#preach
Jesus Christ said to count the costs of following Him. Although He said His yoke is light, I have taken Him on very heavily. Thus since it is written those who do not work shall not eat. I have a hefty appetite. For behold, I work very hard for His majesties sake, Jesus Christ! Yet, I will starve before I steal. So, I ask for my meat, and am granted, as my Father in heaven Delights in His child. What can be said, when the self-evident God steps up to defend my name? Would you dare come against me, when the sovereign creator of your very blood and lungs, Lifts my banner!? Beware rejecting the children of Christ. If no worthy home is found to give them rest in your town, it will be better for ***** and Gomorrah on the day of Judgement. Do not delay, if you hear the name of Righteousness spoken, Lay your hands on charity, and be eager to offer support. For the Lord Himself shall reward you a full reimbursement multiplied a hundred fold. There is simply no better investment available on earth, than Jesus Christ.

You can't buy faith, but you can give in it's name.
There's no sunlight in this new place of mine It's cold, unlike my old room— Warm, and cozy. It took leaving that house To know my love for that place. Even my affection was rooted in convenience— Don't preach true love to me

I'm chasing the high, you're chasing fame You talk about change, but I'm the one with the aim Gonna light up the night like a spark No rules apply when you're running in the dark You do your thing, I'll do mine No rivalry, just different climbs... ~RitzWrites 💋

Midnight Rambling
You examine everywhere for reasons to fight Goal you achieve almost every night Perfection and purpose put out of reach Are there other methods to help than preach? You make known exactly the ways I've done wrong Can't tell drive to satisfy you is strong And success a maybe despite trying my best Do you understand what it's like to be depressed? Instead of pressure provide pearls of praise Small portion of patience will go a long ways What will you trip over next? Disagreements leave me perplexed Staring at me as if you're scrutinizing a stranger Alarm blaring loudly though there is no danger This life we live occupying to get old Sighing when shoulder turns away from me cold I climb expectations but can't quite reach the top Longing for lighter limbs so I wouldn't tire and stop Your unfulfilled wishes are all engraved in stone Won't be pleased until words are carved into each bone When experiences are good they are beyond great Light a room with brightness you radiate Sparks fly from skin's surface moment we touch Stomach starts rolling the second hands clutch Stuck to potential so vast at the start Before bogging under the heaviness of my heart

Preach
Base to Major Tom… all around me now is sound, it seems only yesterday, in dreams, this keeps happening, we keep thinking eventually finality drops the curtain, and we become our own selves… found in our hardened parts, as when one knows the riddles all come with one right answer, or the riddle is not fair. Ezekial 17, comes to my mind, because I happen to live in chapparel, of the sort they have south of Lebanon… mentioned in the riddle. Who ignores the money side of things… you know, the business of being creative distributors, agents allowing the artist to premature. It's your show, kid, this is all you wished for, make it last.

Past the Clouds of Aristophones
There was once a preacher named John Who'd preach the holiest gospels to anyone    Using a holy face    He'd condemn the gays       All the while praising the Father and the Son.

The Preacher (limerick)
May be I should have, Never come to this town. With all my accent and tradition,I made myself a clown. When I first entered, I wish you would be around, To teach,to preach, to save me, when I drown. We are no match and I think I let you down.

Infirmities of Advanced Age Vex Me
Can you see how much we need each other?! All this “I am a rock I am an island” solipsistic claptrap exposed cos we need Joan and John at the supermarket and the folks at A&E and the techies streaming lifelines while we figure how to be Now, behind our keyboards we might not be warriors, but worriers who realise how close we are to crashing and yeah, some **** cash in but let’s not forget so when the panic lifts we figure novel penance and say our goodbyes So hugs are currently virtual, but our care for once is real Maybe that’s the virus deal Maybe we’re done with u ok *** so when we re-emerge we can see clearly **** sapiens are one species and switch on to each other, sisters and brothers alike Being nice is for life

Unwanted things that we buy Just to fill a void that we feel inside Unnecessary battles that we fight Because we rely on our own might God is saying, let Me fill you up Till your cup overflows I will bring peace to your soul. If you would open up your heart to Me I'll show you what tranquility means I turn broken pieces into a masterpiece If you don't let Me, I don't overstep boundaries I am here for you, whenever you're ready.

The reach out.
the guilt the sin the hatred within thinking if we disguise our hair in an obscure form of veil they will conceal our madness thinking if our skin prevails after years of stacking knitwear they will shred our sadness then asking us why are we so vain? why do we masquerade our emotions to keep us sane? when all your attempts strives to conceal what’s underneath underneath that cloth you call a veil underneath that skin you use for sale the morals the virtues the lies you preach It is just another mask you wish to keep

About a Girl
While the world can preach of greater pain and complain of shallow hearts that never look out of themselves. They never see the the windows of their heart that were nailed shut from outside.

Shallow Hearts
This guilt They coloured in peach Had some stitch Have you seen how they preach This melancholy Wasn't so holy Drives some crazy Throughout their daily This curiosity Wasn't from sympathy Thick nor tiny Longing for tranquillity
