A spring orbit. Something is loosening. This week we turn toward what is coming back, and what we are finally ready to let come back.

Harshness vanished. A sudden softness
has replaced the meadows' wintry grey.
Little rivulets of water changed
their singing accents. Tendernesses,

hesitantly, reach toward the earth
from space, and country lanes are showing
these unexpected subtle risings
that find expression in the empty trees

Write a small blessing for the first warm day.

May your leaves and branches
Heavy with blessings be
May blue skies and greenest fields
Stretch as far as you can see
May perfidy behind you
And hope always before
And may the warmth in all our hearts
Be as sand upon the shore
May your birds trill with the sunshine
And the rabbits sleep peacefully
May the flowers bloom on every day
With joy and humility
May bashful raindrops glisten
Warm as they strike the ground
And may those of us still lost
Find new ways to be found.
