#leafs
There was a Maple Leafs fan
Who knew they played as good as they can
The Maple Leafs cheer
There's always next year
Now. The players can work on their tan

Absent minded
Amidst an unfamiliar zone
Heading head first
Into the great unknown
Like a dog
Chasing a leaf
That's being chased by the wind
Into the road

While walking and looking at the trees
With some leaves burned by the sun
Meshing with the green coloration
A single tree carrying the whole weight of a painting
But why can’t I see the marks of the brushing
Why can’t I see the warmth of the red leaves
Or the happiness in the spared green ones
Why can’t I see the beauty in it
Why this painting seems to scape life
The strangest feeling as I know,
In this tree I see most of what reality can be
Is the most my eyes can capture
Is the most my mind will shape anything
Ever
Yes it is life, and it is reality
But a cold one.
Or is it a burning one?
Seen by frozen eyes

Oh, tree...
Please listen to me?
You don't have to do anything...
Just listen as I sing...
I've no idea what I should do...
I can only talk to you...
I wonder if I can wrap my arms around your bark...
Maybe then I won't feel so dark?
If I take one of your leaves will you be hurt?
Will your roots dig deeper in the dirt?

Your fingertips planted trees on me.
You left a forrest
full of life.
But with no rain
there was no healthy leafs.
So the forrest crumbled.
And I cut the tress down
for I did not wish
to have a memory of you
on my body.
Yet, roots of the forrest
remained deep beneath my skin.
And I will now forever,
if I wish or not,
have memories of your fingerprints.

As every season holds it's own description, the feeling that fall gives is one in it's own kind.
As the night comes upon us in the early days of fall a soft touch of a cool breeze to clear your mind.
Here in the south a much welcome time of year.
As our nights get longer, days become shorter, we know Fall is near.
The green leaves of summertime almost turning over night.
The morning dew glistens upon the tree tops shining ever so bright.
You can hear the soft beginning of the leaves falling to the ground,
You can listen close as the animals start to play, walking across fallen leaves making a crackling sound.
This time of year brings so much more than the falling leafs and cool night air.
The sweet aroma of cotton candy and funnel cakes coming from the Fair.
Children laughing and screaming as they ride the carnival rides.
Boyfriend's playing games to win their girlfriend a prize.
Its getting colder As the months of fall come to an end .
We say goodbye for now and prepare for Old Man Winter to begin.

I am free
like the leaf blowing away
dancing in the wind, traveling farther than I've ever been.
A new season brings change
and death so I can start anew.

My emotions falling down
To solid ground how low can I be
So crumpled and old my problems getting faded away

Never masking emotions
Only sweeping them inwards
Collecting verses of unspoken regrets,
like autumn falls...

The harlequin trees celebrate
With a red, yellow and orange
Ticker-tape parade
On all the streets of Ontario,
Announcing the onslaught
Of another miserable
Canadian winter.

"Rushing feet cooled by chilly cement pavement forces windows closed and turned up chairs on porches."
"No more night sounds or cooling off dewy ******* while trying to catch that breeze which brought night's scent."
"Gone are the tall wet thirst quenchers that now compete against frosty opponents on the other side of the door."
"Tamed hairs beneath hats understand their season of gapping winds are but gone for now, replaced by stiff crispy swirls of air."
"Yet this is earth's annual sigh from the clutches of a sun kissed radiation demanding coolness into our enclosed spaces."
"Sip slowly, remember fondly, til the next season is upon us, bringing with it a hope and joy of a new morrow."

My thoughts are wilting upon the branches of
my reflections, each one a shade different from
the other that like shimmers of a sunset linger.
I wait for the instance when assumption is oxidised
and in heavy nothingness they fall wilted on my
mind, they are cushioned beneath so many more.
My minds creativity has descended and now rotting
in colourful expiration. And for now my thought don't
wave, till the next time buds of thought form and reform.

Where life permeated through lushest
Colours reaching high, the heavens
Jealousy of such radiance as beautiful
As any sunset ever seen was eyed.
There wrath was swift as clouds of
Rage darkened and a kiss from the
Heavens graced Bark and leaf. All was
Still as ash fell earthwards in onyx tears.
Where elegant shades flowed, wisps of
Extinguished colour blossomed then faded
To oblivions nothingness. The heavens are
Beautiful but hide ominous jealous rage.

autumn is not all about fallen leaves.......
its about leaves clad in satin red.........
its about logs wearing mushroom hats......
its about a caterpillar flying as a butterfly......
just as love is not about losing your self .......
its about gaining someone who found you..........
