I don't know much about the world except that it is backwards and people can be thoughtless. But sometimes, on a really sunny day, when a girl is wearing bracelets and lying in the grass imagining what her life could be, all the lips she could kiss, all the lives she could touch, all the love she could build, the world glimmers. Underneath the sunlight, reflecting off her skin. It glimmers.
