i am blessed; i need not to worry about my loved ones safety. i am blessed to be where i am, geographically. i am blessed with education, where many others could thrive like me, but are not where i am. i am blessed with health, despite not caring for it for very long. i am blessed, in many ways, and i only hope i can be worthy of them each and every day. i cannot write for a small blessing because they are all too big, and numerous.

As the sun emerges
from behind the stormy clouds
the warmth and light
blesses our holy skin-
let there be light in your life
for as long as the sun exists to guide you...

May the first warm day
find you gently,
sunlight resting on your skin
like it’s been waiting for you.
May the air feel softer,
and the weight you’ve carried
start to loosen, even just a little.
May the cold slip quietly away,
and something in you—
quiet, steady, and hopeful—
begin again. 🌤️

Sun, Sun go away
Never to return
Thickened clouds
Ink blotched formations
Fog loose in the moors
blood to be well fed
Off winds with
Gushes of sunlight only
to enjoy the pikes of hairs to stand
Upright
Warmth showering in every corner

May your leaves and branches
Heavy with blessings be
May blue skies and greenest fields
Stretch as far as you can see
May perfidy behind you
And hope always before
And may the warmth in all our hearts
Be as sand upon the shore
May your birds trill with the sunshine
And the rabbits sleep peacefully
May the flowers bloom on every day
With joy and humility
May bashful raindrops glisten
Warm as they strike the ground
And may those of us still lost
Find new ways to be found.

A prayer for days of warmth
Fill your soul with joy and love
Let God be the guide
For yourself to always be kind
And everyday will be a new day
To choose what is right
I pray for you and I
A blessing for days of warmth.

I bless you with a hug that you need but won't tell.
I bless you with cuddles you crave for god knows how long.
I bless you with love as serendipity's spiral.
I bless you for being you without changing into a shell.
I bless you like the first day of spring,
warm and clean, dry and serene.
I bless you for not being hung up on yourself and torn.
I bless you like one does so with a beautiful chant of a song.

Thank the creator
For this nice day,
The sun and
The moon uniting until the summer solstice
And before winter. I will be for ever grateful to be alive,
To see the thaw happen.
Winter was cruel but profitable
But that were it ends. Now I can see the sun, Polaris
And the stars equal
Now let's go to dragon moon
Soon I must look deep into my self
See the flaws if my behaviour before the thraw is over. I want to still see the stars
But alas the thaw is underway.

Lord, thank you for this feeling
this warmth upon on my skin.
Thank you for the birds that sing,
summoning the day to begin.
Lord, thank you for the season,
rebirth is all around.
Thank you for the gifts we have been given;
the warmth, the sights, the sounds.

May this shy warmth find you,
soft as a hand on a cold railing,
sure as light returning to long‑closed rooms.
May it loosen what winter tightened,
wake what grief had stilled,
and place in your chest
a small, bright yes,
enough to walk on,
enough to hope again.

After everything I’ve been through,
I’m grateful I’m still alive.
My heart hasn’t hardened
like those who hurt me and ran.
Even though pain stays with me most days,
I still find moments of joy
in newly bloomed flowers,
in feeding street cats,
in the small kindness
in someone’s behavior.
I can still see the lights,
even if my eyesight has changed
because of the dark.
