I’d never thought of seeing you again My mind too crammed to believe In such distasteful possibilities. Yet there you stood In all your pathetic glory – Imitating the successful knight Of children’s stories. They crowded around you Smiles, laughter and love. I stared on in disbelief and disgust. My foolish innocence never void I thought a sight of me May change your mind – Or display a shred of humanity. The unhesitant look you gave me Will forever haunt my twisted soul. I know what you did. How could you continue to live like this?
