what if I don't want to be a office drone, a 9-5, working mom, what if I don't want three kids, and a husband, and a house with a down payment What if I don't want to drive a minivan and have movie night. What if I don't want to cut pieces of myself off, to fit into this mold? what if I want to be free, and travel the country with my wife, and cat, and live in a van, wake up with the sun, and bathe in the river? what if?

A Drone Above the Garden
The sound of a drone above. The night sky, cold and still. Echoes of war. A small bouquet of snowdrops, warmed by my breath.

A captured thought thrashes inside my chest, As the droning teacher drills out his behest. His lecture lulls us with impervious haze, As the wandering pupils observe in a daze. My captive prisoner rages to reach outside, But I fail to arise, I'm shut up, tongue-tied. The captain now slowly sails the ship away Completely unaware of the treasure left astray.

our species is long ploughed over whittling wind and byproduct mass war wounds on the landscape proved fertile other parts we made long term barren high above our remains a creature that calls the homing pigeon its ancestor and an ancient self maintained drone continue a long standing feud

Drones with Cameras
I had a lovely little drone and every chance I had, I'd fly so high, up to the sky in weather good or bad. I'd push the limits further, and every time I flew, my boldness knew no limits. My confidence - It grew! I'd fly until "connection lost" and RTH* kicked-in; a feature oh so good at hiding multitudes of sin! And so, more reckless did I grow more daring I became. I mocked the regulations and derided them as "lame"! And then, one chilly, blustery day, I set forth to the beach. I flew my drone out to an island, almost out of reach. The wind, it changed direction and turned into a gale. My lovely drone fought valiantly, but nature did prevail. A watery grave engulfed my drone in cold and wicked sea. I lost my lovely little drone and little drone lost me. So now I cry and save my cash and count the days 'til when I'll buy a lovely brand new drone and do it all again!!! * An automated "Return To Home" feature.

All work, no play and neon screens menial tasks even coat my dreams. Overboard in bored and a silent phone, oh no, I think I’ve evolved to drone. Punch in, punch out, this is the wrong route. Punch in, punch out, a life of drought. This technological terror has caused life to flash in error. For lady dollar; I can’t bear her, as the riches are even rarer. I’ve become a machine, to crush numbers with no log off for needed slumbers. Now my brain’s racing, a million miles per hour, oh no, I think I’ve gained A.I’s power. Punch in, punch out, this is the wrong route. Punch in, punch out, now what life is about. This technological terror has caused life to flash in error. No sudden movements; don’t want to scare her, she’s updating with no carer. Learning binary, a breathing library, processing slowly but still a finery. I forgot what my hands were for they used to write all that I adore. Now fingertips type, each key a shot, oh no, I think I’ve grown into a robot. Punch in, punch out, this is the wrong route. Punch in, punch out, no one hears me shout. This technological terror has caused life to flash in error. Pure absorption; a simple stare, life’s equation could be fairer. Learning binary, a breathing library, walking geometry complete machinery.

Such dissatisfaction For so little reason. Much complaining & whining, Crying & begging; Pulling hair, tight fists And gnashing teeth. Consumer Zombies stagger Into the Stop & Shop, Shop & Go, Buy More For Less- Sale, Sale, Sale! Salivating glands & bug eyes; Our hands grab more than Can possibly be seen. Our skin stretches tight As white elephants stampede. Why can’t we all Just Stop & think? Take a drink of the cool morning Air and buy in the sunrise? ©  Lesley Wood

My drone just struck the roof I'm not the aviator, I should be it deserves a better pilot and guide one who will teach it, gliding high and free taking pictures, some erstwhile celebrity bouncing around Hollywood, on a photo ride not hitting cars, and trees Sailing with the wind, above Eastwood's abode seeking to capture his joy and pride dying in his backyard, from a shotgun load issued, from inside Suing for retrieval of the pictures, it had spied

lost in the machine
On brown earth and fields of clovers, a glade has grown to be. Its cool breeze and green leaves offer peace and solace to me. Spears of sun pierce through the shade and paint the thirsty wood. Its tendriled veins writhe and stretch, beneath a canopied hood. Atop the ferns a parascope rises swaying back and forth. It moves to the left, it moves to the right, and then I hear a snort. My dog eared friend brings to me, a long and pointed gift. But such a prize is recognized to leave just as quick. The air is filled with warbeled songs from treetops far and near. But an incessant buzz cuts like unkindness and comes to fill my ear. I see it plain above my zenith, a machine of flying plastic. Its rotors spin in four successions, it floats and moves - stochastic. This hovering sentinel watches all with a tiny gazing eye. But who's to gain, learn, intrigue, by spying from the other side? From up so far a world so small: he sees himself a king. Out of dangers, out of touch, to him no harm can bring. And though he thinks that he remains concealed, secure, untracked. He does not know, below the grove, I am staring back.

Supposedly, I gave you a horrid tone, Expressing of one who's "grown." Maybe if you treated me unlike a drone, I wouldn't feel so alone. I feel like I can't even be at home, Why would you want that for me..

We Are Nothing But Drones
Its been 5 years since we saw a drone crash land here on Earth. It then seem to come to life and examine our Plant to see if it was suitable to live on.. Today we are receiving the same type of signal from an object on course to the same exact spot the Star drone crash landed.. We wait! This drone seems smaller in size than the one that crash landed here 5 years ago.. The entire world watched and listened.. It then sent out a radio signal in all languages.. It said this! :::::People of the Planet Earth which is known as ( Soren 12 ) to us.. I would like to thank you for the use of your planet in composing a above average score for my intergalactic project.. I received a score of 495 out of 500! I got points taken off because of a small program mistake where my drone picked up an enormous amount of your ocean water and dumped it in the return dock.. Your planet is very beautiful! Even more beautiful than ours.. I am in the works of becoming a Star driver.. In order to do so I must be able to find life among the stars in case I ever have to transfer myself or others in the worst case scenarios.. I may visit one day.. Thank you!!! Drone 2 The arrival
There is a faint signal coming from orbit... Lets check it out.. There it is! What is it! Look wow! Its on a crash course! It will crash land in the Northern Pacific Ocean.. Lets go! There it is! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Splash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets pull it up! Careful.. Look at this thing.. Is there any way to open it? It seems dead.. Strange nothing we have will penetrate the surface.. There is no way of opening it. Oh my god everyone come here.. Look all the light just came on! Its leaving quick follow it! We have been following it for days.. It has been collecting samples of dirt, water, and at times it seems to be breathing the very air itself.. Wait look something is happening.. Its taking flight! We need to stay with it.. This will be a international effort.. We all have to work together to see what this thing is doing.. So far it has visited almost all the continents on The planet.. Today it goes back to where it crashed.. In the northern Pacific.. As it arrives it lands in the Ocean.. It then gathers a large amount of water and booms back into orbit.. It later leaves orbit.. This was a Drone.. A drone that seeks a livable Planet.. A drone heading back to a dying civilization somewhere out there.. A drone that will bring something back.. All we can do is wait..

Drone
When the white bird flies, the sky catches on fire. Then the fire bleeds to the village and the village burns. Do not be mistaken, this is how you catch the bad guys. We must catch the bad guys. Don’t you know? When the white bird flies, she purifies in flame. Replaces evil with ash and ash cannot stop the oil flow. But wait, there was a mistake. backspace, backspace. Control alt delete. It is too late, the sky already burns. And when the sky burns, so does the village. These were children, Where were the bad guys? When the white bird fails It flies a thousand homes to its mother. “We will try again, tomorrow,” she says and then she turns the screen black. Still the village burns and children become orphans, but the oils keeps flowing, it always keeps flowing.
