In our violent yet desolate universe, Where blazars and quasars wreak havoc On poor unsuspecting star systems, Where galaxies tear each other apart at the seams Bleeding gas and flinging star guts over an inky canvas Where there are stars so blistering they turn atoms to subatomic soup Where there are planets so frigid all particle movement ceases Where a stray rock could punch through our world and leave us all dead-but in comparison, relatively unharmed- Why are we destroying ourselves when we have an entire universe attempting to do just that?
