When it comes to fairness, feelings are useless scales. the curse of subjectivity, and volunerability of ego,   smell of victimisation. we will never be free with this attitude. your pain is always stronger than mine, I will always be more fatigued. I will never understand. you will never understand. one has always been through a hotter Hell than the other. deeper scars. bigger disappointments. yes, we are both bruised by Life. so let us comfort each other, rather than compete. there is no room for it in our love. we're both too old, and have been through too much to act like stubborn children. there is no "i" in "denial".
