There's a darkness Coldness closing in An empty pain A lonely abyss Wicked and dull A flame of hope kept flickering Trying to keep the dark at bay With the dark comes memories Once happy, now tinged with fear It feds on the pain With it the dark grows stronger More hollow and empty The attempt to keep that flame alive Draining the last of the energy Is hope enough to last?
