Scraps for the fire.
Poverty may not necessarily laziness connote, and riches may not necessarily hard work indicate. The hand of providence does its major role play, as successes and failures to each man is assigned. Work resiliently before the twilight of life, extending the goodwill of fortunes divinely earned, thus leaving indelible footmarks on the paths of existence, because one day, die we all must, and our deeds to future generations will loudly speak.

Life's Reality Quote
It'll speak to you when you wake Thus I wallow long in bed Till I hear and duly feed Then I'll rise and eat the cake It'll speak to you when you wake Even at times before bed Then you're waiting as dawn peeks To run with no time for cake It'll speak to you when you wake But ignore it before bed In nightmares it'll haunt your sleep Till you walk and forgo cake It'll speak to you when you wake Why study when time for bed Books are weary but sleep's sweet Thus you'll eat and keep the cake It'll speak to you when you wake If not you'll despise your bed To roam and ceaselessly seek For real food and not the cake

Eat the Cake
Worthless, worthless, says the preacher Self-important, self-taught teacher Worthless, worthless, says the buyer Yet your price was never higher You get it cheap, and start to boast And then leave nothing for the host But emperors are like their clothes Their what and whether no-one knows You take their treasure in your hand And feel your fist is full of sand You search for some security See things become, but never be Why seek to run a perfect race, If past the sun is only space? Would you rather face the end? Or live to chase the wind?

Teaching a Child
When is a stray fleeting thought a senseless young fool's distraction? And when is my sudden idea a true sage-like inspiration? No weight of long experience No number of tried and tested No diet of **** it and sees seem to provide me true wisdom. But then I slow and I listen I daily make time to wait I consider what it is that God has to say and Wisdom opens her gate.

Slow Wisdom
[Proverbs 4:6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Proverbs 7:4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and to insight, “You are my relative.”] Do we really need all the friends we can get? Are we truely better off not knowing? Will it all work out when we get to the end? And do we need to get tough to get going? I prefer to listen, I'm learning to wait and hear from she who is wiser. I've made some mistakes, but I'm learning from those who trust the Word as adviser. As I sit and I read, as I ponder and pray my sisters begin to make sense. My sister is Wisdom, my sister is Insight, my first and next line of defense.

She-Wisdom
Wisdom is better than rubies Its harvest is better than gold I’ll obtain and use this wisdom Like the greatest people of old Wisdom is deep and eternal And guides me in meaningful ways Its sense and witty inventions Add wealth to my life and my days Wisdom says, “Hearken unto me And riches and honor will flow Follow my ways purposefully And your riches will surely grow” Wisdom will fill me with treasure Rejoicing in daily delight Bringing me love and contentment I’ll keep wisdom first in my sight

Wisdom (Prosperity Poem 32)
"Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you. Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. She will place on your head a graceful garland;     she will bestow on you a beautiful crown." [Proverbs 4:6,8,9] @desire.is.dope 2-24-19 0133HRS

Wisdom Proverbs
…out of the mouths of Babes... Everything comes to those who wait. Even a worm will turn. If wealth is lost, nothing is lost. If health is lost, something is lost.      If character is lost, all is lost. If knowledge is power, how did he become POTUS? Love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who you are. Revenge is a dish best served cold. There is no shame in not knowing; the shame is in not finding out. A penny for his thoughts is price fixing. As you make your bed, so must you lie in it. Don't wash your *****      sheets in public. Empty vessels make the most noise. Every man has his price. People who live in glass houses should keep their pants up. Shrouds have no pockets. The Devil looks after his own. To err is human, to forgive... Meh! What goes up must come down. You are what you eat (hambuglers?) Let the punishment fit the crime. It is better to smarter than you appear, than to appear smarter      than you are. If you lie down with the dogs, you get up with the fleas. Money earned by deceit, goes by deceit. Open confession is good for the soul. Patience is a virtue. Behind every great man, there is a woman being paid off. Ask my companions if I be a thief. All roads lead to imprisonment. If a job is worth doing, it's worth doing well. The big apple is rotten to the Corps (a soldier's lament) A journey of a lifetime begins with a subpoena. The chain of command is only as strong as its weakest **** He who pays the ****** rents the room. It takes a hundred lies to cover one lie. It's hard to juggle sand. **** the chicken to scare the monkey. Like father, like son. No man can serve two masters. One may as well be hanged for sheep as well as lamb. Nothing is certain but death and Tax Returns. No rest for the wicked. Russians make strange bedfellows. Give a man enough tie and he'll hang himself. Fences make bad politics. Little things please little minds. Fish always stink from the head downwards. From the sublime to the ridiculous is only two questions:      What did you know? When did you know it? The truth will out. The longest day must have an end. Pride comes before the fall (so do a lot of other deadly sins) Put your money where my mouth is (S.D.)      Red tie at night. Donny's delight.      Red tie at morning. Stormy gives warning. Seek and ye shall find. Speak as you find. Out of sight. Out of mind.

“How come the saddest writes Seem to get all the likes?” There’s literally a proverb for that, Misery loves company; Even in the 21st century.

Proverb
When they see you and guy a-walking, They call it courtship; When they see you and a guy a-talking, They pass knowing smiles and well-meaning quips. When both of you are a-quarrelling, They say that the rough must come with the smooth; Before long, one is a-sorrowing – Not for the row (as they think) but over a lost tooth. And then both of you stop seeing each other, They think it such an unpardonable crime; All that time trying to bring you together… ‘Tis a shame the wedding bells are ne’er to chime.

Simple Folks
Guarding the heart. For everything you do flows from it. Looking forward, I will never look away. I can only move. Correction is all I have. Wisdom is who I seek. Your face is the greatest splendor there is. Messiah, your eyes are upon me. Your love constrains me. I may be distressed, but I am not fearful. He is my fear, he is my only astonishment. It's inevitable, I will always love you. Woe is me if I did not have salvation. I am a person with impure lips. I will plead with your face to the cries. Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nostrils. Why hold them in esteem?

I wanna seek you
For seven  hours I was dead Dead in my Luxury lord's bed I did not care of weather or bread Life Lynchs me, she's  so rude I turned left to the wrath of hell I must tell you, hell is already here My flesh cozy  but my soul yell This is the earth that we do share I had said Kamar is nothing but a myth I am twice correct But today we meet Call the priest who collects my tithe Should I be blind after I paid for sight The poor man, honey do pour His healthy heart in tattered coat The rich man, stings do pour His thorny heart in costly coat I stole from myself, the truth For I am blind of the lamb birth I chose the Golden crown of earth For I am sightful of the lustful fruit I woke up to the man in the mirror Tears roll his eyes while I smile Seven hours and it was lemon without fresh lime Sour and bitter saint of the carcass in the mirror ©Kuvar

Needle eye
An aged woman her sight waxing dim Waits at the gate called patience A stalwart near the inner court; Whose walls are named deliverance Bolted by a door of praise. She watches at the gate intently Though many hurriedly egress & fewer enter by it. She tells those who will listen: I look for the one coming from Edom The one dressed in red The wearer of the royal turban The giver of the eternal ring. So old She is rumoured to be immortal Her name is Kheftsivah Though some call her Beulah But I prefer her sacred name; Wisdom & the secret one not yet given. She is there still, they say Ancient yet standing Watching & waiting            © Qwey.ku

Proverbial Conundrum
The expression of art is the art of expression; To express oneself may give good impression You may not always have success when you do your best, but let it all be to God and He’ll do the rest. Don’t be frustrated, Let live and let go. To learn to forgive is to show that you know. Strive to proceed it may not just be for show Learn to live life the best way you’d go.

Proverbial
Despair unrequited asked of me; *where do proverbs, poems... such wisdom's go to die?* do they expire with the ink of thought penning themselves out of imagination? or simply tire of expectation? tell me & i would scourge that unenlightened grave-site, guillotine its immoral keeper, & decapitate him upon a writer’s block! show me & i will breach earths bowels wrenching words from darkness' depths with the light verse of celebration & a calligrapher’s paragraph of praise. only then should i rest in piece from wordy passion scribed with its, novel pleasures & when spent,  upon my epitaph do write; *'she was consumed, birthing words to life'* © Qwey.ku

Fallen Words
I aspire for the ambition of a mother: lifelong and untiring. Ambition to realise her passion: providing serving loving learning teaching and persisting all hours with no reflection on reward but for the pleasure of the pursuit of her God-given trust - and so to serve royals and her King with contentment. Then uniting with Him after a life well lived, with lives better lived for knowing her.
