance A naked truth uncovers us aloud

ME
Oh my love, you are so youthful, And you are so beautiful. Oh my love, you are so exotic, And you are so energetic. Oh my love, you are so pretty, And you are such a cutie. Marrying you will do good, Let me be finally blessed.

The Vibrancy In You
i flew away to an unusual reality their skin had a faint glow matching the vibrant hair the personas were moving while i was at a still i caught myself smiling through my numbness as my conscious returned to me the colours in my vision turned dull once again

these romanticized idolized personas
Vibrant blue, swirling above, illuminated by clustered constellations. Nature's boundless beauty magnified through "crazed" eyes, euphoria captured in a moment. The night Bursting with life and possibilities... Then daybreak clears The Canvas.

Canvas
Happpiness what do you taste like? Are you the sweet taste of cloudy cotton candy on my tongue Or the warm coffee I drink in the morning? Happiness what color are you? Are you the yellow color of sunshine beaming in the morning Or the calming ocean blue? Happiness what do you sound like? Are you the soothing voice that says I love you Or the laughter that vibrates my ear drum? Happiness what do you feel like? Are you embracement in her hug Or the feel of the way that this pen feels as I let it craft and stroke my emotions into lines? Happiness are you the vibrant energy of her presence? Because my senses are numb to you and all I sense is the abyss, while warm tears trail down my cheeks and I feel nothing.

Happiness what do you taste like?
I’ll hold you tight Like a memory you think of when you’re low. You don’t let go, Smiling and singing ‘til your heart is full. We’re slow to realize how quickly life can change And how fast these days roll by. It’s like a tidal wave and we’re just floating on. So let’s look to the sky and know We still have tonight. As the fire dances on, I can see us in the flames. So vibrant, so alive. Oh I’d write it out on paper to remember everything, From all the days and nights we shared But I’m so lost inside this moment I hope I’m never found. After tonight I’ll be alone again driving home beneath the star light. When all that’s left of you is your scent, These memories will get me through the days. Whisper to me what you swore you’d never say. I’m hanging on every word. The hardest tears and the hardest years ahead, But I look to you now And feel so safe in your eyes.

Mellow Hearts, Friends, And Lovers
I'm going insane From what I do My obsessions I hold But I foster too. Do I like it, I guess i do Because right now I feel there’s nothing to lose. Run me down Because you might see me In all the shades I breathe and all colors I admonish. But I like it I really do- and I won’t Be restrained By you.

When we Last talked
She is raw like cacao Carries a smell of cinnamon and honey Natural brown eumelanin skin Everyone judges not knowing what's within Sweet like honey, She cures any emptiness carried in a man Mix her with sunshine And she glows within Beautiful big brown eyes No one ever takes the time to notice her People only falsely label her and lack realization That she's the most beautiful and radiant brown skinned girl Sweet like honey Beautiful brown girl Never lose your fire Even when the sun may not shine, you'll still always blind them - Henessy J. Beltre

Honey + Melanin
Oh, the primary color that makes me feel, How is it you compose me to seem unreal. The way you make my lips pop, And how often we make traffic stop. I think of you when I rage, Occupying my mind, while on rampage. The thought of passion brings me to you, With roses entangled around, if you only knew. Garnishing my physique in extravagant ways, That ruby you put on my finger, wow, I must say. Wrapped around my skin, vibrant as ever Red, you make me feel oh so clever. Dominate, what you are perceived to be, But warmth, is what you bring to me. Running through my veins, and pumping my heart. This life you're giving me, please never part. On, Valentine’s, the day that is ours, We’ll lay back, and stare up at Mars. Red, there is no doubt I love you, my body in it all, You add meaning to my life, and that will never fall. The End.

To You, Red
I was doing above and beyond moving on I wasn't sad when you were gone I was doing fine pretending you were never mine I wasn't scared to have you erased When your eyes that I once described as a pulchritudinous blue So deep and true they turned the sky green with envy Stared at me across the room How was I supposed to forget the lies they failed to hold? I was happy till you came into my life I wasn't perfect, but I didn't mind I was a vibrant color in the spectrum of life I wasn't meant to turn so dark as I was mixed with you
