Note: My Silly Writing The Alligator and the Crocodile, They haven't seen each other in quite a while, When times were easy, and Life was greater, the last the croc said: See you later Alligator, and the Last Gator replied with glee in his eyes, after a while crocodile, as they both realized, It's been a while and It's been quite a minute, Since The last time they spoke, and when the times have been Splendid!! It's time that we part, It's been a while crocodile, I'll see you later alligator, and Let's not make it a whole!!! B.R. Date: 2/5/2025

The Alligator and the Crocodile
Looking out my bedroom window past the bluebirds and cardinals vying for position on the seed-filled feeder, past the doves and the squirrels shamelessly settling for the leftovers below, past the obligatory but unused lawn furniture, past the turtles and storks and herons, and past an alligator swimming slowly, but purposefully, toward his place in the sun, I can see the second green and the third tee of the golf course where I live. In these days of pandemic and social distancing the golfers each drive their own cart. On the putting green players stand six to ten feet apart, no one touches the flagstick, there are no high fives, no shaking hands. The green carts are driven down the cart path one-by-one from two green to three tee, like four green baby ducks following each other, identical, synchronous, six to ten feet apart. After teeing off the players in the carts again follow each other one-by-one to the end of the path before scattering to the fairway or the bunker or the woods or the edge of the lake where the alligator has fallen asleep in the sun with his mouth open as if he is warning the golfers to maintain the appropriate social distance. Considerably more than six to ten feet apart.

Six to Ten Feet Apart
I’ve been disappearing day by day anxious and fearing what you’ll say; a four letter word you think a compliment, but I never heard the sentiment. And everybody knows what I’ve been hiding, the closing doors were sliding, I deserved a light for just awhile. No second or first chances, lost time and dead romances, crocodile tears and an alligator smile. I’ve been fading piece by piece it seems relating to this cease, a four letter word meant with affection, but it’s absurd and an insult to our connection. And everybody knows what I’ve been denying, the locked windows I’ve been prying, I deserved a fair and unbiased trial. No second or first chances, blame time or circumstances, crocodile tears and an alligator smile. Like all things in history there’s defeat and there’s victory I don’t think I can label this either one. I want to stop this toxicity and erase it into nothing but I think that’s what you’ve already done. So close your eyes and take a breath we’ll say our goodbyes only with death. And I’ve been muted through every line but the rain’s included with the sunshine. And everybody knows what I’ve been fighting in darkness even with lighting, I deserved the be your faithful sun dial. No second or first chances, no idea of what your stance is, crocodile tears and an alligator smile.

Crocodile Tears
The alligator in my swamp The hornet in my nest Whispered softly under the meteor showered sky, I'm the only one who'll know. Because he never had a soul, He never could remember mine.

Because He Never Had A Soul
I did not see your swarm O Holy crocodile A sweet disaster A monster of madness You crawl into the mouths of men's hearts Turn them inside out Alligator dreams inside their minds Ripping open its seam You're a nightmare of red With fangs of silver And a flash of green Your roar gives off a unworldy scent Between worlds of gore Not of long lost lore Your warmth is poison Your love unravels Your bite is cancer It kills with inspiration, So sleep further than the blade of its knife Or suffer endless obessions Throughout the rest of your pitiful life.

The Age of Madness
Tried counting normal sheep. It didn’t work. None of them seem to have that je ne sais quoi that Eastern - European sleep sheep have. Tried counting good and bad memories. On an invisible flip chart. Just like in my youth corporation. I presented the situation to my inner Earth, waiting for feedback and good vibes. All I got was a mosquito in my left ear. Tried counting all the nights when I couldn’t sleep but I was never good with imaginary numbers. Then.. I started counting all the “I’m sorry”s, “I love thee”s and “It wasn’t me to pull the trigger, your honor!”s, slowly falling in a pit full of alligator dreams, just waiting to bite on my neck. Sleep made me weak. Sleep made me spill all the meds on the wooden floor and suddenly, I started seeing the truth through a pair of 3D cardboard glasses. Then I started to feel blue and it all happened so fast, officer!

I went into the pro shop Paid my fees and turned to leave The man behind the counter said "you're new here...I believe" I said I'd never played here He said "there's things that you should know" "I'll grab us both a coffee" "Listen close...before you go" "The first two holes are easy" "nothing there gets in the way" "no bunkers, and no water" "just the way to start the day" "It gets tougher on the third hole" "There's some birds up in the trees" "They buzz you while you're putting" "Remember...birds on three" "The fourth hole is a dog leg" "It has a river on the right" 'Avoid the yellow caution tape" "We had a drowning there last night" I swallowed hard and stared back "A drowning out on four" "That's right" he said "don't worry" "At least it's not the wild boar" "The WILD BOAR?" I said aloud He said "he's on five through seven" "Don't worry much on those holes" "He's been sighted on eleven" "The eighth is fairy simple" "A par three that you can reach" "Water moccasins in the swamp" "And lots of spiders in the beach" "The greens are all receptive" "They hold well, just come in high" 'But, land is short...there's quicksand" "So...go in there...you die" "you make the turn, and grab a dog" "I give them out for free" "The owner says it's wasteful" "But, I say...just let it be" "The tenth hole is a par five" "It' one to reach in two" "But if you put it out of bounds" "I'd leave it...if I were you" "you know about the wild boar" "so eleven gets a pass" "he's got some bite, that sumbitch" "He might gore you in the *** "Now twelve...is quite a pickle" "I'll tell you watch out now.....not later" "We have a situation there" "It's fairway's full of gator" "What the hell is that you say" "There's a gator out there then" "Today there is but somedays son" "You can meet as much as ten" "You must be mad" I yelled at him "I'm leaving...I'll not play" "on a course so full of danger" "There's no way...just no way" I asked him for a refund he pointed up above his head "no refunds, only rainchecks" "and then only if you're dead" I sacrificed my forty bucks And left, out to my car The pro just sat and smiled "I've scared off thirty one so far" I know I'll not return here not with friends or by myself not with spiders in the bunkers Or gators on the twelfth.

The alligator in my dreams Stomped on all my pretty things He gobbled down My favorite clown He quickly tuned around Chased me till he found All he need do is open his jaws In I'd crawl In the belly of the beast I found the thief That stole my heart So I took back my part Turned around and strolled right out Between the teeth, in that beast's snout Pinched myself, so I would awaken So I could placed back the heart that's was forsaken

The Albino Alligator, the Squid and the Boar
Mother fish sees her eggs devoured by alligator that gulps everything on the sand save her own eggs and children. Mother fish cries her eyes out and seems not to be heard neither by the heaven, nor by the sea (their common abode), that bore them, and now assists to her boredom indifferently and silently, which silence she condemns and curses. She goes to the beach; she weeps and seeks revenge in vain. Now she sees a python that creeps from the bush around the beach. The creature she has never seen before, as immense as the world, eyes first the alligator whose blood becomes as cold as the ice under the sea. They stare at each other like someone intruder, at a home where he is not wished as guest, who faces the anger of the owner who would not him host but from there him usher out. They look at each other with sulks on their ugly faces and fear as each one faces this kind one for the first time. However intimidations from each party can’t touch the other party. The cold war ends and becomes hot: The Python and the alligator get ready to come at each other like warriors of different kings ready to defend their kingdoms’ colors, ready to defend the pride of their lords, and ready to die for their honour though they’d prefer to live unnoticed and live longer. Furious, the python throws her head up, her dart flies like flash out and in between the jaws of horrible sight, and the beast tests she’s still unrivaled in cruelty. She gets ready to attack. As for the alligator, all her muscles she does check, her arms dig into the sand, And she flies to crunch the enemy. She bites hard the neck of the python, yet her teeth can’t tear the strong scales of the mammoth reptile. The python pretends to be provoked; She wildly crawls and coils around the alligator and holds tight her body from the tail to the head. And alligator’s jaws, strong to weaker preys, become useless. Her mouth opens wide and starts to swallow the alligator as the latter did when she chewed the eggs and children of the fish. From distance the fish watches, admires and enjoys the scene as the python seems to be her avenger. In the end the whole body of the fallen fighter disappears into the trunk of the strange predator. Then the fish wonders, “Am I avenged or this strange creature merely needed food as did the poor alligator when she thought to rule over our lives and made my children her food, causing my eyes to shed floods of tears, that she did not notice ‘cause mixed with the waters? And she ignored the mightier one existed.” In conclusion the fish realizes were herself or her children the first seen by the python, they would face the same fate as the alligator she cursed and that alligator’s killer may not be by the Maker blessed. The most powerful predator cannot be of the fauna liberator. The greatest warriors fight to shed the blood of their victims. Only their aim they follow, and they turn deaf their ears to the tears of any fellow. And as the fish thinks of this predator, no ****** war winner will rule better than a beaten dictator.

Giant blue alligator in the night sky, white teeth gleaming like sharp moons. Chomp, chomp, chomping everything in its path. Big teeth grab onto the things we hold close: Love, laughter, life. All gone. Oh, alligator, haven't you eaten Enough?

The Blue Alligator
In his glass world he seems to float embryonic smooth and white, not pure white but rather yellowish watched by thousands of eyes far from his ilk, alligators in green, out there, innocent, harmless it seems as if they, in the evening after the last visitors have left, pull the valve out of his back and let the air and life leave him
