#sunandmoon
O’ seeker of the eternal dawn, behold!
Time unfolds its pages, silent yet bold.
Each hour a verse, each day a line,
Inscribed by the hand of the Infinite Divine.
In the morning of youth, the heart ignites,
A restless flame that scales the heights.
Dreams surge like rivers, unbound, untamed,
In the chapter where the self is named.
Midday arrives with its trials and test,
The soul is tempered upon life’s crest.
Fortune and sorrow, joy and despair,
All ink the manuscript with meticulous care.
Twilight whispers in golden decay,
Lessons of love and loss, revealed in grey.
The moon glows high, a witness serene,
The sun casts light upon the path unseen.
In every shadow, in every climb,
Behold the beauty hidden in time.
Night descends with its silent decree,
Time folds its scroll and sets the spirit free.
For life is a book, divine and sublime,
And you are the poet of your own chapter in time.

one day the sun will get tired of the moon
the moon will get tired of the stars
the stars will get tired of the comets
one day the trees will get tired of the leaves
the leaves will get tired of the bugs
the bark will get tired of breathing
one day the ocean will get tired of waving
the fish will get tired of swimming
the boats will get tired of floating
one day the animals will get tired of roaming
the hunters will get tired of chasing
the grass will get tired of growing
one day the ears will get tired of hearing
the eyes will get tired of seeing
your fingers will get tired of feeling
your senses will get tired of sensing
but most of all, your heart will get tired of feeling
one day the days will get tired of smiling
the nights will get tired of frowning
inevitably the end of the world will come
however my world will only end when my smile fades, and my butterflies have flown away
and that will be my end
when my eyes no longer see you
my fingers no longer touch you
my ears no longer hear you
my heart no longer feels you
will be when my lungs no longer push for air
when my heart no longer beats its usual rhythm
that will be my end

dark blue skies
indigo nights
the splatter of white
flecks of light
through tiny holes
on your muddied clothes
and freckles speckled
on skin riddled
with words to say
the transition from day
to the cloudless eve
i cling to you to breathe
as the sunlight fades
and leaves without a trace
hold on to that smile
your hands in mine
fingers merge
and intertwine
you cling to me to cry
as the sun dies
for the moon to rise.

the sun is a pining mess
it had never experienced love like this before
a kind of love that entered its dreams
a kind of love that leaves it wanting to stay awake
to see the moon's shy face
to see the moon's shy smiles
the sun had never before felt its heart sink as it set
had never before felt the urge to stay above the horizon
had never before felt the aching, burning sensation
that this kind of love brought with it
as if it had brought firewood to feed the flames bigger and bigger
it was agonising
yet the sun still continues to grin
maybe a little too bright
that the earth has to complain
and the sun would chuckle ever bashful
and it hides behind the mask of clouds, shy
the sun is a pining mess.

as years passed by, the moon had fallen out of love
the light of the sun was so bright
that the moon told itself that it could never reach it
to cradle the sun in its cold palms
that their fingertips will never meet
and the sun's light had gotten dimmer in the moon's eyes
until the raging fire that the moon had once felt for the sun
shrunk, diminished
had put itself out
but the sun felt the ignition
a spark deep within its core
like a single match thrown into a city doused in gasoline
burning bright and powerful
eating away at the very walls of the universe
and without even knowing
had fallen in love with the moon.

your light crept into the nooks and crannies of neighbourhoods
lighting up the darkest of alleyways
when i step foot into your house
the space shines with colours i never knew i could see
i'll breathe in your radiance
even when your light fades into a familiar glow
i'll bask in you
even when the skies fade into the evening's blue
and all i ask is to feel your embrace
to feel your golden arms around me
even in the setting sun.

kiss me like the dawn
when the light of your sun touches the earth for the first time
when every single thing lights up and bursts into flames
burning bright tongues of fire and warmth into my heart
it showers the hills with orange, yellow light
waking everything up
as if breathing life into them once more
i'll love you even if my moon has a dark side you'll never reach
i'll love you even if when i am awake, you are off to sleep
i'll love you even if the only times our fingers touch
is when the world silences
as it watches the eclipse
kiss me like the dawn.

the sun awoke from its slumber
and rose
i watched it shower the land in mellow hues
and the rays of the sun tinged your skin an orange so deep
you could have been the sun incarnated
casting your light on the flesh of my bones
warming the frigid touch of my fingers
(and maybe i,
your moon)
when you kissed me
it felt as if i'd burn under your touch
as if i'd melt away with a meeting of our lips
and you tasted like fireworks
of all that sparked,
and burned brighter than anything in this world
a kind of sweetness;
a flavour i can't quite pinpoint
i can't seem to get enough of you
(an eclipse)
you're ethereal. divine
ever stunning, ever radiant
glittering brilliantly in the still dark sky
glowing
glowing like a god, a celestial being
and only the light of the sun can touch you.

My body shifts and the world is shaking at my feet
Yet the birds sing all around me as I try to sleep
Is my mind playing tricks on me that I'm unable to tell the difference from reality?
The physical pain when I'm without you draws me closer to you.. but you are bad for me… but as I sleep with this pain in my mind caused by you to make me want you even more
Was it love?
. it's a vicious cycle
As the sun and the moon. I'm the Earth you created me the son who you gave life in the balance of the right amount of warmth and cold heartedness
As I'm just a boy who sees the mind of when I sleep..and the beauty it can be but to have you together awake and happy together the perfect love it could be.. would be the destruction of my body in which I can bring your dreams to reality..
But
Right now you.. together…
You would never need to sleep or to eat you be out all day and all night and forget about the son you left at home while you partied but I'm only 3 years old… I can't even reach the stove
What am I even talking about? I'm crazy go to sleep... It's 6 am already

You don’t need anyone to light you up.
Don’t ever let anyone else become
your sun, you are your own sun.
I believe that it is necessary to find
your moon, the person that you
reflect off of, and the person that you
fall into special kind of gravity with,
but no one should ever become your sun.
You are your own sun and you must
be your own source of light and life,
because once someone else
becomes your sun, and once that
sun falls into another’s orbit,
all of the flowers you’ve planted
shrivel up and die in darkness.
You must be your own sun.

A sun and moon cross like a heart
But are far apart
But always near
And very dear
They bond
They bond
Like how the grass is green
And the sky is blue
They all come together
Like 1 and 2
They will bond
Till forever more
And beyond
….

I know it makes no sense.
You are the sun
and I am the moon
and we were never supposed to collide,
but now that we have,
how am I ever supposed to forget
the one that illuminates me?

Do you think the moon
loves the sun,
anymore,
than his thousand
mistresses of stars?

The sun shined
His bright glory gleaming
Smile costs more than a dime
His glorious shine beaming
And there’s the moon
who silence the night
to declare the sun’s doom
and keeps the love out of sight
sun and moon,
Romeo and Juliet
a story made by fate
a love that ended soon
nobody knew the story behind
how the sun suffered and died
for the moon to live and breathe
and for everyday to repeat
They were worlds apart
But not even the universe
Can forbid their love to start
And their love to disperse
But on one fateful night
Power was given for them to meet
A moment without fright
Leaving the problems on their feet
The rest of the world watched in awe
how the moon gets kisses
by the sun that she misses
the day of eclipse winning the love they fought

I am sun and you are moon.
Caressing countlessly
Cranes and Starlings swoon
With love effortlessly.
I paint the daybreak flawless
with color sinking in
Moon is gathering the waves
while Mantas sink and swim.
You wrap yourself in darkness
with holes and craters deep,
Orbiting a world that has you
shackled at your feet.
I can see it spinning, with
everything it holds.
And I'm afraid that one dark day,
it might just steal your soul.
I can't control your presence
parading atmosphere,
And must not always worry
That the waves will disappear.
Nor reminisce on memories
so many "moons" ago,
That orbit other planets,
of which we'll never know.
And maybe all this warmth
inside my soul so bright,
is overtaking judgment
and misjudging moon at night.
The heat within me rising
might be unwarranted.
So I will just shine brighter
and make flowers bloom instead.

A feeling so soft,
A feeling so strong,
A feeling so light,
A feeling so deep.
Inhale,
Exhale,
This, is no other,
Than a true tale,
Where the sun just won't leave,
But rather die,
To let the moon breathe.
Every step, everyday,
The moon would cry the day away,
Waiting for the moment,
The moment,
Where the sun would give his life,
Not by arrow, not by knife,
But by love,
Love for his moon,
Love for her life.
Inhale,
Exhale,
This, is no other,
Than a true tale,
Where the sun just won't leave,
But rather die,
To let the moon breathe.

I have searched my whole life for someone like you
Though I have lied and told others that, it's different I mean it with you
I have ****** up every relationship I have ever been in...
Fear has wrecked my love for anyone before you
But with you I am not afraid... I am strong
You are what I want... I will do whatever it takes to keep you
You don't ask me to do anything... You never have
You read my poems about other guys, pure fiction
I thought you would leave then... That you wouldn't let me explain
But you stopped and let me talk to you... let me explain
How I cut up my memories and glue them together to make a poem
It was simply astonishing how your anger faded, how you excepted my fiction
You are the Sun to my Moon I reflect the love, the light I see in you
Everything about you I simply adore, I wait all day until the night
For that's when we can talk for hours on end
You have no idea how cold I was before you...
I hope you never learn all the things I've done
I know you have an idea but you haven't heard it from my mouth
How I sought to break guys hearts, how I'd lie to make them love me...
All because people broke my heart... But then you tamed the beast inside
You made her love you as much as I do, you disarmed my traps
With your honesty you won my respect... I've never respected any of my lovers from the past
If I could I'd tell you everything I've ever done... But I'd run out of words...
I was a beast before you loved me that's about the simplest way to put it

The Moon-
It is dark and cold
All my dream is to shine
This thought is bold
And it might be out of line
I see something bright
I wonder who that could be
It has a wonderful light
It give life to every human, animal, & tree
Only one can make this done
It could only be the Sun
The Sun-
Who could that be over there
She looks very sad
I'll make her come over here
What can I do to make her glad
I'll cast my light
I'll do that for her
I'll make it right
A beauty so fair
She makes me crazy like a loon
I'm falling for the Moon
Sun and Moon-
I'll go over there
I will share my emotions
This is a risk that I will bare
But I will make this notion
We will have each other
We will make this done
Nothing will be a bother
It will only be the Moon and Sun
We have in each other a new friend
We will chase each other to the end

Times are hard to catch
Our days never match
Our differences are too much
You are like the Sun, and I the moon
Do you think it is possible for us, to meet soon?
Memories of us together
Will stay in my mind forever and ever
Good or bad, I’ll always remember
And if I do not remember anymore
And refuse to believe forever
Always Remember that mind forgets, but heart never..

"Remember in summer when we used to listen to the smiths and make out in that little hidden park?" He said with a little smirk.
"Tragically, yes." She didn't even look at him. She didn't laugh with him. She didn't smirk back. She looked ahead, stared at the open road, like it was a possible escape plan.
"I miss you." He didn't think. Its funny, the things you regret immediately, the things you regret as they're happening.
"No, you don't." The same monotone voice.
"Why cant we get over this?" Hes not angry, or pleading, or sad. Hes just asking. He doesn't expect an answer.
"Because I hate you." She said. This time she looked away from the road, she looked at him, dead in the eye. Her eyes were welled with tears, they did not steam down her face or smear her make up, they were just there. Like they weren't for anyone but her. And he didn't want to take that away from her.
"You're my best friend."
"I don't care. I hate you, with every fiber of my being, I hate you. I hate you like the sun hates the moon, I hate you." She said it matter of factly, trying to be hurtful. She didn't want him to think she was weak. That she would just give up on this.
"I cant loose you." His voice broke half way though, snapped under the pressure, hiccuped like a prepubescent boy talking to his crush.
She turned to him, lent forward and whispered in his ear.
"Too late." She turned on the ***** of her feet and melted away into the cool winters day, like she used to on those summer ones, where they would listen to the smiths, in that little hidden field, and make out. When they were best friends. When they both knew they could never be just best friends. When they both tasted like the american dream and homemade cooking. When the sun loved the moon.

The colour of her lips were so deep
That I could not leave the room to sleep
For her beauty made my soul leap.
I could not forget her lovely eyes
Or say my goodbyes
For in her mind held all the skies.
Her laugh filled my heart
To the point I could not part
For she spoke the literary art.
Yet I no longer needed to sigh
For there, a clue, on her thigh
As an orchid did lie:
Just as the sun loves the moon
Again I shall have the ultimate boon
With the new day I could again enjoy her rune.
So as I bid my adieu
I pondered on the truth I now knew:
We will speak again after the morning dew.
