When up is down,
left twists into right
Green burns brown,
day becomes night.
I'm walking on the ceiling
confused by everything.
Feeling that I am unfeeling
as I don't know anything.

Applause to this object
A star to look up,—
But stands lower than a house
Who gathered all the fantasies— of hopeless travellers,— Which seek for devoted fancies.
Sparkling garlands,—
Simply, a life of itch
Flashlights everywhere on the platform,— Inutile to its basis
I memorize the trades of their toasts—
One day, I shall have my own boast.
After wiping spots on gold bars,—
I am still not a debauchee of love;
Even if they buzz,— Beehives— Are not mine to offer,—
But a gourmet to their stomach.
Assets clothing their merchants—
Reserving the furnitures—
To show the best features
For myself, I want a slammed window,—
Not some firm statues
"Galatea, we all desire Galatea!"
How adorable when 'twas knotted,
Lovely, but not loved,
Sheltered, yet not protected;
Paid, but not proclaimed
How many landlords will adapt me?
There is a target—
To a sudden stampede—
Oh, how startling!
Please, capture me
I will submit to your traps!
This bird is willing to be caged— Away!
I may now have my arrows— To run the bay!
Flipped death is my reward..

Home is where the heart is?
No, the home is for the brain.
Cause when I'm out in the streets,
Then I can dance in the rain.
If I'm trapped in my house,
Then I will go insane.
***** waiting for the storm to pass,
Slowly trickling down the drain.
Having a friend is a pain in the ***
When there's nothing to gain.
Stopped dead in my tracks, out of gas,
And I'm in the wrong lane.
I've been feeling that to the max,
Day after day,
But why wait for the storm to pass,
When you can dance in the rain.

I once was found
But now I am lost
Took a wrong turn
Got my signals crossed
Used to know who I was
Now I don't have a clue
My world's been flipped
Since I first met you
My life was planned out
I had a grand vision
Now it's been wrecked
By our reckless collision
But I'd rather be lost
On this wild ride
Than find all I desire
Without you by my side

I don’t have to wake up too early
I get to
I don’t have to go to work
I get to
I don’t have to deal with my neighbors
I get to
I don’t have to eat a healthy dinner
I get to
I don’t have to call my parents
I get to
I don’t have to wash the dishes
sweep the floors
feed the pets
hang the laundry
scrub the toilet
I get to
I don’t have to pack her lunch
with a smile
and a lovely note
I get to
I don’t have to do
the things I dread
or the things I love
I get to
I don’t have to keep on living
I get to!

"He wanted to know about the sycamore tree and seemed to understand exactly what I meant when I told about the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. “It's that way with people, too,” he said, “only with people it's sometimes that the whole is less than the sum of the parts."
- Wendelin Van Draanen, Flipped
Look at me with those hopeful eyes
with the belief that we can make it through lows and highs
walk again with me, you and your untiring feet
you made the past months more complete
let's cross some more bridge together
stay when one needs the other
Lend me your hands and your arms
and I will gladly accept to ease my qualms
For I've learned that hands will just be hands
and arms will just be arms
but they become so much more
especially when comfort and solace are in store
I have not searched but I have found
someone standing on the same ground
Thank you for breaking the trope
and for helping me breathe a brand new hope
Even if there were a lot of people who were far less
In the short time we've spent together,
I can say you are one of the few who are far more...
you are greater than the sum of your parts
you are one beautiful whole

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
**** yeah babe I'm a firework
'bout to burst through the sky in a brilliant
flash of emotion bringing happiness to the couple
sprinting through the streets
-FLASH-
Burnt out.
Expended.
Used.

They say head over heels
But that has never made sense to me
I walk head over heels
You've flipped me upside-down
I'm heels over head
