#underpaid
the dying man…
pumped full of medication
too many operations
i’ve spent too many years in education
how could this be the right occupation for me?
all of these actions rooted in greed
portrayed like it’s helping but it’s not what it seems
quality of care declines as not enough money is made
the staff are underpaid
the staff are making mistakes
they are burnt out, and undervalued
the relationship between the staff and the patients is becoming transactional
it’s a tragedy
this is sad to me
the dying man just needs his family
he needs food, not medicine
he needs real and genuine love

The human mind
remains bleeding edge,
but no one pays for
attic salt,
the best shall walk away
from the spaghettification
of the school system.
And roman candles
will go unlit.
Where's your résumé, Johnny?
He will hunt-and-peck
to create, lest ever
comprehend, his future
as a basement
mixologist,
'cause no one cares
to drink in education.

Classrooms are a thirstland,
an empty canteen,
pre-loved Maggie
—she'll graduate
quite parched,
assuredly vagarious,
modeling merkins
for period piece ****

Minsan lang magkaitim ang puti
Parang matagal ng itim ang kulay
Di na nakita ang puti
Gusto na tuloy magsumbat
Magbilang nang nagawa para sa inyong lahat
Hindi na nga naibalik nang tama ang sobrang serbisyo
Maapi pa sa minsang pagkakamali mo
Minsan talaga .. nagiging madalas ang minsan
