you drive my car and i am a serious man
a passenger thru dumbland
leadened head laid back
i've been allotted time in that liquid sky
totally fxxxed up but it's bin a day hasn't it?
don't breathe
we are gone
beyond we are eyes without a face
our inter-beings all blood tea and red string
in the wrong hands we are a ****** party
hand in hand you are my spider baby
and i am all ‘mom and dad’ at play
i dread you should say 'i don't know what you mean ?'
...but it doesn't come to that
you allow me
and we are smiles unravelling space and texture
miles of scope and no arrest for the wicked
no rest for the foreign
no reign for the horses no horse for a kingdom
we are kings of this country
yet we belong to this landscape
and its negative edible
riding with you (roof down converted)
we joined the new world
we took a journey to the beginning of time
it feels like we're fleeing an extravagant shared criminal act
i look across at you and the brood of thoughts
are so sedate and fantasy ***** and socially writ
that i broker the realities we’ve borrowed (the flux gourmet splatter of dimensions)
and return us to the pair of cannibals in love that we are
firing out across trip america
an invention for destruction
invited back by life's appetite

sometimes-(sometimes);
i love you on the lips
moon garden
paradise hills and november
and it's temple
template of our own world of wild tales .. sometimes
sometimes twine
sometimes silent running sometimes engine purl
under our dark star
the wind rises ; blood and black lace
the pace of our isle
raw and in keeping
sometimes the lighthouse taps
blinking metronome and we use habits of coherence
and practicality and partnership
in some dark corners
alternatives
on another earth
seats an uninvited guest
viewing
(i feel.. sometimes)

If Only Tonight We Could Sleep...
I'm as Scared As You
Hidden in The Upstairs Room
One Hundred Years
And A Thousand Hours
From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea
Please sing me a Lullaby
One of Faith and Doubt
Or of How Beautiful You Are
Dream with me One More Time
Underneath the Stars
On A Night Like This
Far removed from The Empty World
Maybe Someday
We'll be free To Wish Impossible Things
Like Dressing Up in our finest and dancing
Where the Birds Always Sing
Or picking Bloodflowers
On The Last Day of Summer
It would be Just Like Heaven...

Do you name your newborn before you see them
Or after you see them
Do you name your poem before you write it
Or after you write it
It’s yours
you choose

It was easy like a Sunday Morning,
I am yet to get out of my bed longing,
Route 66 was still buzzing and calling,
love to send you pictures of hiding sun this morning.
Endless love is when you say,
Baby, I don’t care, let’s stay,
Tracks of my tears will tell you hey,
Wait for me until I’ll take you there faraway.
Memories are made of this you know,
Being all by myself and nothing to show,
Come join the dance with me even if you don’t owe,
I’ll show you purple rain as we dance slow.

I saw a needle making love with it's self within a field of poppies, egotistical in it's savagery, swirling within a storm of love filled lies. I watched in wrapt amazement seemingly drawn to the promise of a world thought unobtained, a world only in dreams, I drank the sweet nectar of the gods as the poppies cried their tar, bringing an ****** of lies cries a loneliness that brought a beauty one could only dream. Conspiring confusion as I dove deeper into dillusion where freedom was shackled thoughts perpetually repeating until thought became obsession no matter the consequences. Alone in my thoughts, injecting more lies I silently follow further into the the desolate terms of this silent contract.

Almost;
The way he looks at her;
Why I cannot fall in love with you;
I’ll cry you a sand dune;
A cigarette’s scar;
Girls love boys;
Girls love girls;
Paranoia and emptiness – the things in which we trust;
Therapy;
The things that are not real;
My girl’s best ex;
A piano key’s symphony;
A warning for my lover;
An addict’s guide to life;
The ways I bleed now;
A permanent smile.

Sometimes I would like writings to remain untitled.
Because somehow it’s unfair that a profound feeling explained in a whole paragraph that makes my miserable heart ache in an unreasonable way to be reduced in a one-single word.

is a good place to start
but should we make it
to the end it will be the
greatest ever penned

who still used them

you are the soundtrack to my life.
your breath is the rhythm to my walk.
your heartbeat is my refrain.

I can't think of a title
So I'll just go to sleep for a while
It's better than crying
But not as affective as dying
As I lay here with tear stained eyes
Trying and failing to say my goodbyes
My sadness creeps through yet again
And pulls me down into a lifetime of pain
All in a matter of seconds

Say Love
Easy Love
Mad Love
Wild Love.
We are the ones
In the morning
All stars
Let it go.
If this is it
I need something
Too high
Off she goes.
Beautiful Trauma
Lips on you
**** ***** love
Thick skin
Give it up.
Consume
Crazy
Fever
Scars
Silence speaks
Feel it still.
Would you be so kind
That's what I like
True
I like me better
Can it be you?
Out of the woods
Chivalry is dead
Hold me down
I think I love you.

The truth brings you a pain I don't wish for you to suffer;
Lie to me and tell me I'm beautiful, for I will readily accept it.

By no means am I a poet
And everyone knows it
It's not hard to find the time
A make a couple of rhymes
By no means am I a poet
Everthing I write shows it
Rather what I write
Is as simple as flying a kite
By no means am I a poet
But don't ask me to prove it
I just live my life
And I try to show it without strife

Cast me as a tyrant
Label me a saint
Wear me a mask
With time-worn paint
Think me a dreamer
Name me a fool
Fashion me a garb
From the same dreaded spool
Brand me the villain
Sing of me as a martyr
Arm me my hand
With a stolen sceptre
Call me a dreamer
Judge me a thief
Fill me a head
Full of grandeur and grief

I'm a man of the night
I've been branded
My poetry serves no purpose to the world.
I've not been branded a hero,
I've'd seen how those all end:
Unquestionable statues of bronze or gold
or rather forgotten,
disposed after 2 weeks of fame after-death.
I want neither.
I'm no hero, no. I'm no gigantic bearded poet
Hemingway shot himself
I couldn't muster courage
or decandence.
I. made. to.
Stand.
Shoulder to shoulder.
Serving my servers.
Out of love.
I carry. As they carry.
as I get. Carried.
As one shelters me this moment;
As other. Eloquent. Frightening. Dashing and Proud.
as she said;
titles are in fact...

I'm such a sucker for
over explanatory wordy titles
there's no fall out.

Words are written
with rhythm and the brain.
We type and write
our thoughts and feelings
just to release a little bit of pain.
Self pain or others
it really doesn’t matter.
Words are easy with good inspiration.
The hard part is the name.
