Fear is the key, Fear is the key
Fear is the key to unlock all the doors
Fear can make you stand still, rooted to the ground
Like a giant oak tree which has stood unmovable for decades
Fear can also give you a turbo-boosting propulsion
Like a rocket launching into space at supersonic speed
Fear can lock the propulsion inside of you, hidden all along
Like a giant mass of icebergs beneath the ocean
Fear nothing but fear itself
Fear is good, Fear Is Bad, But Fear Is Necessary
Fear Is Necessary For Your Survival, Know Danger
For If You Know Not Fear, You Know No Danger
Know Fear, Understand The Fear. Embrace Fear
But Do Not Let Fear Control You, Rule You
Fear Is An Insidious type that can Creep Up Behind You
Always There Lurking In The Shadows

i linger in the tub
long after the heat has left
i wait until it chills my bones
shivers down my spine
i linger in the tub tonight
bubbles sparsely sit on the surface
my pain is slowly unearthing
an iceberg, deeper than expected
an iceberg, how much i’ve been neglected
an iceberg, dive into my tempest
an iceberg, the weight of deflection

I remember why I keep looking back
This was the time I lost you
They say we’ve improved
Yet every year, still lost
And sad
This really isn’t a poem
It’s the hard earnest truth
And it doesn’t take
A Hemingway to see it
It just is
A lonely iceberg to come a shore
Never no more to be again
And this is okay

Glistening snow-white tips
Polished, sanded, draped with
the finest of tapestry silks.
Blessed with splendor, splendid splits
Crevasses, curves both shallow and steep
deep slopes stretching from mountain peaks.
Lustrous caves lurking, smirking as black crows write their prose
nose-deep in the blinding snow, with their ***** little paws.
Puffin, stay wary of blizzards and storms
deafening. Creaking floorboards of ice sheets
slip from beneath its tiny red toes
no edge to cling to, nor air to latch onto with its wings
a red stain left at the bottom of the pit.
Blizzards' lay a new layer of fresh snow
covering the deep scars of warmth
carved into the mounds of ice
splashed with red paint
Stained for millennia to come
Melancholy; the artist behind the painting.
Hollow breaks in serial layers of ice
Seeping black, oozing onto the ocean floor
Not floating, bloating, or staying,
Drowning.
Inside,
etched into the lining, a thousand silent words
Melting with each new sunrise,
in which ray's they bathe
Wash from meaning
drop.
by.
drop.

You see my icy disposition but never questioned
Is he as stone-cold as his eyes?
Or is it all a lie?
I have gotten good at masking all the damage
I have gotten good at presenting the perfect package
But underneath the visibility, you would see oceans of feelings
You see the tip of the iceberg, my ego
If you never dive in deep then you'll never truly know
Who I am when I am alone or when I feel at home
The scars underneath these modest clothes
The tender warm waters birthing a rose
For my prince charming that can melt my throes
Waiting for the day I can really show
Who I am without attack

as an iceberg
our warning hot air
is nothing to him
but a passing breeze

If the icebergs are melting away
How come my mother-in-law
Is still intact?

Defrosting the freezers
are far from ****
Nonetheless
They're on the rise
Caps are melting
Shelves are falling
Glaciers are passing ships
in the traffic lane
They're on the move
This is no song & dance
The poles are looking for
new real estate and
They're coming soon
to a neighborhood near you

We embarked upon a titanic voyage to a new world.
It’s said that behind every great man there's a great woman; But a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.
7 bells rang late that night, as our ship stuck fast; between the devil and the deep blue sea.
Fingers frantic! tapping code…—-…
Sailors quickly battened down the hatches and stowed away the Riff-raff, for they knew fine words would butter no parsnips, Better here than there in third class.
Some fiddlers on the deck played “Nearer My God to Thee", As the bubbles rose from beneath the sea, come buckle down boys for the devils to pay, come hell or high water he’ll have his pay.
Mothers row, land lubbers row, it's time to leave this god forsaken place. pulling hard for freedom.
Ten steel decks split and snap, as they join the ***** and hundreds either shriek or pray; as La dolce vita slowly ebbed away.
Mercifully the cacophony descends ever silent, as fifteen hundred souls become neither fish nor flesh, rotting from the head down.
Save our souls •••- - - •••. … — …

you aren't the jack to my rose.
you are the iceberg to my titanic
because no matter the course i planned to go,
you were meant to cross my path,
hit me,
sink me,
and **** everything
i was and was supposed to be.

You say I am a diamond
In the middle of the ocean
Least you know, about me
So take caution and precaution
For I am an iceberg
Steady in my flow
Harmless, but dangerous
Yet, I mean to glow
***I shine
I welcome
I drown
I wreck***
I am plumpy downwards
And just a little above the waves
So many hollows
And yes, I have a cave
Within me, I am no one
Not a spirit or a living soul
No one invited me, to come
As I somehow drifted from the pole
***Alone adrift
Alone forever***
When the sun shines
Tears of joy roll down
Making my head smaller
And I begin to drown
***Slowly
Painfully***
*I am melting
I am melting*
Down

you were seasick
but you don't know
where it came from
or where you feel
the discomfort
the agony
or the shooting pain
you lose sense of time
and days were taken for granted
the sea monsters
were pulling you down
and the creatures
that only existed
in your mind
broke loose
like pandora's box
they liked walking
on your ribs
and would feel their
curves and edges
tremors and heartaches
continued like how
the trees quivered
and were carried out
by the hurricane
people look at you
as if they've been to
the peak of your
highland mountain
from the base
but only sees
the tip of the iceberg

Heard was the “Iceberg dead ahead!”
The titanic continued to keep its course
The captain feeling heavy as lead
Already feeling the weight of remorse
The impact reflecting their woe
The iceberg has so much more below
They began to sink to the bottom
The ship filling and breaking
Falling like the leaves of autumn
Those trapped start peeking
Under the iceberg lies a show
The iceberg has so much more below
Light begins to dance in the ice
Moon shining through the night
Little stars dancing like mice
More to be seen than at first sight
Entirely different view down low
The iceberg has so much more below
If only they could stay forever
Watching the beauty that lies there
As they fell down even deeper
Their lives complete, void of care
Because of the true sight and glow
Of an iceberg that has so much more below

These words, floating to the surface,
come from amongst an ocean of others.
Sleeping, ripening, unformed,
swimming in darkness, some rising
into green, translucent waters.
Titles, remembered images, voices
of loved ones, colours, scents,
secret moments never spoken aloud.
More, and more still, residing,
unseen, unheard, unknown
beneath this iceberg of words.

What lies beneath the surface?
All the media hype?
What lies beneath your internet,
your TV and your Skype?
What lies beneath the input
that boggles your wee brain?
What's up with politicians?
The jingoist refrain?
What's up with Miley Virus,
in her fairy leotard
******* bare for all to see...
hoist on her own petard?
Is it all it seems?
A world that's just sick?
Or is it a great metaphor
for a magic trick?
While the Great Houdini
rolls up with a band
you're watching smoke n mirrors
and disregard his hands.
Televangalists preach prosperity!
Filling up the pews,
While you're watching people
going crazy on the news!
What lies beneath Denver?
The Dome of the Rock?
Are there great growing cities?
Or is all of that just talk?
There was once a mighty ship
they thought would never sink...
Folks, what's beneath's an iceberg
**and it's CLOSER THAN YOU THINK!**

When did you become so cold,
like an iceberg at sea,
You are lost to me,
waiting to collide with an unsuspecting victim,
Your secrets are hidden in the dark deep waters,
never to be seen,
that's the part of you that hit me,
and left me here shivering.

Are you aware
of the music you make, Cricket?
Can the grass be ticklish to your toes?
Tickled like trapped foes.
Toads and toad bumps.
Frogs salted on salted Slugs.
Creamer for the chocolate night,
Are you alive?
Sentimental over fingerprints,
my wings wandered
three centuries ago.
Where they went nobody knows.
Three lights captured in my eye:
one is the bedroom
one is the trumpet
one is the theatre
Hip bones have red suns.
Flowers crawl on skyscrapers.
Barns and bugs with spotted bellies.
Cracked a mirror on my foot,
wish it stayed the evening
and for supper.
Could have gone home
but instead, harvested Winter
in Mexico.

he jumped off Golden Gate
they never saw him again.
cracked his skull on the pavement
the boys kept kicking.
blood spilled everywhere
suicide note too soaked to read.
he arrived to the party in a Ford Escort
he left it in an ambulance.

Still I fear
You have little understanding
For how I really feel
Tip of the iceberg?
Baby, you can't even
Comprehend the
Glacier
Underneath
