#lining
Midst the lorn, forsaken land of living, Came upon, a lonely girl. To this wasteland she was giving Purpose, brightness like a pearl. Fire burning, souls alike, Both with tears and hearts with spikes. Tried their shot at ****** love. What was thought, a peaceful dove. Made of ice, then made of fire, Each fought so hard this endless war. One day low, then one day higher, No matter what, they yearned for more. So hear me darling, My silver lining, When you feel you are of coal Please remember, You're my diamond, And you save this empty soul.

My silver lining
A trace of light That's all you and I look for when those mountains fade behind descended clouds and that ache in our shoulders crumbles under the fire of this rain the moon and all its pieces lost to all these thoughts you and me, the same and most different awake and restless the silver lining of this charcoal moon is getting harder to find until comes this eruption of warmth and a storm of pattering fear that if I start counting seconds you might disappear so, I guess it goes without saying everything you've always known these nights go by in wonder of how to build you a home

The silver lining of this charcoal moon
You carry with you pick-pocketed fairytales In hopes to find something close enough to home That can fill your glass half-full You sew yourself into white noise Soak your hands in spring waters That rush down memory lanes Putting together a mosaic of the greener grass you saw On the other side Stitching together fragments of light From the end of the tunnel Even bought yourself some rose coloured glasses To see the silver lining of every cloud But it all falls short When the tree stops bearing lemons So, what does life give now? Besides some shade and something to laugh about...

A Compilation of Clichés
when I lay, I wonder... I shudder with terror... !!!a future without you!!! a giant heavy rock drops right on my chest... pressing pressure as I try to gasp for air ...sudden relief washes over me...               !.I’m feeling.! It’s just for few seconds though... .then I’m right back to NOT feeling. I called this my silver lining.

Silver Lining
Your thoughts are far from the ground, Like cumulonimbus clouds thundering by And pouring rain.
Life seems to pass by, scattered and wispy
with the sound of the wind like a whistling train playing as you stare at the elusive silver lining. The pit patter of Peter Pan being lost dwells heavy in your heart, As you revise the sequence of the cumulus memories. Life paces As you ignore the malice and bantering of the crowds Sticking your head above up into the clouds half-deaf to reality in the room. You have a foot in a fairy tale, And one in the abyss.

Clouds
All my old writing was as accurate as premonition, as if I wanted a tragedy to JOLT ME from my sleep. The silver lining is I suppose I got what I wanted, it just wasn't the tragic self harm I dreamed of. More like a tragic mistake that destroyed the boy I once was, and the girl I once knew.

The Silver Lined Tragedy
You were a passing cloud. I was the Sun. You left. I stayed. But you colored my skies.

Outline (Haiku)
Soft pillows of feathers. Brush my face with ease. For just a moment nothing matters. For a minute, my worries seize. Sheets wave like the oceans. Cover me and cuddle me. Such an unexpected nuance. Just enjoy being free. I really needed this break. This still moment of nothingness. But now I'm back for my own sake. And I finally got to confess. I notice that with being alive again. And my body finally standing on its own. There was a cost I payed for my zen. Chaos emerged, while I was all alone. Even though I didn't move for a while. All my problems are awaiting on a pile.

A dark silver lining
You made your way into my dreams again last night I no longer try to fight it Your presence, however ethereal, makes me warm And by the morning sun from me you’re torn

In The Night
Someone asked me what makes me the happiest in this world. honestly that  is my Boyfriend, I know its dumb, But he's my soulmate, If there is such a thing, That's him, He is my silver lining, His texts keep me going, The hope of knowing, That he loves me, And i love him, Is enough to rain in the negativity, That people shove my way, Every day, I look forward to talking to him, To seeing his face, To telling him how much he means to me, I am always going to love him, I dont care what anyone else has to say, I know, In my heart, He is the right person for me, I'm glad I met him, I now have something to look forward too in life.

Someone asked.
Always better to smile than a frown,                    for smiles mean happiness                 has greeted your thoughts. And that life isn't always **** ,              that there is always some gold lining in those grey clouds hanging around.

Gold In-between The Grey
The sun still burns through clouded renditions, eyes black with the tainted sorrows of a darkened days. Still burned beyond the visual acuity of subconscious glaring. But we still collect pictures in the ashes of clouds. Tombs of imaginations folly.

The Sun Whispers Behind Clouds
This too shall pass You have just got to hang on and get through this. No matter how hard it rains today The years of sun will come again. Even if it feels like it won't stop, That the rain will drown the whole world The sun will come out And you will be fine You will be okay Even if you cannot imagine that right now Because of all the dark spells in your life, Just believe that, okay?

This too shall pass
Engulfing sorrow Agonizing heart Set under a heavy stone and above the bed of thorns A healer called time The healer of wounds Can it make the tears stop Can it end the pain I wait for a silver lining A ray of light To save me from wretched blues For all I see is a dark night

Broken
“Do you like it like this? Do you like it like that? Just tell me which way you like it” Thank you, J.T. Jim Croce sang it, too. “No, it doesn't have to be that way.” Remember the Blow Monkeys? Jackson Browne Quoted, saying, “You have to take the trouble, To try not to be misunderstood.” Words spoken in the thick Post-mortem. Not ever remembered prior to. Neurons wired to align to emotion With the perfect elixir of chemical responses Lining up Wake up to choosing sensibly Utilize hidden wisdom As preventative care leaps to the front of the line.

Does it Have to Be This Way?
Unlike constellations, There are no dots for me to connect This figure that I trace To make a silver lining out of you.

It's like a blind man leading a poor man He sees the cliff coming but he doesn't mind Grateful to have company on the way down Thinks the cloud they'll fall through will be silver lined It's like the teenager who just gave birth to a still born accident It hurts real bad inside But she's grateful that if she returns all the diapers everybody bought her She might have enough money to buy a prom dress Thinks the pain she feels will be silver lined It's like the boyfriend of the young girl who just gave birth to the still born child Grabs his cleats out the closet Grateful he still has time to get a college scholarship Dumped her over the phone Said he didn't like the way her ***** *** whined Thinks adding another drop to the bucket of pain he will never feel is silver lined It's like a young man who works at a gas station With dreams so big he'd have to run the world to accomplish them Grows up, gets marrieds, gets settled, and settles Knows the only way he'll make the TV is by beating his wife Grateful that strangers know who he is Thinks the jail time he's serving is silver lined It's like the grown man who has everything the boy at the gas station ever wanted Doesn't want it, wishes he could give it back, but can't So he buys houses, clothes, and Cadillacs Grateful to have enough Thinks the silver lining on his silver Cadi is silver lined It's like the overwhelmed twenty something year old who puts a lock on her own knife drawer Too proud to get help Grateful that she has a boyfriend willing to take the brunt Of all the problems she can't see past Thinks the inconvenience of the knife drawer is silver lined It's like the boyfriend of the overwhelmed twenty something year old Who takes the brunt of all the problems she can't see past Grateful he has a key to the knife drawer Thinks the blood on the floor will be enough To show her there's more to the world than the problems she can't see past Thinks his mama's heartache will be silver lined It's like the staunch republican who got laid off last year Now he's so broke he's on unemployment, food stamps, and TANF Grateful the democrats were in control during the great depression Still voted for John McCain Thinks the bumper sticker on the back of his car is silver lined It's like the young family started by a couple kids Who insisted on having a couple of their own Now they're too poor to afford but too rich for assistance Begging their government to bail them out of something that nursery rhymes got them into Grateful their truck didn't break down again this month Thinking raising hungry babies is silver lined It's like a poor man leading a blind man Who knows the cliff is coming Knows they're going over and doesn't really mind Grateful to finally be in the company of someone just as blind as he is Thinking the cloud they'll fall through is silver lined.

Silver Lining
Endless steps to shifting rhythms in a haze of noise and palpable judgement. Apologies tend not to resonate when the damage is done and the horse gets Higher, stomping to the beat of a privileged heart. You learn quickly, and with a heavy sense of defeat, that you can never do Enough. Expectations climb with a pace unmatched by any effort imaginable as It's prearranged. The waltz was always going to play out like this because you put on the grafter's Shoes; paid for with the gritty coin you caught in your teeth. Hidden among the crowds and the polished leather, there lives another breed with A human face. One not twisted and distorted by throwaway reproach. It takes a surprising level of regard to pick them out as they often don the same Paint as the revilers.   However, these are the gems that can cut through thick skin, penetrating the Mortar, to find flesh. They pulse with you and quiet the frayed edges. They are your rhythm and your reason for perseverance. They see to it that your resentment doesn't have time to settle in your bones. They are much too few and far between.

Was everything okay for you today?
The lines in between the green are full of dirt and human feces, but I find comfort. Yellow, bright as the sun, but they don't blind me. Red, hot with anger and hate, but they don't burn me. Grey, fading to a dim, cold, colorless stone and yet is still my silver lining
