Your smokey voice adding a layer of fog To all my thoughts, make my heart jump like a frog For all it counts I be there when it counts Every second and hour on the clock Your words slip out of your mouth like a waterfall and I am parched The conjunction of our energy is wonderful and I offer my heart Clinging to optimism because I often fall and cannot be ripped apart

parched
NINETEEN We walk together through scorched ravines. Cutting paths through ashen yellowed undergrowth. Beads of perspiration, our faces flushed, The gusting wind embraces us as if to hold us back from completing our objective. Six minutes of Safety our mission, premise clear, We attack the fire with grit & opposing force. Smoldering vegetation extinguished beneath our feet And a Jack Rabbit makes his move to escape the approaching flames. And in the distance, the Demon ‘Fire’ & his accomplice ‘shifting winds’ plan their conspiracy, They look down upon there victims with malicious contempt. Hands clenched as if to enjoy their fatal actions…. And with swift exploit they entrap the men. As the men peer through the flames they see Angels on the Horizon. And they arrive to carry off their heroes to paradise. Making their way through the Milky Way……. past Jupiter & Mars, Bound for a place called “The New Jerusalem”. A welcoming carpet of stars marks their arrival and the Son shone bright! And as they approach the city, their smiling faces are welcomed by oceans of loved ones & friends afar. No more tears, no more pain, no more worries…only happiness abounds Because the hotshots from Granite Mountain have arrived home, safe and sound. -Kurt Carman 2013

Nineteen - Remembering 19 Hero's
I love when you share facts about the wild life of the Yard Understanding the world that is surrounding me Distinct codes in things Former-future references It feels like it's gonna rain, the bedroom light makes me feel Did you see me smoking *** in the court Smoking love out my eyes The large trees keep the wind in them Top dancing waves being pulled I am worried by how much i don't breathe or how soft I feel

I am a disaster Smokey eyes and dark lipstick With a choker around my neck I was choked all night The panic attacks The disappointment The sadness It just bursts Into an uncontrollably cries Maybe it’s the darkness Maybe it’s the choker Or maybe, It’s just how I am -s.f

Black Parade
Even Smokey the bear influence couldn't save us from this forest fire. Oil and fire will soon be mingled with human anxiety and distress.

Prometheus, Titan of fracking!
No more sadness No more blues I'm trying to assist her in forgetting about you. Oh, when I took your place. I tried to erase you from her imagination. Yes, when I took your place. I trying to erase all the bad things you have done. Cause while with her I never hear good things you ever done with her. And from my perspective. She's a good woman. So when she mention you. I try to erase all the harm you ever done. No more frowns. Or unhappiness I just want her to know you simply not worth it. Cause my my view. She's a great lady. So when I took your place. I try to erase you from her imagination. By giving hope. By giving her support. By giving her my love. I hope she will cherish more. There are many foolish men in existence. Who use and abuses good women? For no apparent reason.

When I Took Your Place
And as you so lightly traced my skin, All I felt was your longing for the flame that once so relentlessly licked your fingers. That passion that had ignited your lust, was now smokey embers of a dying fire too damp to ever be relit.
