Put on pants with actual buttons? There’s another. Catch your kid’s smile coming off the bus today? Worth celebrating. See, happiness isn’t a lottery you win; it’s a choice you can make. Even if the world hands you a million reasons to choose otherwise. So laugh it off over ice cream. Get a just-because cake. Find your slice of happiness to celebrate. A thick bar or a small orb A pebble or a globe The sight of brunette or umber A soft mocha or a syrup A stuffing or solid The taste of hard work It's a bean no longer, need of peel. Flavor so rich and full, Money can buy but not feel.

The currency of cacao
the lockers rife with clowns and the frittering of time as the ***** boys got ready to work their ***** minds down at the ***** factory and boast about ***** things too often degrading and unkind. I tried to stay out of it until one officious co-worker had the gall to ask, “what’s your preference in women?” whereby, my response was, “I see my women like flavors; white women are too bland, black women are too flavorful and Indian women are a bit over-seasoned. you need the right amount of spice. Latina women got it but they cheat so, I’d have to go with Asian women. they’re perfection is unmatched.” laughter emerged and rumbled down the grey factory walls where the metal tin roof had rattled, the ***** air pervaded with rust and tears and a mouthful of peanuts were spat onto a grimy floor they laughed and kept on laughing until their bellies burst never have they heard such a response like that before and I just went back to work, treading in the depths of my own conviction, not really seeing why I wasn’t being taken so seriously.

The pink ones
Coffee, I adore thee, somehow you never bore me. Bold and dark or mild and smooth, you get me up and on the move. In warm embrace or cool frappe, mocha, french roast, or tall latte, crema, sospeso or con panna, you never fail to make my day. It’s the best thing ever manufactured, without it, my mind is slow and scattered, for a quiz or formulating I’d be knackered, every morning the Keurig is where we gather. You pick me up and keep me keen, in complementing any cuisine, by delivering a dose of sweet caffeine, you are the original magic bean. In doses quick or lingered over, on mornings with a hangover, I reach for you, your warm embrace, the morning fogginess to erase. The flavors, the scent, which is the best? They are of compound interest. French press or espresso - take your pick - they all provide that delicious kick. Jitter juice, rocket fuel, cup of joe, cuppa, morning brew or ristretto, your flavors please, your scent rouses, a coffee shop is where the crowd is. In slang they call it Mormon-crack, but sugared up or with a snack, with creamy art or straight-up black once I’ve got it, you won’t get it back.

Life is a sort of flavors! Sometimes tastes so sweet, some others it is just that salt. Life is a sort of stories! Sometimes she is the beauty, other days she is the beast. Life is a sort of colors! Sometimes the moon light, some others turns to an eclipse. Life is a sort of seasons, Sometimes warm as the spring, suddenly freezing and cold just like the winter. Life is a sort of lenses, Sometimes the clear vision, in others turns to blurry. Life is a like person. Sometimes it is a friend, others might turns to a total stranger. Whatever life is! Whatever comes between! It is always one of the two.

What is life?
Are the Five Alive© Can you see it through... The fog The smog The mist Can you smell it through... The fear The odors The stench Can you hear it through... The noise The racket The chatter Can you taste it through... The spices The flavors The bland Can you touch it through... The pain The sorrow The concessions If you’ve made it this far through The gauntlet known as life Take a bow for you are alive with the big five Sight, smell, hearing, taste and feel are for real Andreas Simic©

Are the Five Alive
Criminal O Criminal This deceit you leak reeks Of sour lemons and urination. Criminal O Criminal This pride you flood smells Of blueberries and broken dreams Criminal O Criminal These miracles you bring leave a miasma Of grape Faygo and suffering souls Criminal O Criminal The peace I bring leaves an aroma Of blue raspberry popsicles and lonely depression
