To succeed against all odds
You were strong and you wore pads

Heroes cry too
And Angels cry too
You are a model to me
I respect your bravery
You are my inspiration
And my endearing passion
You tried and cried
And I too tried and cried.

I used to look into your eyes and get butterflies.
Now your eyes tell lies.
It's too late you already ran out of tries.
Now I avoid the pain and hide in my disguise.

sadness and emptiness are two different things
emptiness is absence of feeling, and sadness is pain
emptiness is the feeling of no feeling at all,
sadness is the crippling enabler that makes you feel small
sadness has a cure, or so it seems
emptiness, however, is a very unsolvable thing
