No matter who you are or what you have been doing
at some stage an obstacle appears without choosing.
It may be a person, a thing or one of nature's forces
that can just set you back on your forward courses.
It could also be a sheer lack of available knowledge
called ignorance, about what to do next or to manage
that activity or certain thing you've been involved in
where any progress forward seems unlikely and thin.
There may be other factors as well such as motivation,
issues of health, self confidence and lack of inspiration
which could be affecting or stalling the overall progress
of the situation at hand causing some undesirable stress.
A breakdown in one's personal or business relationship
will likely be a major setback causing a backward flip
especially where the parties are involved in a litigation
and the legal processes stretch out beyond expectation.

i feel so cold and alone
all the hurt i’ve experienced is my fault
i’m so dumb
so naïve
so willing to please
i let my personality fade away
and i don’t know where it’s gone
all the feelings of those months
came back to me
the constant nausea
the paranoia
the want to hurt
the feeling of being
so utterly useless and ugly
i was beginning to regain
some semblance of self-confidence
but when i think of those days
it’s gone
and all i can think is:

planning a future
your not here and the atmosphere is anything but delicate
thoughts roam around the air in a gentle breeze
distance is between us yet i feel your soul as it breathes
an uneasy feeling of the past
scars on my fingers for holding on tightly
yet the rope collapsed
this is present day

and you are not here with me
as i stand and take a look of what surrounds me
the future as i thought it not as clear as it seems
to live life is to be free
seeking into the past
into the role i was perhaps miscast
actions were drastically misshaped
a setback for love got me off the right track
the future is a present to the unknown past

Time feels like two steps forward and seven steps back.
Hope and Faith decided it was time to pack.
So, I smoke another bowl to drown it all out.
That gut slaughtering emotion, of true
self-doubt.
Wondering if any choice you make is right.
Pondering, if there's anymore reason to fight.
Just another smoke after a ****
Forcefully laughing at another joke.
But now I can't even speak.
Time's a great teacher, but it's future is bleak.

I look up for the comfort of the air to wrap its self around me
The brisk air kisses my cheeks and turns them red
This is something I’ll never lose
I stare into the bright light of the flame and let its dance fulfill me
The warmth it emits fuels the hope in my eyes
This is something I won’t forget
I suffocate under the water but it slowly releases me
The coolness of my choking turns my lips blue
This is something I’ll hold onto
I breathe in the dust as I walk out at dusk looking for a new day
The grit leads to my coughing on every breath
This is something that won’t last

Assurances will not make any kind of difference, what a good performace will make
Word of advice will suffice in the present, however not good enough for the future
Better learn from your own mistakes
Learn to accept them
Later also learn how to correct them
Gain an experience of your own
Enrich your experience
Avoid same old mistakes
Learn from new mistakes
See to it, make sure
Every new mistake adds to your experience
As and when you learn from a new mistake
Rise in level of experience will enhance the level of confidence
Definitely the ability to take risk depends upon level of experience
A setback or two must not deter the level of confidence
Experiences from past will rescue when steps are taken in the right direction
In a moment or two
Things never settle
Efforts need to be made for everything to get settled
Confidence and experience serve as a key for taking steps in the right direction
Think in the present
Think about yourself
Think about your willingness to go an extra mile as and when required
Think about all the efforts that you make
Think and focus in the present,
Better to concentrate on the present
Pretty simple
Life becomes pretty simple, if you are a good listener
Listen to the rest of the world, but always have a voice of your own
Over a period of time it will bring a sea difference in your life
Just wait and have patience
Wait for the right moment of time to come.
Hope never fades away in life since expectations get built up over a period of time
Be truthful to yourself
Be honest
Hope will always remain an eternal part of your life
As and when expectations are met and even when expectations are not met
In either ways, life continues since success and failure has always been part of everyone’s life.

I sit at I home trying to get my **** together
I am out in the public trying to show that
I have my **** together
Some days I have my **** together better than others
Some days anxiety floods my brain
with thoughts that
swishes swashes and sway
in random unpredictable directions
These days when my **** isn't together
I walk in public faking the best laugh and smile
Happiness is a decision
but my happy is an empty piggy bank
that broke before it was even used
