When will I learn?
I am always deceived;
How would I be able to determine what is true?
Why am I always the one losing?
Your words, I hold on dearly
Believing that what you feel for me is genuine
I thought your love for me was for real
But in the end I realized I hold on for nothing.
If I could just turn back time,
I would refrain myself from falling for you
To save my mind from going crazy,
To save my heart from this unbearable pain.

Hindi na nadala, hindi na natuto
Lagi na lang akong naloloko
Paano ba malalaman kung alin ang totoo
Lagi na lang ako ang talo.
Nanghawak akong mabuti sa iyong mga salita
Pag-ibig na tunay, yan ang aking inakala
Sa iyo, ako'y umasa,
Umasa lamang pala ako sa wala.
Sana hindi na lamang nagmahal
Kung alam kong hindi rin pala magtatagal,
Puso sana'y hindi ngayon nasasaktan ng ganito
Isip sana'y hindi tuliro.

I am a Filipino but all my poems are written in English. This is the first ever poem that I have written in Tagalog. I wrote an English translation of it so that you can understand the message of the poem :) Thanks for reading! ;)
