#groom
Something old
the scars on her once flawless skin
done by the groom
something new
the plastic surgery on her nose
because he had broken it so badly
something borrowed
the smile she always wore on her face
That was never quite right anymore
something blue
the bruises on her body
that covered her almost from head to toe

That rabbit with the purest of white fur
Into the jaws of that wolf, it dived
But while that wolf thought about dinner
The rabbit thought of every way to survive

The mountains skip like rutting rams;
The turtledove is cooing soft;
Like fleecy lambs,
The floating cloudlets freely frolic far aloft;
The fruiting fig tree offers figs; the vine
Grows grapes prepared to wine;
The wedding bed is green; and wedded life
Begins for Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, and Wife.
Th'angelic quire has tun'd each voice
To one accord and thusly make
A joyful noise
Sweeter than angel food (or fairground funnel) cake.
The birds and bees of Heav'n are in the mood
For love; the day's as good
As good could ever be; and every life
That here is bearing witness loves the Man and Wife.
Dearly belovèd bride—betroth'd
No more—enjoy your faith's reward!
Gorgeously cloth'd
In modest chastity you only could afford
By making daily sacrifices, Queen
Of queens—whose vast demesne
Is Paradise—you fit the crown of life
More than a conqueror through Him who loves His Wife.
Glory to God who gave to man
Woman, that they should be one flesh
And share one span
Of life, who made the groom and bride, who now enmesh,
Eternal, and who gives away the bride
Unto the Son who died
For her, yet rose to resurrected life,
That they could live forevermore as Man and Wife.
No greater love has man than this:
To lay his life down for his friends.
In wedded bliss
The Lord who died for us, whose will nor breaks nor bends,
His countenance more fair than Lebanon,
Shall hereby henceforth, on
And on, through time eternal, share one life
With her, His bride, through endless time as Man and Wife.
Lord Christ is God, and God is love,
And God is love in overplus.
Come from above,
By lovingkindness, Jesus Christ is love with us.
Rivers of living water (Christ's love) flow
And floating gardens grow.
The way, the truth, the love, the light, the life
Of men and women, Christ with love will sate His Wife.
The father of the bride and groom
Blesses the current new good news:
Th'eternal bloom
That is this rose of Sharon shall not fade nor lose
The savour of its fragrant blossoms white,
Pink, purple, blue, red, blight-
Untainted, perfect as the spotless life
That lives within this Man and now His spotless Wife.
One life, one love, one soul, one house
One home, one spirit, by God's grace
To spouse and spouse
Belong, provided to the bride who sought God's face.
The Lord provides; the bride no dowry brings.
With eager hands she clings
His hands in hers, and holding onto Life,
The man and woman mix their lives as Man and Wife.
The truelove bride of Christ (the one
Good man and perfect alpha male)
Shines like the sun
And puts the happy ending on the Hero's tale.
All that is good and great and true and fair
Are present in the pair
That here embarks upon a wedded life
Still to remain for one forever Man and Wife.
The veil is lifted. See, O see
The comely bride who is no more
A bride-to-be!
The sacred rite perform'd, O come let us adore
Him and His help meet. Bless the Lord, my soul,
My soul, O with your whole
Heart! and rejoice! for Love an endless life
Possesses, all is right, and you're the Goodman's Wife!

Today is yours tomorrow
is everyone’s wonder.
Do good today
for a better tomorrow.
Since God promised
no one always a blue sky.
Groom in the shade
of the clouds
to bask in the sun!

When you are blushing and hiding yourself, your beauty is reflected by your thin dress.
you are bowing down your eyes, and my heart is beating .
your eyes are like lake in which i want to sink .
your lips like leaf of rose.
you are not less than moon , like everyone want to see moon , like that i want to see you again and again.
by coming in my arms and let remove the veneer of shyness
Get so immersed in me that one body is two lives.
I want to behold you every moment, do not blink my eyes, let me see your such a spirit

I remember when I first saw you
in such a state,
shifting with the direction of light,
viola shaped,
the boudoir door slightly ajar.
Rings exchanged,
veil removed,
the bells had chimed for us,
and then for
ships in safe harbor.
The pitter patter of
surf cascading in
from an open window,
otherwise hushed,
turnt and *****
dimples showing
whether you smiled or not.
Turnabout was fair play
--azure hues in moonlit pastel
caressing the folds and ties
around midnight’s chemise
--the lure of velveteen
and vast soft canvas of pearl
--areolae circles and quaint triangles
in the thick of things,
gift-wrapped in elegant fur.
Belle-chose, under
the waxing, waning crescent
of dainty omphalos, yawning in chiaroscuro,
red-faced and piqued,
quite shy coming out of the shadows.
The batting of lashes,
the lingering scent of bouquet
--like the seduction of flute song,
I followed and followed
until thoroughly lost within you.

today
as i join
my life
with yours
i'm vowing
to be more
than what i've
been before
i vow that
as your husband
the one that
you put your trust in
your thoughts
and feelings
will find
safe-keeping
in the depths
of this heart
that keeps beating
for you
i'm vowing
to be your
stronghold
as daylight dies
and the night
grows cold
you will
find warmth
in these arms
meant to hold
i vow
to be
the shoulder
you need to cry
on
i vow
to be
the friend
you can rely
on
i vow
to be
the rock
you can lean
on
i vow
to be
the foundation
you can build
on
i pray
this day
we may
flourish
in honesty
in unity
singing
a new song
in perfect
harmony
and with
a determined
heart
i vow
to love you
unconditionally

Rose, hydrangea, tulip, lily
The place is on its aesthetic bloom
I walked in the aisle slowly
And at the end I see my groom
The march ended, and I sobbed heavily
As I saw my love lying peacefully.

The thief3
The princess looked at her face
That became red and filled with fear
The princess said:" why did you this worst thing?
Why did you convert their fathers to be nothing?
They can't move or talk or even think
You made them fill of losing hope sink
You deserve to die or even get hurt"
The witch woman collected her intelligent
And said with yellow smile that was gained
"What do you say my sweetly girl?
My daughter that I will love at all"
The king smile at her and said"
"Dear, you have kindly heart"
He looked at his daughter and said"
Don't accuse any person without evident
Go to your room and don't go out"
The princess' face got red and
Her tears were descended
She run with that boy to her suite
The king ordered her to stop
He ordered the boy to be dismissed
She cried very ,very loud
She stayed at her room without getting out
Till her father entered at once
He saw the pale of her face
Her body became thin
He astonished and said
"what did make my groom sick?"
Smile ,smile to see my gift
Come to my suit to see my gift"
She thought that the witch was dismissed
And his famous justice was returned
She entered his suite in speed
With great smile that decorated
Her face to make her more smart
She called with a smile"
"What is the " her speech was interrupted
As she saw a strong guy and the witch stood
The king said "this is your groom!"
Is that good gift at your mind!"
She said with sad :
"Who is that?"
The king said"
He is the nephew of my love"
to be continued

I think once we'd imagined our wedding together
You'd kiss me at the altar
Saying "i do."
Now
I'm at a wedding
And you're the groom
But i'm not the bride.

To my bridesmaids and to his bestman..
When it was our BIG WEDDING DAY
you'll made it sparkle in so many ways.
The way you'll walked up the pathway made it feel more and more
like our wedding day.
&
When I saw you'll standing on the stage.
Oh my!!
What a feeling I can't explain.
So thank you again for making us smile on our Wedding day.

you hold dark weddings in your slumber
where the groom is no more than a fixture
painted smile brittle and small
mothers hold cages they wish upon
daddies girl no longer blue-eyed saint
your bestie too drunk to carry your tune
where the cake is bitter
the gifts torn
i looked to you but could not be seen
so a lament came to my wicked lips
looked to you and all I could see was the gravity
that drew me into you
a stranger with her own maps and masks
showing the straight line between your dusk and dawn
a statement of what's not fair
strange you love me
looked into you
a stranger who comes up slowly
I colour with magic markers the darkness in your eye
make it as pretty as you wished
hide it all away
I sleep each night inches away
from your slow walking fear
as you toy with silk strewn lusts
sweet asylum that is never too close
always far too near
I looked to you but could not be seen
so a lament came to my wicked lips
mumbled a carpet of apologies
spread out 'neath your feet
as you dip one toe into the waters
you called me
but when I looked to you
you looked away
there is a ship that sails tonight
I can see us on it
we wave bye-bye in slow motion capture
I can see joy in your eye
dance cheek to cheek under the moonlight
shine cause I know you like to touch dreams
breathe for me girl
just keep dancing 'neath starry sky
ill crash your dark weddings
catch your tears before they can fall
be waiting on your morning doorstep
come home to find me
come home from those inches away
look into you
just for you
not that someone
in a dark wedding day

It was as heaven beside her
A great leisure
She was ineffable to express
so I call myself so much bless
To have her in my life
To be my precious wife
To take care of my children
and feel ineffable feelin
id rather take a thousand risk
to held her wrist
and insert this beautiful ring
and hear the love birds sing
She'll walk in the isle
with a beautiful smile

I was never one to fantasize about my wedding day or obssess about the identity and whereabouts of my groom to be . I just viewed marriage as pleasant expectation.
Something wonderful that would come in its due time
But now I've come to my sences. Untie the boquet, tell the flower girl to ignite her roses, tell the ring bearer not to take caution, pour the champaign down the drain and tear down the wedding cake.
The groom isn't going to show .
And I don't blame him
What awaited him was an asylum in a white dress .
Each step would have brought him closer to being chained to a despondant soul.
I want to love someone, someone that is all mine . Love them with everything in me and wake up each day with my whole would resting on the pillow next to me. But it's not fair to try to love someone when you don't love yourself. I can't charge someone with the responsibility of holding me together. I won't ever be that selfish. So groom to be stay where you are if you see me coming run for the hills .
I'll silence the wedding bells and send the band home. Don't waste a perfectly good tux on me .

In a house
Near the loch
Awaits a bride
For her wedding day.
Soon her groom
Will take her hand.
Extending his hand,
At his father’s house,
Out reaches the groom
Toward the loch
Saying, “in a handful days
I will have my bride.”
Meanwhile the bride,
With her gentle hand,
Writes the day
On invitations in her house;
Sending thoughts across the loch
Toward her groom.
Simultaneously the groom
Thinks of his bride,
Receiving her thoughts from the loch.
His promise on her hand,
Hers is in his father’s house,
But he won't see it until the day.
In just a few short days
With his friends the groom
Will leave his father’s house
And await the bride
To take her hand
At the ceremony near the loch.
And in the city of the loch
Their lives most historic day
Will be when they take each other’s hands
And the groom
Will have his bride
And will make a home of their house.
But until then… Toward the loch the groom,
Awaiting the appointed day of his bride,
With lovesickness stretches his hand toward her house.

I have been reading genetics,
Even as a part of my course,
Apart from my dear hobby.
I have got this scientific temper,
Of course I got it all genetically,
From both mommy 'nd daddy.
Genetics define my autosomes,
Even my other chromosomes,
Which gave me my gender.
I am an Aryan-Dravidian born,
With a fantastic genetic base,
Variation is a genetic boon.
My father tells me to marry farther,
Continuing the ancient tradition,
A tradition that imparts finesse.

The youngest of them all,
at times being the only one around her,
got me fed up.
Her love seemed like hate,
her protection like punishment,
yet never knowing that a time would come,
the time to find my freedom,
to see love and care in her,
to see comfort and safety in her protection.
She is the woman that kept me in her womp for nine months,
with a lot of pain
she brought me to the world,
with too much sufering,
she still never gave me up for adoption.
She is my mother,
the woman i can brag about everyday.
She is my mother,
the woman i love so much without any daught.
She made me vigilant to the things of this world,
groomed me with wisdom.
Taught me knowledge
and gave me the name Nolwazi[which means knowledge]
she fought for me never letting me sleep on an empty stomach.
She held me tight and made sure
that i went on with my studies.
She is my mother,
a woman i love so much,
a God fearing woman,
i never got to write about her until today,
she kept me warm throught the stormy nights,
and whispered in my ear while in her harms till i fell asleep.
I love her so much,
no one's love is greater than hers.

a september bride her hollow sounds
fearfully echo on the leaf strewn trail
with intonations of a blushing bride to be
she makes a graceful vision
obscured only by her hamfisted collection
of undesirable father figures
who stand round the groom and brow beat
him with dire dreams
but his eyes are for her alone and
the tigers of her sensual rainforest
"lions, tigers and bears...oh my!" she whispers
into his eager ear with a sardonic grin
her hollow sounds both haunting and beautiful
they will stay with me as a soulsong
long after history has devoured her
namesake and words
a quick poet of the three line shoot from the hip haiku
pink glossy eyes all damp with remembered tears
she is the quintessential september bride
the long summer nights swayed her
the longer cold winter may undo her
but it is a girlhood dream that
she knits with papier-mâché knights and
bubblegum queens
she waits for me there
to officiate the proceedings
with a bottle of red wine and single red rose
wrapped in the tender notions of
loves sweetest kiss

Finger-like shadows crept
The moon was a yellow gloom
I swear, I really wept
For I knew that it was doom
The tall black silhouette
Stood across the room
The knife was dripping wet
It was the Killer Groom
In a sleek black suit and tie
He cast a nasty grin
Those bony fingers doesn't lie
The corpse was very thin
He took a step, I held my breath
The nightmare of the century
In my house, where's my spouse?
Oh, he's over there ******
He strode and raised the blade
And sent it down, down
I let out a scream, a scream
I saw that his face frowned
He stabbed the pillow on my belly
The knife was stuck for good
Feathers and fluff, the made-up baby
I kicked as hard as I could
He was flat on his back
When I cocked the shotgun
Then, a thunder-crack
His miserable head was gone
I woke up from the nightmare
My make believe horror movie
But there was something that made me stare
My husband, lay there ******
I heard a laugh, an evil laugh
Shivers went up my spine
The bed felt rough, a little bit rough
I realized it's real this time
I pulled the blanket down
The horror was revealed
The baby, all ripped up
My baby has been killed.
Oh what a sight, a glorious sight
My knight has come at last
For ages, I waited for this night
We had remade the past.
