Than the daily meticulous cutting.
I took a rubber band to my skin
And the snapping stung more
Than the soap suds on fresh cuts.
I took a blade to my skin
And the deep gashes made me feel more
Than I have ever felt before.

said university days, a late night and a hangover
Sunday is a day of rest,
and there are many ways to keep the faith,
like staying in bed.
