#ruse
What should I do?
I told you the truth
And now it's being used
I'm protecting myself with a ruse
To hide all of the lies
And the fact that I cry
As I cut my skin
And watch myself die
But now you're telling my mom
Just when we were starting to get along
I don't know what else to say
But I hope you have a good day

Your face exudes
Beauty and innocence
And the temptation
To trust is overbearing
Your lips part in alluring smile
But play with words
That whisper sweet nothings
Which should fall on deaf ears
Your eyes are glazed
With desire and longing
Yet are overshadowed
By deceitful intent
Your hands are delicately soft
And your caress so gentle
Yet your grip on my heart
Crushes like iron
The curves of your body
Hold me in trance and though
My mind screams in protest
I fall deep within you
The blatant truth slaps me in the face
But I cannot escape you
And I welcome your ruse
Just to press your body close to mine

cling to your fear, before it disappears.
you feel it pulling, its always there
it is not always clear, when destiny is near
when you hear it calling will you even care
you can always turn on the path you walk
even if into the trees away from the flock
there's a righteous path many must walk
in which humanity once took stock
I fear the path I may have to walk soon
for it may lead to my very doom
will I submit to the devil's ruse
knowing this what shall I choose

A girl with beautiful, golden hair
Waking up early and roasting my hair for days so they think it's pretty
Stylish clothes from designer brands
Saving up money for months to buy some stupid pants I don't like
A beautiful face
Using masks, scrubs, rinses, and lotions to look like this
Do you want me to go on?
Because trust me
This girl has so much pressure
That's not the real her

"Let it be red,
let it be ripe,
let it wield ruin..."
"Lick and taste the desire...for vengeance"
"The fire within, from the dragon's cradle,
lies and gives heat and pure breath, as spirit, wild.."
"Orb burned black,
Tender center attacked,
Pure blood refract,
See through pain
To the crack."
"Queeny damsel feigning need imperiled,
She whimpers sweetly, like a pixie's herald.
I spring to service, with comedic tripping,
All the while, behind that mask, her ruse is dripping."

Love is a dream
Without truce
To have you and to see you
Sleeping next to me tonight.
The sun is rising
It is a dream
To see you wake up this morning
And to have your ******* in my hands.
I am very elated being with you
What a joy to have you under my roof
From the first day, you have been my choice.
Love, I will carry for you the cross
I'm very happy to be under your weight
From now on, and forever, you will be with me.

The thickness of my skin
is getting tested again.
Another pair of eyes, plotting lies,
masquerading smiles & playing pretend.
When will the childish games end?
I’m having to keep my head held high—
—for the millionth time.
Since unlike them, I cannot function off of
protecting my pride,
as I value my integrity.
I don’t believe in smear campaigns;
it’s all vainglorious.
A slim chance of being victorious.
A long song and dance,
waiting to shift blame—
—the minute an ankle is sprained.
I guess that’s why I could never get into politics.
I’ve never been one for tricks.
I’d rather devote my time to common sense and absolute truth.
Because if what you’re saying is true,
you wouldn’t have the imperative to spend time crafting a narrative, and let sincerity bear the responsibility.
Instead of letting your ego tear into your credibility.
