Nope. You are not pathetic because you know what real love should be like. When a guy loves you with everything he's got and if he doesn't do that you'll know that you should leave him. What's really pathetic is not knowing what love should be like. Because if you don't know the  you'll be used and discard ed since you don't think you can get more.
