#bumblebee
You shouldn’t have to
decompose this way,
stranded in a manmade
desert of gray.
Where Mother Nature
is banished from sight,
where nothing is sacred
and blooms perish white.
No hands left to gather
your fragile remains,
no earth soft with clover,
no cool summer rains.
Only heat shimmering
off pavement and tar,
while engines keep roaring
like mechanical war.
You deserved to grow still
where the wildflowers sway,
where weeds rise like cathedrals
untouched by decay.
Where the world unseen
bustles busy below,
through roots curled in darkness
where green things still grow.
You should have been carried
by rivers through loam,
returned to the soil
that once called you home.
Instead you lie stranded
beside human feet,
while crowds pass you over
through this merciless street.
And I mourn for the kingdoms
our species destroyed,
for gardens made silent,
left barren and void.
For every small creature
we starved from the sun,
all sacrificed slowly
for “progress” and “fun.”
Rest now in stillness,
blessed be—
for all this grieving
is for the humble bumblebee.

The craziest thing happened to me;
I had a strange encounter with a bumblebee.
My husband was cutting the neighbors lawn,
As I sat on our back patio with the radio on.
I was soaking in the beautiful spring day,
The bee landed on me and was there to stay.
As it stood on the top of my left hand, I froze:
I wasnt sure how i was going to oppose...
I gently shook my arm hoping it would fly off,
But No, it stuck around, refusing to takeoff
There were many thoughts now in my head;
One option was to flick it off my hand instead.
Then I thought: bad idea, it will sting you
At this point, I didnt know what else to do.
So I softly shook my hand again, to no avail-
This bumblebee was not going to bail!
Then I heard my husband say, "honey"?
I quickly responded, "yeah"?
"Would you grab the **** whacker over the fence"? He asked
I responded, "hold on, a bee landed on me".
"What?" he asked, unsure of what i just said.
I slowly, stood up and approached the fence,
As I lifted up my hand, I became very tense.
The bee was content to ride along as i walked
I had been completly and utterly shocked.
The bumblebee remained perfectly in place-
Which I was forced to simply embrace.
As my husband handed the **** eater over
I showed him the bee on me and was the prover
My husband asked, "will you open the gate for me"
My answer, " the bee and I will meet you out front".
Just then— the bee flew away.

last night I laid in bed
calling my gf like I usually did
but yesterday was different
she brought up that one show-
your old favorite show
I couldn't hold back the tears
you ruined it
you ruined everything
you ruined every song I listened to
you ruined my gfs show she wanted to watch with me
you ruined the musical I was waiting to see
you ruined the words I wanted to say
you ruined every form of love I wanted to give
you ruined where my best friend lived
you ruined the idea of long distance relationships
you ruined dying your hair blue
you ruined your favorite animal
your ruined my old favorite flower
you ruined everything
and that night as I sobbed
I hoped my gf wouldn't do the same

It is so bright outside,
I have to squint my eyes.
Has it snowed again?
What a great surprise.
'Cos Winter has long gone.
Yesterday there were blossoms
colouring the landscape white.
Temperature must have dropped
quite drastic in the night.
April's weird and getting weirder.
Changed my plans for today
and bear it with a grin,
just like the bumblebee
I've decided to stay in.

The Bumble-Bees so happily
from flower to flower they bumble
A scientist insists:
"this cannot be
it's an areodynamic scandal!"
with a formular: Y somewhat x Phi
he proofes why Bumble-Bees can't fly at all:
their bodies are too heavy to fly
as their wings are much to small
I humbly admit: physic is all greek to me
I enjoy Bumble-Bees and their humming
and the Bumble- Bees seem to agree with me
and continue to fly...
...isn't that stunning?

Bumblebee
Sweetheart
You have stole my heart
The poetry you write
Seeps into my soul
A beautiful cup of tea
Hot and ready
And I will drink deeply
And give my tea
Back to thy
My perfect
Bumblebee.

No Bumblebee.
No blackbird, swallow, swift or Robin.
No buttercups or poppies swaying in the breeze.
No hedgehog, weasel, stoat or mole
Almost silence.
Just one sound.
The sound of property developers chewing then choking on money.

Above me is the wide blue sky
beneath my feet is a patch
of land sprawling far way.
Oh ask me not which direction
am I going this or that way?
East, west the north or the south?
The little bumblebee before
my eyes is flying every way!

Oh my dear bumble bee
She said as she caressed
her soft honey colored hair.
Stay humble
through your flight so high.
Emerge with a special glee
Of bustling-buzzing excitement.
Let your golden stripped wings
Carry you to scope lands for enchantment.
To collect those dusty pollen
and transfigure them to honey
for you and others.
A honey comb of a heart
Resides in you my dear
So allow the honey to drip from your tongue.
And when science tries to prove
With their theories and mathematical proportions
that you can not fly high
Let them taste the sweetness
Of your hustle
and the sight of your flight.

Caught in spider's silk
Sings the call of his people.

Umi the bumblebee flies sometimes against a tree
You might not see but you are great
So keep your head high my mate
Umi the bumblebee buzzes around full of glee,
Don't worry I will not sting
I am just being fluffy
Though this bee might also be very cuddly
And mostly silly
Umi the bumblebee likes to see people happy
Full of light she flies under the sun,
Buzzing a song and having fun
From flower to flower, each a delight,
Forming a beautiful field, a wonderous sight
Please don't sneeze while I pollinate
Such would be very great !
Umi the bumblebee buzzes around and hits a tree
This is it she can't do more
Now she is sleepy and goes to bed
Till the red of the dawn awakens her and she once again lifts up her head!

What did you say to me?
How did you say to be?
Scent of the flowers sweet,
I fell off the path; the beat.
Metamorphoses buzzing creep.
Bumblebee, Bumblebee
Nectar pollen and wiggle-dance,
Tear off the shirt and pants,
Without it I’m incomplete,
Rotting in self-defeat,
Awashed in a wild sea,
Bumblebee, Bumblebee
Buzzin’ so high and flyin’
Honeycomb drunken Mayan,
Falling west, rising east,
The party will not surcease,
While I am the Bumble-beast!
Bumblebee, Bumblebee
I am the Bumblebee,
Bumblebee, Bumblebee
I am the Bumblebee
The flight it takes off and from,
As flowers of life become,
Praying up to the Sun,
What am I imagining? (image-gen-nun)
August vino de lum
Bumblebee, Bumblebee
Bumblebee, Bumblebee
I am the Bumblebee,
Bumblebee, Bumblebee
I am the Bumblebee

I once had seen a bumble bee
or so I thought it was to me.
In the backyard one sunny day
I saw it flying low and stay
hovering there near a flower
as I walked by like a tower.
It was big and did seem busy
looking at it made me dizzy.
Glowing in an unearthly light
and its colours were also bright.
It almost seemed now I recall
that scene was supernatural.
Because in the blink of an eye
it vanished without telling why.
I looked around hoping to see
where it had gone this bumble bee
But no matter how hard I tried
I never again caught or spied
another glimpse of that creature
with such a radiant feature.

You went against their theories, you broke all their rules
By soaring above them, just out of reach.
You laughed as they stared, those arrogant fools
Eager to name your scientific breach.
If you let them catch you it might be fun
Allow one to hold you; small greedy hand.
And just when he thinks the game has been won
You move forward with your martyrs stand.
You sting the ******* who’s trying to steal
The secrets behind your majestic wing.
One venomous ***** with quick pain he’ll reel
Squealing retreat from your dignified sting.
They actually thought you’d let truth be known
Uncivilized man, your secret to own?

What do you see
When the flower meets your eye,
What beauty must hide
In visceral Versailles,
In cherry tree reality...
Does it mystify?
The variegated countryside
Does the chorus nullify
The diversified into harmony
What melodic elegance underlies
That subjective divide
Wistful of waves you fly
What do you see in the cherry tree sky
