Who needs a cat with its smug, aloof stare, when you can have a dragon curled around your armchair? No hairballs to gag on, no litter box smell just scales that gleam like molten gold, a roar that tolls like a dinner bell. Picture this: I’m walking my dragon down Main Street, its tail swiping lampposts, its wings unfurled. You’d cross the road, wouldn’t you? No "Here, kitty, kitty" nonsense here more like "Hey, don’t step on my dragon's tail, unless you fancy a toasted rear." Cats claw at your furniture, but a dragon? One good huff, and your boss is barbecue promotion secured, no HR to sue. And homework? Gone in a puff of fiery breath, like a snack too dry to chew. Dragons don’t purr; they rumble like thunderclouds, a warning to the mailman who thinks he’s brave. Leave the package at the gate, sir we’ll fetch it after he’s had his lunch break. Forget scratching posts; my dragon’s hobbies are practical: lighting the grill for marshmallow feasts, turning burglars to toast (though they never get past the TV, artfully left in his food bowl how kind of them to step so close).hehe Cats bring you mice as gifts, but my dragon’s presents? A flaming pile of junk mail, your nosy neighbor’s fence, and an accidental singe of the hedges. The yard looks better scorched, anyway. So go on, take your catnip, your bells, and your feline "charm." I’ll take a dragon with its fiery alarm. Because when the world sees me astride my beast, no one’s asking "Got a moment for Greenpeace?" No fella no time for that, have you met snappy. Instead, it’s awe, it’s terror, it’s glory. My dragon, my friend, my living story. And while cats demand your undying affection dragons? They burn your enemies. No contest, no question.

The Epitome of The Poet
I sit here and I think about what happened. The pain that I felt. The betrayal that flowed through my skin. Anger started to bubble, it started to burn until I became a living fire. The fire was unstoppable because I knew that I could overcome the world. The strength of this fire sparked my inner energy. It let me become someone that I had to always shove down deep inside the walls woven in my skin. The walls that took me a long time to build. Each day would go by and with it the energy and the time to build those fire proof walls. I built those walls because I knew that I would need them someday. I knew that I needed to be stronger than the fire I would build. I had to experiment time after time and each time I did the fire burned too much. Then finally I did not care about the fire that burned within. I did not care that it ripped through my veins and filled up the rest of myself. It melted the walls and broke down all of my nerves until they were in submission not to feel anything. Not to feel pain, but only the fire that burned within, the fire that burned them.

Morning - Haikus
People fiddle with fire And get mad when they sweat Dose their bodies in oil And play in the flame Hell fire But cries it burns The fickle logic Fascinating I tell myself I want to help But can you help Those who don't seek Questions abound Do I deserve A fiery baptism To build your Throne on this pile of dirt

Can you feel it
a poet's pen with scarlet ink paper thick for blood to sink roses fill the empty space while tears fill up in the poet's place these shadows offended they tease and they taunt petals fall as the roses fought their darling dear their poet's fear as the shadows were out for blood a poet's own to draw it from skin pale like a rainy day fiery hair tangled in thorns a poet's pen in a poet's corpse

a poet's pen
This smoke in my throat The fire in my teeth The wires of my bones Slowly tugging at me Withered webs of my eyes Covet all that I see The light from your skin Meets the fall in my knees The warmth of my breath A glass guarantee Tattered wind of my faith Cast off with the sea

frst/fairies
They'd look at my broken face, cracked with sorrow, torn with anger, Look at it, and tell me to smile. Someday, I'd be a star to many, a shining light, beautiful, graceful, In the dark, dark sky. I'd smile, willing the cracks to disappear, Turning them around, so they're in my heart, Hidden from sight and sympathy. One star in billions, in the dark, dark sky. Twinkling forever, graceful, beautiful. I, I will be furious and blinding, Powerful and fiery. Not a star, But a sun.

Stick it in Here we go Round and round You put your heart into me But it is implanted now Like a fist Hard I feel it Fury and fiery And can't escape it You ******* I didn’t ask for this service How do I unpay the time it took For you to chisel this love into me That is only falsely real

Implant
Today, I hope you realize how much you are loved And it sets off a spark inside of you that burns brighter each minute A spark that turns into a fiery warmth from the inside out to warm your hands and melt your pain into a wax candle of memories A fiery warmth that never goes out Not even when floodwaters rise to your chest Today, I hope you realize how much you are loved.

A Spark
He beholds Then holds First my thorns Then my petals Peels it off Slowly Smells, licks, and tastes Feels it How naked I am With discontinuity In the form of thorns Pure and placid Flawed and fabulous That's my soul And his love for me Deep, fiery, hot, and PASSIONATE

Naked
Will I ever; Make it out; Of this raging inferno; Alive? And well? Is that possible? I don't think it is. The fire; Of our passion; Was too hot; To not leave; Several burns; All over my skin.

Scarred
the one before you tried to heal my scars. he always said "baby, no one wants to buy damaged goods." and i always nodded my head, kissed his cheek, let him try and heal my scars so i would be his perfect angel. then you came along, you encouraged me to leap under the fiery sun, let my scars burn white hot like an angel's wings. you always said "baby, no one wants a carbon copy; your scars make you the best kind of uniquely beautiful." and although you may be gone now, i will always remember to dance under the fiery sun and let my scars burn white hot... just like an angel's wings.

angel's wings
I escape this cloud of destruction with a different aura-- one of ruby moods and sapphire disposition. I shine into this new threshold with desperate hope and a thirst for diamonds. What will this new hell endure? The fiery pits of fashion or the comforting waves of idleness? Whether the weather, hot or icy my weak determination lies in the false promise of an improved destiny.

A New Threshold
I now know why you left me. You like to be in control, But you realised My flames could not be tamed. I was a fiery soul, A force to be reckoned with And you couldn’t handle me.

Fiery amour-Haiku
Fiery Lady She is brighter than the sun Hotter 'cause she knows what she wants Don't need men to get things done 'Cause fiery ladies are savants. Try to harass her She'll spit back flame Call her a slur She'll leave you with shame No one can invade her Without being scorched She will never deter 'Cause she's a Fiery Lady (woo hoo) Queen of the world Gonna show it a thing or two Fiery Lady (woo hoo) With hair straight or curled She knows there's nothin' she can't do Fiery Lady (Fiery) Fiery Lady (Lady) Fiery Lady (Fiery) Fiery lady (Lady) Magazines tryin' to fool girls (fool girls), Tellin' 'em to change who they are. Songs tryin' to exploit girls (exploit girls) Pitying them cause they think scars mar. But wounds are tales Of fiery ladies; Their trials, their trails, Tests from Hades But ladies don't care, They always dare, And each one's a Fiery Lady (woo hoo) Queen of the World Gonna show it a thing or two Fiery Lady (woo hoo) With hair straight or curled She knows there's nothin' she can't do Fiery Lady (Fiery) Fiery Lady (Lady) Fiery Lady (Fiery) Fiery lady (Lady) Woah-oh-oh Fiery Lady (woo hoo) Queen of the World Gonna show it a thing or two Fiery Lady (woo hoo) With hair straight or curled She knows there's nothin' she can't do Fiery Lady (woo hoo) Queen of the World Gonna show it a thing or two Fiery Lady (woo hoo) With hair straight or curled She knows there's nothin' she can't do Fiery Lady Fiery Lady

Fiery Lady
A fiery church in the world, The flame within, quite a swirl, The fire still flourishes, Our souls it nourishes, The word is spreading in the world, Faith can heal, give it a whirl, But you can be too religious, you see, Let a fiery church heal humanity, Let's have a peaceful dream, Make peace, not war, it seems!
