#stung
In the garden of delight
At the eve of dusky-night
-Twilight holds no grudge
The brush had been light
You had seen him in his flight
-Lights dimmed, everything buzzed
Hoping that he'd soon light
You hoped he'd light on you
-Before a shark bite you get a nudge
Ah, tender kisses on the skin
Are just a prelude to the sting.
-Blood smudged

Uneven
on dawn
grown
Raw
brawl
while
Stung
plunge
another one
run
limit
each beat
no winning
defeat.

Golden-yellow, silky smooth skin
the color of honey begs me for a taste.
I mustn’t forget, the last time I came to
her seeking sweetness,
I was stung.

A warm summer night,
The moon winked at its reflection on the still lake,
A lively crowd,
The music blared,
A barbeque party,
The smell of delicious grilled chicken made my stomach rumble,
Hurriedly I grabbed some with chips, yanked open a coca tin,
And sat down on the grass with friends.
I had worn shorts,
That was a grave mistake.
The mosquitoes were excited,
A pair of young fresh legs,
What a grand banquet,
They headed straight for my legs and arms,
"Ouch!" I cried after several stings.
"Delicious," they hummed aiming at my legs again and again.
"Hey" I don't give out free blood samples" I hissed.
I swiped my palms on my legs.
Several lay dead.
I had killed their parents.
The mean mosquitoes took revenge,
They landed on my face, legs and arms and stung fast and furious.
I yanked a tube of insecticide repellent cream and spread on my open body parts.
"Now have your feast and die!"

I wish you had wanted me
Half as much
As I wanted you.
I wish you had known
That your words, they stung
They were a bee's stinger to
Bare skin- they dug.
Those words dug,
Below the surface
Until bleeding occured.
I wish you had wanted me
Just one half as much
As I wanted you.

honey bee stung hard,
driving in its venom deep,
arresting my pain!

your name tickles my tongue
lips quivering like it stung
hidden message in my eyes
to know that if my heart breaks
it shouldn't be a surprise

I had a dream that turned into a nightmare,
We were laying on top of a jellyfish bell
We were small and in the center
Our hands were holding each other
Then I looked over and you were gone
My hand was empty and the ocean turned dark
The last thing I remember,
was being stung and waking up in tears.

*There are times stillness hums
sometimes, boredom sung.
The longing it create, stung.*

" I've been stung
nowhere to run
your words are poison
they fill my lungs. "

The original sting stung worse than any hell I could imagine.
Then the pain eased for a while.
But what they don't tell you?
The wound can still hurt, even days after the bee has died,
Just for injecting his needle into your heart.

Six months on, and hundreds of offspring later,
She is much too languid to even move.
The listless queen bee is stung repeatedly;
Her own children have seemingly turned on her.
Once good and dead she is tossed from the nest.
Merciless? Or mercy killing?
I will leave you to decide.

Those words you said yesterday stung me more than any words you've ever spoken to me. It felt like a dagger going straight through me. I don't know if you were serious or not, but they have been playing in my head over and over like a broken record

Symbols of light
shine down to my feet
Seeking a glance
at my carnival of suffering
I stared into the blank space
piercing it with remorse
Dressed to the nines,
Senses blasted then gone
One bite of my life,
tossed to the sea
Pure whiteness
and rust colored waves
Stung by the bee
while pollination begins
Swollen fingers and deep breaths
remove the pain at all cost

All I had done, all I could have
But with a touch,
A single cut,
The blade was old, black as night
It was a paper cut, stung like hell
But that's how I let it in,
My world changed that day,
I awoke,
Where once there was blood
But a vein of black where but a scar revealed
My finger numb,
Cold to the touch,
And everyday I awoke the coldness spread
Like a vine it crept up veins black
Poison ivy creeping,
Awoken in the night my hand upon my throat
Squeezing,
Compressing,
Restriction,
Of breath, I awoke was it a dream
I looked upon myself,
The mirror showed me The horror of the night,
A hand print, bruised flesh was seen
The veins of black had spread,
Upon my body
Feet,
Legs,
Torso,
Pink flesh now discoloured,
Black veins protruded
I shivered, I was cold to the touch,
I was being consumed from within
The darkness crept upon my throat
A voice not mine spoke,
"Blade of darkness"
"Hell sealed within"
"Cut upon flesh"
"To release"
"The evil within"
"What was warm"
"Be cold to the touch"
"Death will follow"
"Once darkness spoke from within"
Fear and terror gripped my mind
As this body know no longer mine,
I had moments before I was gone,
Blacking out I awoke,
What once was me know spoke
Your flesh is mine,
Released to sin, this is my suit
To wear, while you watch within
You are dead,
Spirit trapped,
I will live your life,
While you soul forever rots within.
