Laid out before a procession
A lineage of death masks held in by the teeth
That the wearers may be silent
And the dead may live again

Life before man; the peace and creation of nature
a cloud for every eager striving flower- inhabitants
of a creek; precious stones dressing the stream’s bed
Distant cousins to sea pebbles, bond to a long year
The once great might of ancient forests; swallowing
empty valleys of earth, in their timeless brilliance
of nature
Quiet rains that are like wiping tears from the sky’s
picturesque face; to the joys of grass that hungers
The brightness of today, pours through the walls
of tomorrow’s marrow- an endless returning light
And grand spotlight to the shadows we see, and
the shadows within. Pieces of ourselves revealed
to us
Human life, under the source of day- gives an
endless revealing, of the destiny we must accomplish.

Milestones
Completion...of a step
What does it mean to be done
Is there such a thing?
Sometimes the moment of doneness passes by
Invisible
Revealed only in hindsight
Savor the moments
Of completion
Accomplishment
Being done
Even if only of this step
The best laid plans can always go awry
So celebrate along the way
Celebrate the effort
The intention
The support you receive
Doneness as you expected may never come to pass
If it does
You will more concretely see
all the steps it took to get there
Either way
We all benefit
From celebrating milestones
All the steps along the way
Whether that means dreaming an idea
Or completing a voyage
Across a sea

Honestly. I'm tired of hearing it. Who are you? What are you going to do in life? How will you make your mark? What will you amount to?
That's not a real career. Have you thought about something else as a more practical career? You won't succeed.
How can I think freely if all my thoughts are full of holes? Everyone nitpicking them until they no longer exist, what's the point of even trying?
How can I succeed if everyone pushes me back into my bubble? What am I supposed to do if I can't even leave? No one expects me to leave, either.
How am I supposed to get anywhere if I'm surrounded by high expectations? What am I supposed to accomplish? I can't get anywhere today. The bar's too high. All I can do is complain. Is this really all I can do? It's so... awful. It's a bother. It's a nuisance. I hate it. What am I meant to be?

i am currently working on publishing my poetry into a collection
i don't expect to make any money
nor do i imagine that i will gain any popularity
but this is an accomplishment that has added motivation and excitement into my life
i know it will be difficult and draining
but wish me the best of luck

Summer unfurls before us
And warm sunshine tans my skin

Dug as defensive lines
Against a swarm

Now listen well and hear this tale
Of a sixteen year old lad
Who with his wit and flying skill
Made two great countries glad
The chasm was eight hundred feet
Across Niagara Falls
The travelers could not get across
The steep and spray soaked walls
“We need a bridge”, cried engineers
A modern thoroughfare
But how to reach the other side?
We cannot build on air
A rocket or an arrow? No.
But what about a kite?
Let’s have a contest for the youth
We’d have a start, though slight
The people came with kites prepared
For fame and a reward
And Homan Walsh was very first
To span the gorge with cord
A string, then ropes, then cables spanned
And soon the bridge was done
The mighty falls could now be crossed
With string it was begun
And every great accomplishment
Began with something small
Remember Homan and his kite
That bridged Niagara Falls

Because you are too busy can't not having it
By your can't not wanting it.
While you're doing what you want
Saying you can't not have what you're wanting.
Getting what you're wanting is
Not having what you doing to not
Can't not have wanting.
If it really is that what you really do are wanting at all.
