trying to please
but not feeling at ease
trying to smile
but hiding sadness
trying to stand tall
but bowing under the weight
trying to find me
but feeling lost.
putting people first
but being left behind
putting a face on
but wanting to hide
putting best foot forward
but failing on each step
putting yourself out there
but finding where that is.
looking to the future
to see the light
looking for a better way
to find a new direction
looking deep inside
to find the courage
looking outside the box
to finally get where i'm supposed to be.....
