#glimmer
Summer nights had lost their luster As a million fireflies dim their embers; Only in nostalgia could we glance Those scenes where they once danced Lost are their glimmer— The forests mourn their partners For they've taken its tiny souls Mystic glows that made them whole Their embers were put to rest, And murk swallowed these blessed; Their shine that wanes to bloom Now forever sleeps in gloom.

Once there were fireflies
The glimmer in your eye doesn’t shine the way I remember. There’s still kindness in your gaze, but it feels hollow. Your eyes look worn, like you haven’t slept in years. Do you even remember who you are? Still I give you the coffee that you might love more than me. So I can sleep next to you while you stay up at night.

My Writer
Her brown eyes are like polished mahogany, their rich hue deepened with a subtle glimmer, lacing beauty into every flower bed they touch. They hold an irresistible warmth and clarity, reflecting a depth that's both inviting and enigmatic, like the first sip of coffee on a quiet morning, awakening something deep inside. They shimmer, soft as stardust, each glance revealing a gentle spark, as if they're harboring a soft, unspoken magic just for you.

What right do you have to lie there so beautiful, So far away? I am bathed in the shadow of your gaze as I write this, And trying to follow the map of grief drawn, to meet you. Transport me, my glimmer, to your dissociative place. We'll sit there in silence.

In your resplendence
What we have lost will never be returned to us That is the reality of life Once love is lost can it be regained Can you retrieve the freshness that once enticed Do those tender moments re-appear Loving eye to eye contact relived What of us holding hands while on a stroll Memories of that anticipated first date Where have the nights of passion gone How can we forget our dream wedding A honeymoon set in the most exotic of places Is that glimmer of hope our first child gave faded Or does it slip away more and more The warm embraces now bitter words Hugs and kisses replaced by space in the bed Civility replaced by cruelty Distain there to remain That is the question yet to be answered Andreas Simic©

Cold Mountain Reality
May the future never be a sprint, but a smile as that which you cant walk through can be traversed with but a gracious glimmer of hope. And smile :)

Distinct shades of hues — stood the same as the pitch-black dusk takes place into the steel cage, it dooms her life — a tale of desolation. A series of the cynic seeking through — peeking eyes hushed lips, here comes despair. Painted words by her — another form of scars wrestled and won of newness and fondness of her secrets and her sins — are like faces from a covered haze. Shredded reputation — stop! “It will never settle.” She will strike once again her vulnerability — remains concealed: it must preserve her. “It will never end.” As she sips from the twists of her remorse, though she buries her facade. “End her.” Hailed by her, while she seeks for another shade of colors — thus lead her of another yet the flicker of the sun. “It will work out, I believe so.”

Of Another Twisted Mind
There was a time when she cared To satisfy any need of yours, she was prepared You gave her just enough to stay And stay she did everyday There was a glimmer of hope that she will receive love back Every song related back to you, every soundtrack One day, 3 am at night she laid there Room dark, status of you being online a glare She watched it switch offline, realising you never replied Finally it ******* hit her that to be her lover you were never qualified Males are only useful if they are fertile Men are trash was not just a insta post, it became a lifestyle If liking men was a choice Trust me when i say i would have yeeted the boys.

If liking men was a choice
We must first see what is the achievable end      to first catch the glimmer of hope. Of what started at the beginning             and realise that to go forward we must readjust. But to change we must stare at the abyss                            of our consequences,   to realise that without diversity we'll                             never transition beyond now.

Tip Toe On The Abyss
It’s hardly a flicker, A flash in the dark - But it’s markedly something Perhaps a new start

glimmer
The blonde shimmer of your hair gets lost In the lights of city and it begins to transform Into your ambition that keeps you alive While the shine and glory of youth that you have in your face Is mixing with loud sirens of the city Just a little bit , just a little bit shine that I’m searching for A green glimmer would keep me alive Trying to distract myself  from the distance that we put between us A shine of happiness would keep my heart alive So busy with our lives that we don’t even realize How the city reacts with our hearts When we feel a heartache we just look at the city lights Like lights could take the pain away Perfectly cut, walls of glasses Another day is beginning The sun is rising again.

The City’s Lullaby
There’s a song in my soul That I try to control But it won’t be directed Or infected by me My higher self singing and flinging me forwards into the light, with my dreams in sight There - where I am awake, with glimmer and gleam and in sync with my being.

fools gold
Do I dance through your head like an ancient melody, so distinct and historic, yet repeated traditionally? Do I sing through your ears like a blue bird's pretty song, so constant in the morning, promising from dusk to dawn? Do I twinkle in your eyes like a midnight moon's glimmer, so steadily, heavenly bright, reflecting like a lakeside's shimmer? Do I do all of these things like there is no other routine? It's funny how even distance can't halt a fond heart's memory.

Do I?
He was bound to the skies, She was tied to the seas. They spend their lives apart yet, the way they glimmer at the horizon is prepossessing

skyside
It's like you see beyond the glimmer in my eyes It's like you're able to look right through my faulty smile It's like you see right past the parts of a different time It's like you gaze into the depths and see two of a kind It's like I seem to be to you as clear as the sky Whenever you can't see a ******* cloud on the horizon, why? You see the good intentions and you see the wicked ways The water on the surface and the Devils own blaze! I'm the master of my fate, I am not the beast in me! I will not succumb, not be numb, to your ******* greed! I will stay afloat, in the tides of misery! I will make my way, and you will not **** me! The jester we are one, the good and bad combined! We live to entertain, but it's myself that I provide! Laughing in despair, head lowered in pride A contradictory conflict, and you see it in my eyes... It's like you see beyond, the glimmer in my eyes It's like you're able to look right through my faulty smile It's like you see right past the mask behind which we will hide It's like you gaze into the depths and see our dead divide...

Glimmers
All these dreams that remains a dream, their glimmer and shine now feel like pinpricks in my eyes, as the list of “not-achieved” and “compromises” grows long.

And I wonder, "Am I just the glimmer in the river reflecting someone else's light?"

River of Mirrors
Full again the moon perched atop a darkened plank of cloud floating in iridescent river of sky again the moon pregnant with the sun’s light round full lake of fervor again the moon opalescent in the stars’ glimmer silver frosted ocean of ecstasy again                         the moon...

*** With The Devil
you are like: a mirrored lake, everything below the surface. handwritten love letters and bright smiles. a quaint cottage surrounded by wilderness. the glimmering sand and burning sunsets. the whole night sky and everything beyond it. the force in the tide, the chill in the breeze. lingering glances and long drives. lightning and thunder - -and everything- -in between.
