Couplet 1
Thou art not Lord of Eternity — His Majesty alone prevails;
Thou art His servant only, His Light within thy soul entails.
Couplet 2
When in the vaulted realm of souls rang the sacred call, “Am I not your Lord?”
A blaze of covenant arose, Thy “Yes” the eternal accord.
Couplet 3
Upon the Tablet of Decree shines only His command;
Thou art witness to the cosmos, not master of His land.
Couplet 4
He is the First, the Last, the Manifest, the Hidden high;
Thou art but a mirror of His Light — His mercy lights thy sky.
Couplet 5
From dust He raised thee, honoured thee with trust sublime;
Thy spiritual self bears sacred weight — no sway, no claim, no time.
Couplet 6
If prostration breathe not the fire of love and awe divine,
Then standing veils the heart, and deeds obscure the sign.
Couplet 7
With the sword of the spiritual self, sever chains of ego and vain desire;
Yet know thy station — servant still beneath His boundless Fire.
Couplet 8
Each atom testifies to the One, the Sole, Eternal Light;
Thou art witness of the Covenant — not lord, not peer, nor might.
Couplet 9
Arise! Let thy spiritual self walk the chosen Prophet‘s shining way;
There lies perfection, there salvation, there the dawn of Day.
Couplet 10
Let every breath be surrender, every heartbeat glow with zeal;
Each step in truth be guided, every moment spirit’s seal.
Couplet 11
By the Love of God, shine through paths complete and grand;
Be witness to the secrets of the earth and sky at hand.
Couplet 12
If certainty’s flame ignite the dark within thy heart,
Then every breath is light, and every deed a sacred part.
Couplet 13
By the Divine Light let every station glow thy way;
Every breath, every step, every moment, love obey.
Couplet 14
Let thy spiritual self rise to the heavens, yet in God remain;
Every act, every spark, every flame, in His pleasure plain.

Tu ‘abd hai usi ka banda, usi ka noor-e-fazal

Shola-e-iqrar utha, Balā kaha tha Tu ne “Haqq”

Tu gawah-e-misāq hai, na malik-e-jalal, na saahil-e-tamalli ka

Isi mein hai kamal, isi mein najāt ka saaz-e-falah

Har qadam tere raah-e-haq ka, har lahza rooh ka rang-e-baq
Couplet 11

Har raaz-e-asman aur zamin ka tu gawah hai uske dham

Noor-e-ilahi se roshan har manzil teri raah mein
Har saans, har lahza, har qadam, sirf us ke pyaar mein
Couplet 14
Rūh-e-bandagi ** aasman se buland, par Rab ka qasoor na **
Har asar, har rang, har shola, sirf us ki raza mein kho

I smile before the world each day,
But inside, my soul fades away.
My eyes hold oceans, calm yet deep,
Where love once lived, now shadows weep.
You left so soft, without a sound,
Yet your silence still wraps me around.
The tears don’t fall, they hide instead,
Because my pain forgot it bled.

God, if you ever see her eyes,
Tell her my soul still never lies.
Tell her my dreams still call her near,
Though she’s a ghost I hold so dear.
In every prayer, her name I keep,
Even angels sigh when I can’t sleep.
My love is pure, but fate unkind,
She left—but stayed—inside my mind.

I wrote a letter soaked in rain,
Each drop carried my endless pain.
Your name—like a wound that never heals,
Your silence—something my soul still feels.
If love was a fire, I burned too long,
In ashes now, I hum your song.
The paper’s torn, the ink has cried,
But still, I write—though love has died.

The nights cry softly, calling your name,
While silence burns with love and shame.
Every star knows my hidden tears,
They shine for you, through lonely years.
The moon remembers our broken vow,
It hides its face in sorrow now.
My heart still beats, but half remains,
The half you took in love’s sweet chains.

In the hush between two heartbeats,
I heard the echo of all I never said—
a whisper folded in longing,
a sigh stitched into the seams of time.
The moon watched me unravel,
thread by thread,
as I tried to mend the night
with verses too fragile to hold the stars.
I loved like a poet—
recklessly,
with metaphors that bled
and rhymes that trembled
beneath the weight of truth.
You were the pause in my sentence,
the comma I refused to erase,
the unfinished line
that made the poem ache beautifully.
Now, silence sits beside me,
not empty—
but full of everything
we could have been.

O Jaanam Tere kyā bāteṇ, har Galī maujūd haiṇ
Aur har dil ke deewāren kaamp rahe haiṇ jazbā se
Oh beloved, your stories are present in every street
And the walls of every heart are trembling with passion
Jab meiṇ koshish kartā hūṇ apnā dil ko sambhālnē
Ik awāz ātē hai kehte yehī asliyat hai
When I try to control my heart
A voice comes and says, 'This is the reality'
Kis roo lok ke dikhao, hairān dekhte haiṇ mujhe
Dūr chashm samajhe haiṇ ṣūfī, pās sar-gardān-e-ishq hai
Which face should I show people, they look at me in amazement
From afar, they think I'm a mystic, but up close, I'm just a captive of love
Yaad E To Jaanan E Jaan, har sanson e saans aap hai
Chand baatein karna aapke, yeh umar qaid milta hai
O beloved of my soul, in every breath you reside
Just a few words with you, and a lifetime's bond is tied
Apne is kām kyūṇ kiyā, sazā-e-zulm tabāhī kī
Ab nacheez aur har āshiq, bā delash mi-andishad
What did you do this for, a punishment of cruelty and destruction?
Now this lowly one (me) and every lover is a prisoner of love

Twenty Twenty
What a year
It‘s been
A Pandemic
Lockdown
All in between
We took on the news
A lot was said
Digested it
Analysed it
The papers we read
It was like nothing
We’d ever lived through before
It’s intangible force
We just couldn’t ignore
It crept up upon us
Like a thief in the night
Days on repeat
No end in sight
From loved ones
To livelihoods
Completey wiped out
Broken-hearted
Desolate
Filled with so much doubt
Tier one
Two
Three and four
Some followed the rules
Others chose to ignore
We needed some answers
A glimmer of hope
Too much to comprehend
On this never ending slope
Then came good news
A vaccine was near
Would this solve our problems?
No more living in fear?
With 2021 looming
As we ring in the New Year
What have we learnt?
What’s important?
What’s dear?
Maybe Mother Nature
Wasn’t being heard
A deeper message for us all
That wasn’t being shared
Finger on the button
Press rewind
Say hello to your neighbour
Practice being kind
Time to reflect
From this year to the next
How will you change you ways?
What will you do next?
Sometimes the hardest questions
Are the easiest to escape
But a conscious decision
Determines the action we take
A little gratitude perhaps?
Pay it forward?
Lend some help?
Practice daily affirmations ?
Look after your mental health?
I know one thing that’s true
For me I’m sure
I found my purpose
My reason
My cure!

I cross the ocean for you
only for my ship to sink
not by fire or cannon
but by the simple toll of waiting
decay
I feel the water squeezing my chest
replacing my air with your water
pushing into my system
that was never mine

You and i were there
Watching as our worlds crash down
We repaired them
No, We repaired yours
And let mine burn down in the ashes
But that was enough for you
You let me freeze
Time stopped
Nothing moved
Until you pressed play
On my life
Then I lifted your world
And you left me in the cold, again
I tried to call out
I needed help
I needed you
But you didn't care as much you said you do
And went on with your new life
One of many
Next time your world will crash down
I'm not helping you lift it
You'll be alone
Frozen

Ye kahaani meri hai,
Kuch adhi hai kuch puri hai.
Kabhi to hai dil ke paas,
Kabhi inme duri hai.
Ye jo faasle hai na,
Filhaal ye ek majburi h.
Bairhaal to bas yun hai,
Ke sab chal raha hai.
Koi nahi janta ki,
Konsi kahaani puri or konsi adhuri h.

आज भी हुबहू याद हैं वो पल,
जब पहली बार एक दूसरे से वादा किया था,कि मिलेंगे ज़रूर कल;

dard hota hai ab yun dooor na jaaya kijiye
is theer ko ab is dil me hee rahne dijiye
sah na payega ab ye dil ye tho zara dekiye
kafa hain humse agar tho ek mauka aur dijiye

Your smile stops this time in motion
Your gaze seem to chime sweet whisper
This heart quivers in amour emotion
Mine if not yours this heart forfeiture
Translation to Roman-Hindi:
muskarae jo aap, tho ye wakth kyoon rukha
nazaron ne kuch kaha, aisa hume kyoon laga
hume dar hai ki kanhi, aapse mohabath tho nahi
kho gaya hai dil shayad, aapka nahi, humara tho sahi

Kyun itni laparwahe, Raat Gaye
Hum sochte rahe, Raat Gaye

Black image,
white heart ,
golden souls,
which once trampled on loamy brown soil.
Now in the blue sky ,on this day I remember your beautiful colours.
I miss the old school goodness.
To my fathers,
And father Fathers before me.
Down to the route of my lineage.
From west, east ,north and south of the black world.
Their voices remain melodious like the singing birds in calm forest.
Painters of rainbow,
Legends of time,
Flash back in history.
The Africa culture has always been a beautiful peacock,
One that captivates the mind of all men.
On this day, I take the oath to die as a black,
Nothing less ,I stand firm in my belief,
I remain unshakable.
I plant myself under the soil of custom and tradition.
I drink the toxic wine my ancestors left behind,
I promise to slay the roaming lion of civilization.
I remain a royal loyal soul on my fathers soil,
Not a slave in the foreign land.
Africa the Joseph among his brothers,
When I die give my wealth of belief to generation to come, let my soul embrace the hug from the land of legends.
Black I came out of my mothers womb,
Black I will return to my ancestors.
