hi I miss my ex
I left School that day feeling warm and excited Thinking’ bout last night, and the trip, I ignited Wearin’ the bracelet he made me After he emerged from the stage mist… Got in the car Put it in drive With my best friend Nothing but vibes Drivin’ so fast, we’re going wild Turn up the music, wonderfully styled Texting our loves, the party goes on So let’s dance till the break of dawn let’s dance till the break of dawn! Arriving at the hotel, finally here Looked out our room window, blue sky so clear Take a picture, I got his I showed my friend, she got in a **** Then later we got in the car Put it in drive With my best friend Nothing but vibes Drivin’ so fast, we’re going wild Turn up the music, wonderfully styled Texting our loves, the party goes on So let’s dance till the break of dawn Football games and restaurants, the trip was a buzz The most fun two nights that there ever was… Now he’s gone but I still remember those nights Where me and my bestie played with music and lights, But now our loves are gone, no more texting heights… But now we’re- Drivin’ so fast, we’re going wild Turn up the music, wonderfully styled Texting our loves, the party goes on So let’s dance till the break of dawn let’s dance till the break of dawn! The break of dawn…

Off to Oklahoma (The Best Trip of My Life)
I know easy, You know difficult, I say, thank you, You say, grateful, You slumber, I Sleep. I wrote poem, You wrote verses. I stay humbled, You stay elated. You eat meals, I eat food. I say, tell me, You say, spill the tea. I say, attractive, You say, rizz. You hear vocabulary, I hear words. I say, you show off, You say, I flex. I say, How are you? You say, What's up, dude? You say, bussin, I say, good. I enjoy simplicity, You enjoy complexity.

Speech from Simplicity
Huff, puff, smooth bravado, This instrument that I play, Whisks me away into smokey, Desolate lounges, Filled with women in black and red dresses, Who would otherwise look away, If not for my silky, suave vibrato. Ooh, how I can carry a tune, My fingers dance on the keys, Like raindrops on a windowsill, The neon lights at the door, Buzzing outside in the cold. The only thing warming up, This cold little soul, Is a finger of rye, Adjacent to the ashtray, That holds my neglected cigarette. She watches, She listens, My face turns purple, As I pour my heart out on stage, Out in the open in this vacant place, With only the few of us around.
